Giveaway – Rusk Deep Shine and CTC Str8 Iron

by Heather on June 15, 2010

in Win Stuff

OK you guys, I am a sucker for hair stuff, as you know. I have blogged about it a million times. A couple weeks ago I got an email asking me if I wanted to try some products from Rusk. Um, YES PLEASE.

I was sent the Deep Shine Smooth Keratin Care smoothing shampoo & conditioner and deep-penetrating treatment. I tried it and seriously? My hair is loving it. It makes my hair feel so clean and soft. I think it smells so nice – like when you get your hair washed at a salon, and it has that clean salon smell. I asked Mike what he thought of the smell, and he said, “it smells alright. I wish it smelled more like strawberries.” WTF?! I haven’t used strawberry shampoo since junior high. I’m a grown up, damn it!

Anyway, I was also sent the CTC Str8 Iron. I am a junkie for straightening irons. While I do have naturally straight hair, it is NOT pretty when it’s freshly blown out:

That is seriously my hair after I blow it dry. I wish I was kidding.

After I used the CTC Str8 iron? BOOYA:

OK I was trying a smokey eye makeup thing and it went a little awry, hence the bangs over the right side. Also, I’ve always wanted to do a crazy before and after pic! But HELLO my hair looks awesome! (ignore the nursing tank)

So do you want to win all this stuff? OBVIOUSLY you do, right?! All the hair products retail for $15 each and the CTC Str8 Iron retails for $215.99. That’s practically a prize you would have to pay taxes on.

One person will win everything. The prizes are courtesy of Rusk. The products I reviewed were free to me but everything else is uncompensated yadda yadda disclosure.

To win! Go to the Rusk Website and come back here and leave me a comment telling me what other things you would want from their site, be it appliances or styling treatments, etc. One comment per person, please. Winner will be chosen on Thursday by random.org after noon pacific time.

Good luck!

THE CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED! Winner will be announced later today!

Lora is the big winner winner chicken dinner! WOO!

BIG stuff this week, Yay!

    3 Sidnie June 15, 2010 at 1:29 am

I would love the W8less hair dryer, and the heat freak brushes.
I have a crazy weird frizzy section in the back of my head that showed up after my 1st pregnancy… It’s a PAIN to blow out straight, and even more of a pain to straighten….

This hair dryer! It’s eco friendly but still “salon quality”.

    5 nancy June 15, 2010 at 1:41 am

i would totally love the ctc styling brushes… my current brushes are just too sad and seeing those on the website reminds me that i need new ones desperately!

    6 meglovestombrady June 15, 2010 at 1:45 am

I would definitely want the ceramic curling iron. I read in the description that it doesn’t make your hair frizzy, which is totally awesome. And seriously every time I curl my hair it becomes frizzy(gah). This is a product I would love to get someday!

    7 Diana P June 15, 2010 at 1:45 am

    Hot Rollers!! Pls. :)

    8 Kristy H June 15, 2010 at 1:49 am

I’d love to try the Coral Therapy Treatment, and the Professional Ceramic Curling Iron! i always seem to go for the cheapest hair products, so I’m sure I’d fall in LOVE using these!!!
Kristy H´s last [type] ..Wow, that was scary!

    11 Alicia June 15, 2010 at 2:28 am

I would be thrilled if my hair looked even half as gorgeous as yours does here! I think I just need to have one of those CTC Str8 Irons!!

    12 Jackie June 15, 2010 at 2:31 am

I want to try the Sensual Wellness “Heal” shampoo and conditioner. My hair is still recovering from a bad dye job over a year ago, and these sound like just the products for it.

    13 Kathryn June 15, 2010 at 2:34 am

Have to go with the entire “Heal” line, especially the repair drops and restorative treatment!! My hair is dry and damaged from years of coloring and my currling iron addiction!!!

I would love the W8less dryer. My current dryer that I have had for oh, about a century or so is starting to smell like burnt waffles.

    18 Teki June 15, 2010 at 3:18 am

I was going to say the ceramic curling iron, just for fun. But I realized I NEED the w8less blow dryer as mine sucks!

    19 Whitney June 15, 2010 at 3:19 am

Go on with your bad self, you sexy model. :-) I’d love to try their CTC dryer. It’s sad to say, but I’ve been using the same rinky dink hair dryer for the last 10+ years.
P.S. I hope I used that expression correctly. After reading about your dear mama yesterday I’ve been running through all the slang I use. ;-)

    20 Leah June 15, 2010 at 3:24 am

I would love one of those ceramic curling irons – so I can get those big sexy soft curls! Of course, I have kinky/frizzy Italian girl hair so what I really need is the straightening iron.

    21 Gwendy Ellingson June 15, 2010 at 3:25 am

I would love the W8less hair dryer….what a great idea, especially for traveling. Thanks Heather!

    22 leigh June 15, 2010 at 3:30 am

I would love to have the ceramic hair dryer. That’s what my stylist uses so it has to be great.

    23 Marianne June 15, 2010 at 3:32 am

For me it’s the flat iron all the way! If only my hair could look like that! I suppose a good w8less blow dryer might help too! I hope I win.

My hair and I would both love the W8less hair dryer, and the heat freak brushes. Sadly, my hair is just curly enough to look messy if I leave it alone, and sort of frizzy and pathetic if I try to straighten it. Something seriously needs to be done here!

    27 Briana June 15, 2010 at 3:45 am

Would LOVE the W8less dryer!! AND the hot rollers!!

    28 Lora June 15, 2010 at 3:46 am

    31 Amy June 15, 2010 at 3:54 am

Definitely the Str8 iron. You sold me! I’ve been looking for a new one and your results are great.

32 Lindsay from Florida June 15, 2010 at 3:57 am

I would love those Heat Freak brushes. First, because they kind of have a kick-ass name. Second, because at least on mornings when I don’t have time for the full blow and straighten routine (my hair does just what yours does, Heather!), that brush looks like it could improve some things on its own!

