Annie and her Grandma love to tell each other jokes, but I really had no idea just how many jokes Annie actually knew until my mom filmed this stand up routine.

I love that they do this. And, I’m not ashamed to say that I laughed at every one of those jokes!
Wendy says:
Loved the penguin joke best. Still smiling as I type
samatwitch says:
I loved the penguin joke when I was a kid, many moons ago. I’m glad it’s still around. Here’s one for her: What’s black and white and red/read all over? A newspaper! (That one may be out-of-date now. Would she know what a newspaper is? The other answer is a blushing zebra, so she could use that one.
Sue says:
She did a super job remembering, and telling, all of those!!
Lee Cockrum says:
Very cute!!
Kate says:
I love that, at the end, she says, “Yeah, they are.” Like, “You had better recognize my comedic skills, because those jokes are BRILLIANT.” (Also, I have a coworker I torment with puns and bad jokes, and I may steal some of Annie’s jokes to share with her later.)
Cyndy says:
She’s great at telling the jokes, too! Love it!
Jessica Stringer says:
SO stinking cute!!! Thanks for the funny start to my day!
ella says:
A+ personality!!! Btw…Heather, since I think I remember you writing for them…. do you know when Babble will be back up??
Heather says:
I don’t know. Last I heard, they migrated the site to a new server, at the expense of their current design. So they’re fixing that now, I guess? They haven’t given us a “live” date yet. It’s all very vague and mysterious.
Angie says:
Bravo, Annie!!!
And to Heather and Mike….I randomly saw a huffpost article on Facebook about a month ago that was talking about Maddie. I think it was about your first March for Maddie, but at this point I don’t really remember all of the details. I had to go back and read your story the whole way through, because I had to know what happened from the beginning.
I have spent all of my “free reading time” (which as a mom of 2 young girls is usually short – I’m sure you know) reading about your family – Maddie, Annie, and James, just to catch up on your story. My dear, sweet husband has asked me every night if I am closer to to “being current” and has asked for updates every night.
I am finally current with your blog. I have read every entry you have written since before Maddie was born and I have lots of things to say. The two of you have been to hell and back, but you keep moving and LIVING. You have three beautiful children who will forever leave their marks upon this earth, as will both of you, as well as countless friends and family members of yours.
I am amazed by your strength. I am amazed by your grace. I am amazed at your hope.
Heather says:
Wow Angie! I can’t tell you how much this means to me! Thank you so much for reading, and commenting. I’m honored that you dedicated your small bits of free time to reading my words! You’re the greatest. xoxo

Hi Heather! I’ve only commented once before…It was about home decor and I suggested looking at model homes..Not sure if it ever went thru or not..ANYWAY…. Not sure if this will go thru either but I got my MIL a gift per your suggestion… The engraved cutting board…. And just wanted to say, THANK YOU. What an amazing gift…. Her, my Mamma, myself, AND all the boys were in tears, in a good way. So I just wanted you to know that.. You touch those of us who even aren’t Mom’s yet…And it means the world. Thank you for all you do. HAPPIEST Mother’s Day to you…
Heather says:
YAY! I’m so happy about this! I got one for my mom, too. Thank you so much for letting me know, that makes me so happy! Happy Mother’s Day to all of you, and thank you so much for reading!
