Aw Sue, you’re so sweet! The chair is from Land of Nod http://www.landofnod.com . It’s a great gift – Annie’s was a gift. It’s very durable, my monster baby has put it through the ringer and it’s doing great! I highly recommend it!

Hope to see you soon! xoxo

Hi Heather – I’m a mom/housewife from Baltimore, Maryland. My kids are older (10 & 12) but I miss the baby days and I LOVE looking at your pictures of Annie every day. My kids always ask “who’s that baby?” and I always say “that’s my friend Heather’s baby!” — Anyway – I enjoy your blog – I read every morning after I read the news. You crack me up just about every time. Pictures of you at the lab – hysterical. Wishing you and Mike a happy, peaceful Thanksgiving.

I read you every day and love you adn your blog. I have been reading this other blog for a bit and I think you would connect well with this woman who lost her daughter. She also has a website on grief. She reminds me of you.

Hi Heather – I hope this note finds you and your family well.

I love reading about your everyday lives, thank you so much for sharing….I get such a kick out of the stories of Annabel, and your stories of Madeline, always rest in my heart deeply.

I am sending you a link of a family, here in Canada, from Victoria where I am from.

Their daughter was diagnosed with acute leukemia, the day before Christmas, she’s only 1 month old, they have 4 other children….the only hospital they can be at is in Vancouver, which to many “islanders” is a long way from home.

I read the progress and the website news everyday, there are so many people who have offered up their own help, homes, money, time. There isn’t a lot more that I can do, other then what was mentioned…..but I feel that they need “words”….your words.

You are so beautifully articulate, and heart renderingly honest and real…..and I guess I just think it would be so nice if they had someone who….knows, knew or ??

Sorry if I am being presumptious, I just think of you as a hero of words, and full of heartfelt sincerity….and that my daily dose of you, can perhaps help them in some way…

Anyways, here is the link and the story about baby Molly

Hi Heather,
I love your blog and think so many people can relate to you in how well you seem to blend being a parent and keeping your own identity. Thanks for serving as a great example for new moms! I think you would love this new children’s show Fo-Fo Figgily, it has hip music, a earthworm character who says DUDE! and all of the fabulous family values a mom like you requires. I thought you would appreciate it.

All my best, Jenna

Hi Heather,
I have been reading your blog for a little over a year now. Thanks so much for sharing! And also thank you for teaching/connecting me to Maddie. I started a new blog today, I am a little nervous but am just hoping to reignite a passion for writing while connecting with those blogs/lives I have become a silent part of in the past few years. I hope you will stop by and see if its something you may enjoy reading! Thanks again I look forward to continuing the journey you are on and hopefully I now may have the courage to comment!

Hi Heather! I am a SAHM of two living on the east coast near the ‘sweetest place on earth’. I really enjoy reading your blog and especially your videos. I love that you are genuine and ‘real’ in how you openly share your emotions… Thank you!
Today I was watching Regis and Kelly and they are doing a contest to send in your videos about how you start your day…the grand prize $20,000!! It’s called “great days start here” sponsored by Quaker Oats!! http://www.dadt.com/live/contest/greatdays/index.html
Now I’m going to challenge you, your beautiful voice and your family to come up with an amazing winning video!!

On your blog, I loved reading about how you name your daughter Annabel =
Violet, especially how you would use the name at Starbucks – that was a =
great idea!

Hi Heather

I’ve just come across your blog – my name is Annabel (spelled the same way too!) my parents call me Annie but as I grew up, my friends and now my better half all call me Bel.

I haven’t come across too many other Annabel’s, so fantastic name choice!

Annabel

Hi – I saw your story on AOL news – wondering if were are possibly related – not a very common name – we are from New York and have also lost a daughter at 9yrs old- seems like you are an inspiration to everyone who is following your life! My dad’s family is large and I have lost contact with most of my cousins – mainly from Ohio, Pennsylvania and Colorado.

Hi Cathy, we may be related… The Spohr side of the family was based in New York from 1890 (or sooner) through the 1970s.

In reference to your “no Mr. Fix it” blog: I am 39 , and have never worked in any type of construction work. I’m a girl. I became a property manager for a 20 room motel in Florida last year. I was front desk clerk/housekeeper/maintenance. We rented rooms by the week or month, so i was able to keep up with most of the work myself. I was able to do simple plumbing repairs, change door locks, install lock guards, etc… all by going to youtube and the google. I only had to get help with major jobs and obviously electrical work (other than changing light bulbs). The videos on youtube were especially helpful. Hope this helps.

That cemetery was my saving grace for everything that ever happened in my life. I couldnt tell you how many teasr and laughs have been shed there.

Hi Heather – love your blog and have been following for quite some time! In fact, besides friends and family, your site was the first one added to my Google Reader many years ago!

Anyway, really random blogging question. I am trying to add the copyright text to the bottom of each post when viewing in Google Reader (as you have on yours). I use Blogger so I know it might be different, but didn’t know if you had any tips or things to try…

Thanks so much!