    33 meg June 15, 2010 at 3:57 am

Love the before and after. You look gorgeous! I WISH my hair looked as good as yours in the first photo….never mind the second! Holy crap! Beautiful!

    39 Stephanie Parnell June 15, 2010 at 4:04 am

I already use Rusk Define when I straighten my hair. I have curly hair that, at the drop of any water, sweat, MOISTURE, immediately turns curly again. The Define creates a barrier that makes it take a lot longer for the moisture to affect my hair. It smells amazing and helps with the frizz better than any product I have ever used. Did I mention it smells amazing??

ahhhh the “Sensories Wellness Heal” shampoo would be great. Especially over the summer – the sand, sun and surf – and pools – take a major toll on my hair. It would be nice to have some of this shampoo.

However, as a short term, I think if I tried one of their CTC Str8 Iron I would see less damage. If I win, I would post before and after pics too, but be warned, the before are hairy scary!

I need a straight iron, I have thick naturally curly hair. I love it but sometimes a girl just needs straight hair that you can run you hands through. Then I would get the the anti frizz styling product. My hair is terrible in humidiity and I love on Wosconsin where it is humid all summer long!

Oh, I wish I could post a before pic of how my naturally straight hair looks post blow-drying…not a pretty sight. I would love the straightener, and the hot rollers, since the solution for post blow-dry craziness is sometimes to just give in and curl it..

    95 Stephanie June 15, 2010 at 5:00 am

I would love to have the Sensories Calm body wash and lotion, well mostly because I could use anything that may actually “calm”!

Every single thing on the website looks great, especially the straightener you used on your hair. Awesome!

    96 Leslie A June 15, 2010 at 5:00 am

Blond, red, brown – usually I just throw up my hands and tell my awesome stylist Kelly to pick :) What the heck, it’s really the change that I’m after, not the specific color… but yeah, my straightening iron could use an upgrade too!

    105 Colleen June 15, 2010 at 5:04 am

Love the before and after pics! Your hair looks awesome! I’ve never used a straightener but from the looks of your results I’m missing out! Between that and the Heat Freak brushes my hair would be rockin’!
Thanks Heather for helping us gals out! :o )

    116 jp June 15, 2010 at 5:12 am

I would love the Str8 iron. I’ve been contemplating getting a flat iron, but keep choking at the price. I’d also love the brushes and the shears.

    117 Anna June 15, 2010 at 5:14 am

I totally wanna try the Deepshine stuff. Who couldn’t use some smoothing and shining?!

    118 Louise June 15, 2010 at 5:14 am

I would love that iron! My hair is wacked out in this Houson humidity! I’d also go for Rusk Str8 Anti-Frizz and Anti-Curl Lotion

    119 coloradolady June 15, 2010 at 5:14 am

I certainly could use all of this, and would chose the hairdryer because ours just fried!!!

    123 Jessica June 15, 2010 at 5:19 am

    125 krissy June 15, 2010 at 5:20 am

Oh I love love love the shine! Just spray it on after you flat iron and your hair smells great and is all shiny! But realy, I’d use any of it!!! It all smells great!

    126 Kristi June 15, 2010 at 5:20 am

Love the Heat Freak brushes…I have curly hair that needs taming pretty often!

    127 Erin June 15, 2010 at 5:21 am

    128 Whitney June 15, 2010 at 5:22 am

I think I would want to try some of the styling products. My hair needs help!

    129 Trey June 15, 2010 at 5:23 am

I would pick the dryer for sure! The one I have now is a dud, it gets sooooo hot…I hate it!

    130 Alexa June 15, 2010 at 5:23 am

Would love that straightening iron because my hair looks very similar to your pic after the blow dry (minus the nursing tank). I’ve been trying to play around with different styles, so I’d love the Rusk curling iron and hot rollers!

    131 Sara June 15, 2010 at 5:24 am

I want the CTC Hair dryer and the straightener you used. Anything I can do to look as hot as you! =)

    132 Judy June 15, 2010 at 5:24 am

I truly just want the straightner but if I had to pick another product it would be anything from the Deepshine line. Some days I feel my hair is truly nothing but straw.

    133 reshmi June 15, 2010 at 5:25 am

one of the ceramic hair dryers please

    134 Kim June 15, 2010 at 5:26 am

I would love to have a flat iron! Mine broke recently so I have been rocking the wave.

A straightening treatment would be even better!!

    140 Julie June 15, 2010 at 5:29 am

I am such a sucker for hair products, so I was in heaven when I was looking at the Rusk website. I think I would LOVE any of their products, from the hair straighteners, hair clippers (since I cut Hubs hair), one of their professional curling irons, or hair dryers (considering mine is about done)! I would definitely take 2 of everything. But, the products I saw that I really want is the Coral Therapy products, especially the Coral Therapy Deepshine Formula – Marine Nutrient Treatment. my kids hair is already frying from the chlorine and swimming everyday and these products look like they could help the problem, after all I know how awful it is to fry your hair in the summer and then start 2nd grade with a haircut that makes you look like a BOY!

    141 Mandy June 15, 2010 at 5:29 am

    161 Kristie June 15, 2010 at 5:38 am

Besides the straightener, I’d like to try the Deepshine conditioner and the Shine Enhancing Repair Drops. I love the look of soft shiny hair!

    162 Ashley June 15, 2010 at 5:40 am

I would like the CTC hairdryer and the heat freak brushes!

    163 Tina S June 15, 2010 at 5:40 am

I would love to try the Pro elements: Keratin system. I have colored my hair for years going from blond to my natural brown to dyeing it to cover the gray. That has left my hair dry and dull, I could really use something to help restore the moisture and shine to it.

    164 Isabel June 15, 2010 at 5:41 am

I would LOVE the hot rollers. My hair is seriously getting thin and needs more volume. Your hair color is so pretty btw. Your hair looks so healthy. Nice.

    169 Nikki June 15, 2010 at 5:44 am

without a doubt the hot rollers. Your hair and eyes look great!

