OMG! This.is.the.best.thing.ever. The Jello is killing me!!! Annie looks like she’s ready to party and James looks SO big! SOOO funny! Thanks for the laugh!
How did you get your mitts on the Disney animator collection Elsa and Anna??? I’ve been trolling the Disney store website for weeks to snag them for my girls!
I KNOW, the curls are mostly gone. Her hair looks extra-straight here because she and I had played “hair salon” earlier and I gave her a blow out. Lucky!
So my whole life I thought that spring break was in mid-March for everyone, because that’s when it always has been for me. A month ago, I learned that people “up north” have spring break in April. My mind was blown but I made sense out of it because their weather up there doesn’t get warmer as early. But then here you come with your April spring break in California and blew my whole theory! Help me understand!
I know a lot of schools base their spring breaks on Easter, so some years it’s in March and some in April. The school districts where we live are still around the Easter calendar, but when I was in college spring break was always in March, regardless of when Easter fell!
My parents are retired teachers, I’m married to a teacher, I work at a University (all in CA)…. Basically spring break falls where it is best for the particular school – sometimes it’s based around Easter (though that seems to be more often the case in “conservative/religious” smaller communities); often it’s based around state testing dates – meaning, they don’t want the kids just coming back from spring break all hopped up on fun and then force them to sit down and be serious on several days of testing in a row; at the Univ it is based on the end of the winter quarter.
