Mike and I are spending the weekend in San Diego for the wedding of one of my close friends from college. My parents and cousins Leah and Ted are taking turns staying with the kids, and we are so grateful for their help! The wedding reception is at the historic Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, one of the prettiest hotels I’ve ever seen. I’m writing this on Saturday morning, before the wedding, but I’m sure Mike and I will be posting on Instagram and I’ll definitely be writing about the wedding this week when we’re back.

Star Wars

How many of you saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens this weekend? We aren’t seeing it until Monday because of the wedding, so we’ve been verrrry careful to avoid spoilers. My brother got to go to the premiere last week, and he brought my mom as his date. She said it was so much fun – they were surrounded by people she recognized from TV and movies, and of course, the cast was only a few rows away from them. Look how pretty she looks with those Storm Troopers:

Winter Break

Annabel’s school is on winter break for the next two weeks, and Mike is taking this week off from work to be home with us. I’m really looking forward to not setting my alarm, not making lunches, and not having to be anywhere at any particular time. It’s going to be so nice to be home with my loves. I will post a few things this week, but I want to make sure I wish all of you who celebrate a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy your time with your families, eat delicious food, and get as much sleep as you can. We are so thankful to have you all in our lives!

Happy Sunday, everyone!