    170 daisy June 15, 2010 at 5:44 am

I would love to try the DeepShine. I have very thick, coarse, color-treated hair and it’s a chore to make it not look fried. I’ve also always wanted to try the hot rollers. I’ve been a bit afraid because when I say I have thick hair I mean I HAVE THICK HAIR and I’ve always been a bit afraid hot rollers would leave me looking like Orphan Annie.

    171 yvonne June 15, 2010 at 5:44 am

It would for sure have to be the STR8 Iron – I have naturally curly hair that I straighten everyday, so a quality flat iron is what my hair needs! Oh, and you look pretty hot with that smokey eye look! I always end up looking like a prize fighter…..

Wow. I seriously need help with my hair. Everyday I just let it dry, then I pull it back in a ponytail. It curls up like a bad perm otherwise. I’d LOVE a straightener, the deep penetrating treatment, and the hot rollers. :) I’d even put aside my Pantene to try out the shampoo and conditioner.

Even if I don’t win, someday I’ll show you how horrible my hair is.

    223 Megan June 15, 2010 at 6:12 am

I would love the Sensories Wellness Bedew
Hydrating Treatment or one of the curling irons! Everything looks fabulous!

224 Laura in LA June 15, 2010 at 6:13 am

I need anything and everything they have to fight humidity! Maybe some of the “Heal” products would be handy.

    225 Jen Tate June 15, 2010 at 6:13 am

I would love the w8less hair dryer. My hair takes forever to dry, and by the time I’m done, my arms feel like they are going to fall off.

    226 Sarah June 15, 2010 at 6:13 am

I have naturally curly hair that I straighten every night — so I’m a sucker for hair straighteners!!
I would love to try the W8less 2000 watt straightening iron!! And any product that says anti-frizz is a friend of mine!!

    228 Claire June 15, 2010 at 6:13 am

    229 Kim June 15, 2010 at 6:14 am

I would love to have the ceramic dryer, but because I’ve never found a decent set of hot rollers, I think I would pick them. I’d love to try the thermal flat iron spray!

    230 Suz June 15, 2010 at 6:14 am

I wish my hair looked at good as your before picture, lol! I need one of everything, but I think the ceramic curling iron would be a good start. I have never straightened my hair, but heck, if I got a free STR8 iron, I would be willing to figure it out. :)

    231 Megan June 15, 2010 at 6:14 am

I would go for the ceramic dryer! My hair is such a hot mess already, it could only help!

aw man, it’s hard to choose. but i think if the world were mine, i would want the pink ceramic hair dryer, with a side of those lovely rounded brushes to smooth out my bush-whacker hair. :)

    234 mel June 15, 2010 at 6:15 am

Is one of everything an answer!? I would love the W8less dryer. My hair dryer was the 5 dollar Walmart special. It weighs a gazillion pounds and has electrical tape wrapped around 3 spots but I am too cheap to buy a new one.

    236 Lidia June 15, 2010 at 6:16 am

I would to have the CTC technology dryer. My dryer is NO JOKE nearly 10 years old. It’s HUGE .. And LOUD.. HORRIBLE. It’ll dry my hair into a frizzy mess. Much worst then your “before”picture which by the way wasn’t so bad ! HA! I wished my hair looked that way AFTER styling it ! So I keep my klunker of a dryer because even though it’s a dinosaur it has yet to break . BREAK dammit BREAK!

    237 SherryLane June 15, 2010 at 6:16 am

I TOTALLY want the go green hair dryer!!!

    238 Suzy June 15, 2010 at 6:17 am

I just bought a new dryer, but could use an awesome brush and high tech treatments for shine and manageability for this mess of a head of hair. There is hope yet!

    269 MaryAnne June 15, 2010 at 6:31 am

I would take the…heck, all of it. But in particular, the Deepshine line, any anti-frizz tools they have, and the ceramic straightening iron. And a professional live-in stylist.

    270 di June 15, 2010 at 6:31 am

Str8 iron. My hair is like yours, Heather, but cut into a short bob. It is also half red and half battleship gray right now, but that is a sob story for a different time :-P

    271 Kayci June 15, 2010 at 6:32 am

    273 Leanna June 15, 2010 at 6:34 am

I love the ceramic dryers! I have not-quite-straight but not-quite-curly hair which is very thick. Always a challenge to get my hair not to look like I stuck my finger in an electrical outlet. Oh, and did I mention that I live in the humidity capital of the world – South Florida??

    274 Jeanne Hendrickson June 15, 2010 at 6:34 am

Which means a lot of ponytails happen up in here. I’d love to try Rusk’s wet to dry straightener and the Pro-Elements products. Mmmm, products!

I’m in desperate need of the ctc styling brushes. I’m still using the same hair brush from when I was 8 years old. Okay, maybe I shouldn’t have admitted that. That’s pretty gross.

    293 Deb June 15, 2010 at 6:43 am

    295 Marla June 15, 2010 at 6:44 am

I NEED the STR8iron and heat freak brushes! But then again my hair always looks a mess! So any help would be AWESOME! (cue Yo Gabba Gabba music!)

Thanks so much for the contest!

    339 Jessica June 15, 2010 at 7:01 am

I TOTALLY want the w8less dryer!! I cannot afford a good dryer and this would be perfect! And a new straightener? It would be amazing!!!

    340 Andrea Myers June 15, 2010 at 7:01 am

    Have a great day Heather!

    341 Mary June 15, 2010 at 7:02 am

    342 divrchk June 15, 2010 at 7:03 am

The heat freak brushes look awesome!

    343 Judy Oyhenart June 15, 2010 at 7:04 am

I love the RUSK Sensories “:Heal” line of products, so I would totally stock up on those! My weeDD (14 years old) would LOVE some hot rollers. My set is ANCIENT (and missing all but 4 clips, so rolling a whole head is a logistics challenge.)

    344 Amanda June 15, 2010 at 7:04 am

Any of the designer collection products would be great. My hair is so frizzy when curly, but very hard to straighten.

