I’ve been taking Annabel out to play Pokémon Go, but Mike and James had never come along. That changed last night, when Annabel and I brought Mike and James with us to the library, a hotspot for Pokémon in our town. James was immediately into it (he likes any excuse to touch my phone), and Mike was intrigued and also very confused by all of the people.

Mike was unconvinced about Pokémon Go until he saw how much fun Annie and I have playing it together. We’ve discovered a bunch of cool hidden landmarks in our town, have been getting a lot of fresh air, and have fun being together. He tried to play it cool, but I saw him download the game when we got home.

It sounds like it can be fun but like with anything else there are negatives. I work 911 dispatch and the amount of telephone calls we are getting for “suspicious” people is ridiculous…all playing this game. And let’s not even discuss the people that are even more (if that can be possible) distracted with their driving. Uggg.

Looks like a fun evening with family, but I agree with Susan… the suspicious people and the distracted drivers… crazy!
On another note: Annie’s hair = Gorgeous and she looks so much older with her missing teeth

Our worksite – in a park – apparently is a hotbed of Pokemon! Several people at work play it. It’s tempting but I don’t really want to walk around while looking at my phone. Have fun. James seems to have excellent hand-eye co-ordination.

The great thing is you don’t have to stay staring at your phone. It will vibrate if a Pokemon shows up. I keep mine in my hand or shirt pocket, but spend my time between catches and pokestops talking to people or enjoying the scenery.

The above comment about suspicious people walking around made me think that, the world is peopleless until now and just seeing people out and about is strange. I love the video and Annie and spending time with you, so awesome. Maybe one day I will have a compatible phone. This seems so fun.
