Last night my friend Jayme and I took Annie and Jayme’s daughter, Dylan, to a concert that benefitted cancer research. The lineup was pretty amazing – Jonas Brothers, Becky G, Halsey, Billie Eilish, Marshmello, Lizzo, Camila Cabello, and Taylor Swift. A teen (or in this case, tween) dream! Because of all the large lineup, each act had about 30 – 40 minutes to perform. That’s really only enough for a few big hits and maybe one or two lesser-known songs — except for Billie Eilish, who tore her way through TEN songs. Taylor Swift, as the last act of the night, was only able to play five songs before she had to stop because of the Hollywood Bowl’s curfew rule. But even with the shortened set, she was great. Also, Lizzo was AMAZING and left Jayme and me searching for tickets to her future concerts, but without the kids — I think this huge lineup should satisfy Annie’s concert itch for a while. (If you’re interested, I posted a bunch of clips of the performers to my Instagram Stories).
So many peace signs.