    345 Tammy June 15, 2010 at 7:04 am

First of all…your hair looks fab! Second, the CTC dryer looks like the perfect companion to the CTC Str8 Iron.

    346 Trisha Vargas June 15, 2010 at 7:05 am

Love the concept of the green dryer and straightening iron but with the same power as salon tools.

That’s pretty awesome that they offer those!

    347 Kristen June 15, 2010 at 7:05 am

I would LOVE a new ceramic hair dryer. it takes forever to blow dry my hair!

    348 Amanda Gambill June 15, 2010 at 7:06 am

    349 Stacey June 15, 2010 at 7:07 am

I would love the Speed Freak Pink Ceramic Dryer as I blow out my hair every. single. day and it could use some lovin from a nice blow dryer. I would also love the Heat Freak Styling Brushes… or honestly just about anything on their website!

    350 Amanda Pyle June 15, 2010 at 7:08 am

I would love the deep shine treatment!

    352 Heather June 15, 2010 at 7:09 am

This is a giveaway after my own heart! After I had my son, I cut off my loooooong hair to shoulder length and realized that I couldn’t do anything with it unless it was dried and straightened and I have literally worn the ceramic coating off of the current straight iron that I have. I would love to try the Rusk Str8 Iron with CTC Technology because my hair is thick and needs a lot of heat to straighten it properly. I would also love the W8less hair drier so that I wouldnt’ get a muscle cramp in my arm every time I dry my hair..lol.

    353 Jenna June 15, 2010 at 7:12 am

Ooooh, I would love a new curling iron. And a Heat Freak brush. I really need a round brush, but I would probably just end up with it tangled up in my hair just like the last time…
    Jenna´s last [type] ..1:30 AM

    354 Christine June 15, 2010 at 7:12 am

I would love one of those Speed Freak Dryers. It takes days to blow dry my hair – I bet that puppy would knock it out right quick!

I would LOVE a new styling brush…especially a really nice one!

    357 MK June 15, 2010 at 7:14 am

Hi Heather! This is right up my alley! I worked at a salon a lot of years ago and got hooked on great hair products – but can no longer affored them! I would love the deepshine shampoo and conditioner, I’m all about the shine! And the curling iron looks great too. Anything to be frizz free! Oh and hot rollers! I love me some hot rollers.

    361 Kay June 15, 2010 at 7:18 am

The eco-friendly blow dryer. Or anything from there. My hair is like yours and straight but I seldom take the time to do much to it for work. Only when going out or somewhere special. That flat iron would be sweet!

    362 Dena June 15, 2010 at 7:18 am

I’d love to give any of it a try. I air dry my curly hair every day and am definitely in a style rut! Thanks!

    363 curtisey June 15, 2010 at 7:18 am

ohhh! your hair looks amazing! mine looks just like yours in the before after i blow dry, but it definitely doesn’t look like your after when i straighten!

i’d love to get the curling iron. i always see people with the ends of their hair in those pretty loose curls, but haven’t gotten around to buying a curling iron. the heat freak brushes look awesome too!

    364 Jessalee June 15, 2010 at 7:18 am

Could I have Nancy O’Dell’s hair? And her cute figure.

If that’s a definite no, then I’d love the hot rollers. I’ve been wanting a good, solid set of hot rollers, and if the straight iron works that well, the hot rollers must be awesome.

    365 BMom June 15, 2010 at 7:18 am

Ooooh, so many things I’d love! I have one of THE WORST types of difficult hair out there (ladies, I’m not kidding, 100% totally serious) . Super-duper baby fine & thin, and waaaay curly. The ceramic irons look great. I do have two daughters with lovely hair and we could use any of those products, I’m sure!

    Thanks for the contest, Heather.

    366 Mary June 15, 2010 at 7:18 am

There’s nothing I don’t want! I am a beauty product junkie :-) I would probably pick one of the coloring treatments though because the grays are really setting up camp here on my head!

    373 MissyK June 15, 2010 at 7:22 am

All their stuff looks Great! As does your hair Heather. Wish my hair came out like that when I try to straighten it.

As to what other products from them I would like…I think the Being Sensible Moisturizing shampoo & the conditioner. My hair is so dry it needs all the help it can get.

    374 Katie June 15, 2010 at 7:23 am

As someone with painfully straight, can’t-do-a-damn-thing-about-it hair, I’d love to try out the hot rollers.

    394 Abby C. June 15, 2010 at 7:34 am

I LOVE that straightening iron, I’d definately give it a try. I’d also love any of their Deepshine products line – they have keratin from seaweed in them and I’ve had alot of good luck with that on my hair.

I think I would try the Designer Collection….I have kind of difficult hair and I need products that I can mix and match.

I would LOVE the product! I have straight but crazy hair also – I love your hair in the after pic!

    431 Amber June 15, 2010 at 7:54 am

I love the look of your shiny hair after the serum and the straightner. On my wish list I would love the iron, I am very busy mom and really don’t have the extra play money to replace my 5 year old iron than fries and pulls individual hairs out of my head daily, but the end result is that my half curly, half thick horse hair is somewhat straight. Hey we all can’t have movie star hair. :)

    432 Chris June 15, 2010 at 7:54 am

Ohh!! Ohhh! The sense line, and the str8 iron, I love what it did with your hair! Wow!!!

    433 Julie June 15, 2010 at 7:55 am

    I’ll have what you’re having.

My hair desperately needs smoothing and straightening. It’s about half curly now (used to be gorgeous Julia Roberts big red curls but thanks to menopause it’s now Little Orphan Annie frizz) and sister needs some HELP.

I want to look like the Rusk spokeswoman – oh, that wasn’t one of the options from the web site?? Okay then I’ll take the W8less 2000 watt blow dryer instead. I wonder if the Str8 iron could tame my hair ‘cuz it is a really big mess!

I’m really interested in their Go Green With Rusk line of hair dryers and flat irons. I have really thick, naturally curly hair, and I wash and blow dry it every single day. It would ease my conscience to know I was using a hair dryer that was made from recycled materials and consumed 26% less energy!

