During quarantine, we’ve seen family, but always outside and always at least six feet apart. This weekend, after months of waving from a distance, we let my kids and my cousin Leah’s kids get close enough to each other to play and hug. Annie and Harper wasted no time.

These two are so cute together. Harper would do anything for Annie and vice versa. So happy they finally got some snuggle time.

~If you’re looking for a new family game (we are constantly looking for new ways to have fun during quarantine, get Taco vs. Burrito. Trust me.
Happy Sunday, everyone! Stay safe out there.

Ha, we just tried the Miracle Berries! Strawberries became almost unbearably sweet, deli mustard tasted like honey mustard, lemons were still tart but super yummy. I ate a whole lemon. Didn’t last very long though, maybe about 30 mins. But fun experiment.
Steph says:
I had to laugh at the Taco vs. Burrito. I spent over 15 years as a museum educator (not to mention helping with VBS, etc), which means lots of craft projects. I always told the kids to fold paper horizontally/short or long/vertically by saying hot dog or hamburger. I tried that when I was living in NM and the teacher nudged me. There it is taco or burrito. Haha.

How funny – the miracle berries were created several years ago. My husband brought some home from TED conference where they were giving them away. I always wondered if they’d end up for sale.
Michelle says:
Ooooh! We will have to try out Taco vs Burrito! We too have been playing a lot of games…Sushi Roll, Sagrada, and Ticket to Ride Europe (with the 1912 expansion pack) is our go-to right now.
