Dutch Babies
Recipe type: Breakfast
  • Butter
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Flour
  • (see picture above for measurements)
  1. To make, place butter in pan and set in a 425° degree oven.
  2. While butter melts, mix batter quickly. Put eggs in a blender or food processor and whirl at high speed for 1 minute.
  3. With motor running, gradually pour in milk, then slowly add flour and continue to whirl for 30 seconds. (if you use a bowl, beat eggs until blended gradually beat in milk then flour)
  4. Remove pan from oven and pour in batter.
  5. Return the pan to oven and bake until pancake is puffy and well browned, about 20-25 mins depending on your pan size.
  6. Dust pancake with powdered sugar.
~2-3 qt. ~Possible toppings can be syrup, fruit, strawberries or peaches sweetened to taste or hot fruit.