    445 Michelle M. June 15, 2010 at 8:07 am

I’d love to try the Srt8 iron! I also have straight hair and so I never thought to use one, but seeing your before and after pictures has conviced me. I would also love to try the ceramic curling iron. I’m certain it would put the one I currently own to shame!

My hair would love the Coral Therapy styling products and the Heat Freak round brush. :)

    447 Christian Kay June 15, 2010 at 8:08 am

You’re hair looks amazing! Every time I straighten mine (however, I have naturally curly hair) there are little hairs that stick out everywhere! Anyway, I really would like to have RUSK anti curl anti frizz! After reading about it, it leaves the curl (which makes the anti curl part a bit confusing) but diminishes the frizz!! I NEED!

Bee-yoo-ti-ful hair! Other than the straightening iron, I looked at their site and really like the light weight hair dryer.

I would love any of the brushes, a curling iron, and any of their shampoo/conditioner/stylling products! Heck I would LOVE anythign they have!

    462 Lisa June 15, 2010 at 8:16 am

I love how your hair looks! Mine is similar to yours-straight but blow drying makes it flyaway.

I think the Sensories Calm line looks great!

    463 elaine June 15, 2010 at 8:17 am

i have long been a huge fan of their str8 lotion because i love how it smells and it love what it does (my hair is wavy and i often want it flat, not in a trapezoidal)

i would covet a set of styling brushes as the one i use is some $2.99 job from the local national drugstore chain…

    464 Michelle June 15, 2010 at 8:17 am

I would love to have any of the dryers to go along with the straightener. Wow, you hair looks amazing!

    465 Wendy June 15, 2010 at 8:18 am

I would LOVE the straightening iron and the blow dryer! My flat iron does not seem to be doing the job anymore!!

Your hair looks great (love the color too) what did we do before the flat iron was invented?! I love Rusk products too…I use the flat iron heat spray and the finishing cream called “wired”…both are awesome. I currently have the CHI straightener by Farouk but it’s old and not as effective so the Rusk straightener would be awesome to have!

    468 Nadine June 15, 2010 at 8:19 am

Sensories Wellness line since I live in Texas and the heat is turning my hair into straw. They have ingredients like Argan Oil (Think “Moroccan Oil”) and some from Ethiopia – I am from South Africa and super homesick right now so anything from the Dark Continent would be awesome :) And then the ceramic hair straightener/curling iron because I have long hair (halfway down my back) and my current straightener sucks so hard that I don’t even bother. Which means I currently walk around with a Whoopi Goldberg-in-sister-act afro. Not pretty.

    470 Tammy McMahon June 15, 2010 at 8:20 am

I would love the straight iron and all of their str8 products as I have very curly hair and It seriously takes hours to blow it out and flat iron it !!
I have to say that it makes your hair look great !!

    471 Katie June 15, 2010 at 8:21 am

The CRC STR8 looks awesome, so do their heat freak brushes.

    472 Emily June 15, 2010 at 8:25 am

    473 Becky June 15, 2010 at 8:25 am

The ceramic straightener. I straighten my hair everyday and it would be nice to have a high quality straightener that would be gentler on my hair.

    475 Bon June 15, 2010 at 8:26 am

My hair and I don’t have the best relationship. I try to attempt styles… it decides I have no idea what I’m doing & goes with what it wants. Which is why I’m drooling over the styling products in the Designer section (it’s Designer! it’s got to work!) and the curling iron & hot rollers. Never mind I’m half Asian. I WILL have wavy hair, darn it.

    476 Heather Pina June 15, 2010 at 8:27 am

I have frizzy not curly and not straight hair.I desperatly need this!! I would want the Str8 ceramic iron and the curling iron!! fingers crossed!!

The thermal shiny str8 salon service would be very nice for my hair.

    478 Jessica G June 15, 2010 at 8:28 am

I would love to try the blowdryer that goes with the CTC straightener! I’m always looking for tools that make my hair look nicer, especially in this awful, humid summer weather.

Oh, do I hear you on the after drying my hair look. I would love to give the vent brush a spin. For those days when curling my hair under would be the right thing to do.

I think I’d also like to try any of their DeepShine products. My hair is not really shiny (something I attribute to the fact that I’m always tying it back, so you can’t really see it… which would change if I got a straight iron!)

    554 Erin June 15, 2010 at 9:31 am

Oh my gosh, I could totally use the id Luminating Lightener treatment because I’m an idiot and dyed my hair a temporary black (UGH! what was I thinking?!?) 6 months ago and it never washed out. I’m also a really poor grad student who can’t afford a $200 treatment for a lightening job. Sad days. I’m seriously missing my natural hair color – I swear never to dye again!

Your ‘after’ hair is so beautiful it doesn’t look real. I want unreal hair!
Mine is half wavy and half curly which is 100% stupid. I think my dryer is the culprit to making it bad when I blow it out, so I’d like to try the ceramic W8less dryer from Rusk. that and the Deepshine because my hair’s natural integrity went out the window in 1996.
    Thanks!

    559 Lildudesmama June 15, 2010 at 9:36 am

I would buy the w8less hairdryer and str8ener!

    584 Diane B. June 15, 2010 at 9:55 am

    EVERYTHING!

My hair used to be straight with great body, but after my girls (6 & almost 3) were born, it’s gotten curlier and curlier. It’s like aliens took over my hair. I also have a lot of hair (thanks Grandpa!) so it takes forever to blow dry. I would LOVE the W8less dryer so my arm doesn’t ache when I’m only half way done. The CTC styling brushes are mandatory to go with the dryer. I would also love to try the AnitCurl AntiFrizz product. When I do let my hair go curly I have breakage problems so I would also like to try the ProElements line of shampoos and conditioners to prevent breakage and increase strength. As long as I’m writing my wish list, for those times I want to tame the curl, I’d love to try their curling irons.

Heather, your hair looks phenomenal with their products and STR8 iron. If their curling line can do the same, then I want both the curly and straight items.

