I have two week’s worth of articles for you all today! I’d fully intended on posting last Sunday, but then I got a load of this place and left my computer in the dust:
That is the sand and water at Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. I took this picture when I was walking back to the ship after running the Castaway Cay 5K. YES! I RAN A RACE! ON PURPOSE! I can’t wait to tell you all about the rest of our trip this week. I think I’m *almost* feeling back to normal!

Batter Up
Both kids had ball games yesterday that were called because of rain. When I said to James, “Hey buddy, I just heard that your game is canceled tomorrow,” he started sobbing. After a few moments of big, gulping tears, he turned to me and said, “Mommy, what does ‘canceled’ mean?” Luckily, team photos weren’t canceled this morning. I can’t get over how adorable he and his teammates are.
Fun Stuff
~By beloved crimping iron, which I’ve had since the 1980s, finally bit the dust. RIP crimping iron, you were a dedicated soldier. I replaced it with this multi-tool, I’ll let you know how it works!
~A few of you suggested this inflatable travel booster seat, and it was FANTASTIC when we were in Florida!
~I can’t remember if I told you all about this drawing book, but I got it for Annie and it’s freaking ADORABLE. She loves it!
Happy Sunday, Everyone!
Cathy says:
I’ve never left a comment before but I just wanted to say that your Sunday links are always amazing – thought-provoking and tear-inducing. Thank you. And thank you for having the courage to share political stories which I know some bloggers avoid. Thank you.
