Now that Annie’s all-star season is over, we are enjoying our first softball-free weekend in months. Of course, we can’t totally stay away from the game, and on Friday we went to watch one of our league’s older divisions play in the district tournament. This was the first time James got to watch a game WITH Annie, and he couldn’t get enough of her.

Luckily for him, she didn’t mind at all.

YouTube Red

If you watch a lot of YouTube (or if your kids watch a lot of the YouTube Kids app), you should try out their ad-free YouTube Red service. They’re currently offering a three-month free trial and I HIGHLY recommend it! It has made the time Annie and James watch YouTube Kids SO much more enjoyable because they aren’t asking me every five seconds if they can have whatever toy is being advertised in the commercials! Also, having YouTube Red gives you access to YouTube Original Programming, which is pretty awesome (my kids LOVE it). And while I have a free subscription to YouTube Red via my work with the YouTube Parent Panel, I will absolutely be paying for it when my time on the panel comes to an end!

Cool Things

~I kind of want to get Schuyler this dog tent, although I’m pretty sure James would take it over.
~Annie and James have a friend with a bunch of these plush Pokemon stuffed animals, and of course they want some now, too. I’m thinking about using them as rewards.
~In my never-ending quest to keep the kids busy in the mornings while I work, I just ordered a bunch of shrinky dinks sets. They are pretty cheap and I know they’ll keep the kids occupied for at LEAST 45 minutes.

The Toddler Survival Guide

The trailer we filmed for our book will be out TOMORROW! I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the book being out in just five weeks. Deep breaths! We also started a Facebook page for the book and we’d love your support there! Of course, if you want to pre-order our book, you can get it at AmazonBarnes & NobleBooks-a-MillionIndieboundPowellsQuartoKnowsand in Canada at Indigo-Chapters