I spent big money in college on perms to get this curl and now that I have it naturally, I don’t want it! Probably because it’s too hard to make it uniform–curl underneath and fuzzy/frizzy straight on top. Grrrr! Rusk, save me from cutting my hair short and giving up!

    585 Rachel Whitten June 15, 2010 at 9:56 am

Aw man, they have some really cool stuff! I hadn’t ever heard of them before. I’m really interested in their w8less line of straightner and blow dryer.

    586 Marin D June 15, 2010 at 9:56 am

I want the W8less 2000 watt hairdryer. I need a new dryer and straightener. I just got my hair cut and it would be so cute if I had better tools to style it with. LOL. :o )

    591 Heather June 15, 2010 at 10:00 am

I would want a simple new hair brush. The one thing that seems to “fall apart” around here, yet never get replaced. That is until my hubby dropped it into the toliet & it started to absorb the lovely pee water! So I asked my daughters to use one of theirs! :o )

    592 Jenny June 15, 2010 at 10:00 am

Oh my goodness, the sexy hair! I WANT hair like that!! I’m in love with that straightener! I love the Go Green Eco-friendly dryer and straightener as well, what a cool concept! And man, the description of the curling iron makes me REALLY want to curl my hair! :)

What I need are the professional shears, so that every time I decide to take cutting my bangs into my own hands, I don’t hack them up with the same scissors I use to cut wrapping paper.

Your hair is soooooo long and beautiful. I wish Iwouldn’t have chopped mune off after the baby.

    595 Ginger June 15, 2010 at 10:02 am

The Sensories Calm Body Lotion looks really nice and I could definitely use the Delat Blade shears since I’ve been having to cut my wild toddlers hair with scrapbooking scissors.
The straightening iron does look awesome and if I ever wasn’t feeling lazy it would be great on my wavy/frizzy hair.

    596 Eve June 15, 2010 at 10:03 am

Hot rollers! I’ve been researching them for months and this brand looks awesome!

    598 Krystle June 15, 2010 at 10:05 am

I would love to have the hot rollers. I already have curly hair, so maybe that seems a little selfish to ask for, but I often like to give myself different curls and can never find the right rollers or curling iron! (so maybe the curling iron would do me justice as well!).

Love your hair in that second pic by the way! Looks amazing!

I would love to try their new Vibrant Colour Shampoo and Conditioner. It doesn’t seem to matter if I dye my hair at home, or go to the fanciest salon, my hair fades within a few weeks! Would love to try it. Also… I’m incredibly tempted by the sensory wellness calm body wash… I can picture it, lying in a bubble bath, relaxing, taking time for me… and then the baby starts crying and I snap back to reality. lol.

    611 Kristin June 15, 2010 at 10:17 am

I would get the “being” styling collection. My hair does not hold a curl for more than about 2 minutes, on a good day. From what I read, these products would definitely help in that department :)

    668 Kristyn Disponette June 15, 2010 at 11:24 am

Seriously? I would take any and all products they sell. Where do I start?

Well, I’ve got the frizzies-at all times. So, I need anti frizz products. Could use the Str8 iron…any and all proelements products…ceramic curling iron (I NEVER curl my hair, but apparently, all the stars get their look by “wrapping 2 inches of their hair around a ceramic curling iron” with those beautiful end results. I’d like that option!) And, the brushes would be great too. Again, those stars are using all the right brushes to get that “I just left the salon” look.

    676 Amy K June 15, 2010 at 11:31 am

I would like Don Wyatt to come to my house and fix my hair! Hey, he’s on their website so it counts, right?

    677 Adrienne June 15, 2010 at 11:32 am

I have the flattest, finest hair that lies lifeless, stringy, and gross at day’s end. I want to try their Thickr products and have beautiful hair full of life instead of the frog fur I have now. :(

    678 Sherry June 15, 2010 at 11:32 am

I would love a bottle of the shine shampoo and the cordless st8ning iron.

    679 Stacy June 15, 2010 at 11:32 am

I would LOVE to get this!! I straighten my hair almost every day and it NEVER looks that good. I’d also like the whole deepshine line…my hair is thick and course and in serious need of moisture. I have about a million half empty cheap products that i’ve tried, and nothing really helps. **crossing fingers that i win!!!**

    680 Sheenah June 15, 2010 at 11:32 am

I would love the Speed Freak ceramic dryer. Nothing drives me nuts more than blow drying my hair. I would love something fast that would cut down on the frizz.

I would love it all. My hair is naturally curly and is very difficult to straighten. I am always looking for new products to help.

    682 Julia B June 15, 2010 at 11:33 am

Ok, so this is perfect, as I recently discovered the amazing world of hair straightening. It’s hard to believe, but yes I have never straigthened my hair until a few weeks ago, and now I discovered that the hair straightener in my closet from 10 yrs ago(which I never used) doesn’t actually work like my hairdressers.

I also love on their site, Hot rollers, flat paddle brush, and the coral therapy looks cool. Help me please!!!

    683 BLP529 June 15, 2010 at 11:34 am

I would like to have the W8less 2000 watt professional blow dryer!!! But I would love to try any of their products. Your hair looks awesome! :)

    684 Dawn June 15, 2010 at 11:35 am

Any of the straigteners. I have a combo straightener/curling iron and keep telling myself to get separate ones.

    685 Christine June 15, 2010 at 11:36 am

I want Nancy Odell’s wild hairstyle and some of the green hair appliances.

    686 Jasmin June 15, 2010 at 11:37 am

Your hair looks fabulous. The before picture is not as bad as mine is after blow drying…think 10 times more volume. I think their W8less 2000 watt dryer would be a great combo to the flat iron.

    687 julia June 15, 2010 at 11:38 am

I would like their CTC Technology brushes, the ceramic curling iron, and the Being Sensible products.

I would also like the time to actually style my hair, rather than roughly grab it up into a messy bun/ponytail, but I didn’t see “More Spare Time” anywhere on their website.

Um hello, I totally want that str8 Iron!

    690 Devon June 15, 2010 at 11:45 am

I would love to try the Anticurl anti frizz treatment. My hair used to be naturally straight but ever since I had my babies it is very curly and frizzy. I wonder why that happens?

    691 RMC June 15, 2010 at 11:53 am

I am in desperate need of a hair dryer and straightener. Both of my died within a week of each other! My baby is due in 2.5 months and oh how I would love me some Rusk products before baby is here :)

    692 Shelley June 15, 2010 at 11:54 am

I would love to try…everything? I guess that is a little greedy though, haha! I am almost out of shampoo, so I think their corolla shampoo sounds really neat. I am pretty sure my blow drier is a hand-me-down from the late 80s so the w8less blow drier would be amazing to have!

    693 Jessica June 15, 2010 at 11:55 am

I would like to try out anything really, but a new hair dryer would be great!

    694 Leila Wills June 15, 2010 at 11:59 am

    695 Kate June 15, 2010 at 12:07 pm

the straight iron for sure! (crossing fingers)

    696 Rachel June 15, 2010 at 12:08 pm

I totally want the ceramic blow-dryer! My hair is cuh-ray-zee after I blow it out (it looks like a lions mane…not a good look). I would also like to try the SCREAM hair color stuff…because I have always wanted a wild hair color and have always been in school or working and couldn’t do it. I just graduated and am currently unemployed so I could totally do it now! (Temporarily, of course…)

    701 Theresa June 15, 2010 at 12:14 pm

My hair behaves exactly like yours in the before picture, so I guess I need whatever you’re now using. ;-)

I’d like to see a review of their hot rollers.

    702 Erica June 15, 2010 at 12:14 pm

704 Dianne in Cali! June 15, 2010 at 12:15 pm

Although I would first pick the CTC Str8 Iron since I have the worst frizz going on ever, My nect pick would be the healthy hair treatment since I feel like ever since I hit my 30′s my hair so unhealthy it is killing me! Have a great day and thanks for the opportunity!!!

    705 Tara June 15, 2010 at 12:15 pm

    So hot! ;)

My hair is curly, big and frizzy, so I’d love a new dryer, a wider flat iron than I already own, and one of those fancy ceramic curling irons. The “Go Green” line looks pretty cool.

    Thanks for a great giveaway!

I’m cursed with poof and would LOVE a Str8 iron. I have a dumb little Revlon thing now. It takes forever to use and is awkwardly designed.

    717 Pattie June 15, 2010 at 12:26 pm

    um, RAWR.

As it so happens, the product I want from Rusk is the Deepshine® Smooth Keratin Care Treatment. (like that registered sign I included? It’s because I am very pregnant and had to copy and paste it from the website because I kept forgetting what it was called between there and here).

I too have an obsession with hair products. I want the shiny shiny in my hair. Like Katie Holmes. How does she do it?

    Anyway- fingers crossed!!

    726 Karen June 15, 2010 at 12:36 pm

Well, I would love a new hair dryer, but what I really would need most are those shears! I cut my husband’s hair and that of my three boys, and I think my old drugstore shears aren’t “cutting” it anymore. Ha.

    727 Ashley June 15, 2010 at 12:39 pm

I want the ceramic curling iron. I never curl my hair because it gets frizzy but maybe I just need to be using a really expensive curling iron. Your hair looks beautiful!

    732 Julie June 15, 2010 at 12:43 pm

I can never afford to buy salon products, so actully anything from their line would be fine by me! And it has to smell good.

    733 Sunny June 15, 2010 at 12:47 pm

And definitely a CTC stylist brush… I can’t remember the last time I bought a new brush!

This is gonna sound contradictory but the CTC Str8 Iron and the Ceramic Curling Iron. My hair is wavy when it does it’s own thing so it needs help going either straight (blowing out never seems to really the job done) or going curly.

    790 LibraryGirl62 June 15, 2010 at 2:36 pm

    Sensories Wellness sounds heavenly :)
Throw in the curling iron and my hair might look normal

    791 cher June 15, 2010 at 2:42 pm

    792 lyzzette h June 15, 2010 at 2:43 pm

OOOHH I WOULD LOVE THEIR W8LESS IRON OR HAIR DRYER I WONDER IF THEY HAVE A DIFFUSER ATTACHMENT FOR MY CURLY HAIR?!

    793 sandy June 15, 2010 at 2:48 pm

W8less hair dryer and the products for fine hair

    794 Jen June 15, 2010 at 2:49 pm

Sensories Wellness Heal shampoo and conditioner, and the W8less Professional straight iron…

My hair suffers horribly during pregnancy, and now, being 4 months pp, it’s still dry, frizzy, and unhappy. Not to mention fallling out left, right and center :S. The W8less iron, I think I would have fun with that. I have a tendancy with ‘traditional’ irons to burn myself. Right in the middle of my forehead. It’s terribly pathetic, but never fails. There are pictures. They aren’t pretty.

    795 Becky June 15, 2010 at 2:50 pm

I love the ceramic curing iron!!!

    796 Mary June 15, 2010 at 2:50 pm

I would like to try the repair drops and the ceramic curling irons- in a small barrel. Beautiful hair by the way!

    797 Emma June 15, 2010 at 2:50 pm

I sort of fancy the curling irons, even if they do look like a gaint silver penis.

    798 lis June 15, 2010 at 2:51 pm

Love this! Definitely in need of some heal shampoo and the w8less blow dryer would be nice too.

    799 Kimh449 June 15, 2010 at 2:52 pm

Your hair looks great! I want that look, along with the following:
    - CTC Professional lightweight 1900 Wyatt Dryer
    - CTC Tech Hot Rollers
    - Rusk Thickr Collection b/c I have been blessed (?) with fine hair yo!

And so much more! Fingers crossed I win…….

    800 Lisa June 15, 2010 at 2:55 pm

I would totally love all the Sensories. I would have the cleanest hair in the state by the time I was done! And the Go Green with Rusk isn’t bad either :)

    801 Shivani June 15, 2010 at 3:01 pm

    Speed Freak Dryer.

    Thanks!

    802 Ray June 15, 2010 at 3:06 pm

I would love the ceramic curling iron:)

    807 Brooke June 15, 2010 at 3:08 pm

I would have to go with a curling iron. I’ve had mine since college and I am still trying to use it even though the clamp part of it is broken so I constantly burn my fingers trying to create waves in my boring hair. It occurs to me that even if I don’t win this giveaway, it may be time to spring for a new curling iron…

I am a huge fan of Rusk irons and had mine for over ten years before it finally bit it, so I would definitely want a new iron, and I’d love to try their ceramic curling iron.

I so need to win this.

    810 melissa_413 June 15, 2010 at 3:14 pm

I would want the CTC dryer to go with the straightener, and I think the Pro Elements line of shampoo and conditioner!

    811 Rebecca June 15, 2010 at 3:18 pm

You’re hair looks beautiful! I’d like to try one of their Heat Freak brushes. But all of their stuff looks amazing!

I could use a new set of hot rollers!

    814 Catherine June 15, 2010 at 3:31 pm

I would want the heat freak brush – sounds so cool! However, that would mean that I would have to blow dry my hair, which hasn’t happened much in the last 5 months. My little boy was born just before Annie, on January 15!

    815 laura June 15, 2010 at 3:31 pm

I want the speed freak pink dryer! I would love something that would make hairdrying much faster for me!

    816 Louise June 15, 2010 at 3:32 pm

I know I have absolutely no chance of winning but this is still fun! Things I’d like: the shears, because the handles look like they won’t bug my wrist when I’m messing with my wigs, and the vent brush – again, helpful with the wigs.
Louise´s last [type] ..And tomorrow is Monday.

I So want the Str8ner, my hair sucks after a good blow…dry

    821 Sarah June 15, 2010 at 3:42 pm

I would kill (well maybe not kill, but you know) for one of the w8less hair dryers. My own dryer crapped out on me a while back and since I’m too cheap to replace it I have to take a shower hours before I want to go somewhere so my hair can dry naturally lol. Some hot curlers would be bangin’ too.

    822 Alicia June 15, 2010 at 3:43 pm

The W8less hair dryer! I’ve only ever bought the cheap-o ones and it looks like it would be wonderful!

    823 Kayla N. June 15, 2010 at 3:49 pm

Any of the dryers and straighteners would be divine to me. My hair is naturally wavy and very thick, so it takes some pretty capable tools to handle my frizz!

    824 Linda June 15, 2010 at 3:50 pm

I would love to win this!! I also like the Keratin conditioner treatment on the Rusk website!

    833 Clemmiesmom June 15, 2010 at 4:12 pm

A ceramic lightweight hairdryer would brighten up my little life. Flames shot out of my old one and I threw it away. That’s what you do when flames shoot out of appliances, right?

    834 Leslie June 15, 2010 at 4:26 pm

I would love to get my hands on that straightener! My crazy wavy hair isn’t holding up too well with my 14.99 drugstore straightener. Aside from that, their line of “Being” hair products look fun!

    843 Kelly June 15, 2010 at 5:06 pm

I’m the type that hates to do ANYTHING to my hair – I’d prefer to brush and go!!! The Thermal Shiny Str8 (permanent straightening salon treatment) would be amazing… But, since that’s not going to be happening, the CTC Stra8 iron n yummy smelling salon shampoo would be great :)

There isn’t anything on the Rusk website that I wouldn’t love to try! I’d love to get my hands on one of the ceramic curling irons and one of their hair dryers.

    908 Kristin Hicks June 15, 2010 at 7:50 pm

I’d love the straightening iron that you tried out and one of their ceramic dryers. I have naturally curly, curly hair and like wearing it straight. It’s a lot of work though and I desperately would love some new products.

    909 Heather Wittman June 15, 2010 at 7:51 pm

The W8less hair dryer! My hair dryer sucks (seriously, it sucks up my hair– ouch)!!!

    910 Christine June 15, 2010 at 7:51 pm

The Ceramic Curling iron for sure!

    911 Michelle June 15, 2010 at 7:57 pm

I like the being line and would LOVE the rollers! What I really need is a pro cut and about a 4 hour lesson on what to do with my mess!!!

    912 Tammy Hunt June 15, 2010 at 7:57 pm

I would love anything from there! Really like the hotrollers and hairdryer, and always could use good products. As a mother of three, I do not get to pamper myself much so this would be AWESOME:)

    913 Annabelle June 15, 2010 at 7:58 pm

One of the light weight ceramic hair dryers. I work in a spa/salon and the stylists are always teaching me how to round brush/blow out my hair (I’m an Esthetician) and I have yet to invest in a good bloe drier…mine is heavy and not so fab.

    914 Emily June 15, 2010 at 8:03 pm

I want the W8less hair dryer.

    915 damaris June 15, 2010 at 8:06 pm

I don’t know why I even try there are hundreds of comments on here. You’re so pop. Must be because of your awesome hair.

O.K I REALLY want some of their conditioner please.

Hot rollers, hands down. (if i win the straight iron, gotta have the sexy wave/curl option, right?).

I love hair products, too… I like what I currently use, but would ::LOVE:: to be made a believer of RUSK products.

    917 Karen June 15, 2010 at 8:09 pm

Ohhh a ceramic dryer! I need a better dryer so badly.

    918 Amy June 15, 2010 at 8:11 pm

    You look awesome!!!
I would love the W8less dryer!!
    A girl can dream:)

    919 Jessi June 15, 2010 at 8:12 pm

I’d love to have a hair dryer. I’m currently using an $8 Walmart one which works fine and all, but it’s getting old and it’s certainly lost whatever “oomph” it once had.

    920 Kari June 15, 2010 at 8:13 pm

I would love the Ceramic hair dryer. I’d really love to know what it is about ceramic dryers/flat irons, etc. that are supposed to be so amazing, but I can’t afford to buy any to find out! And don’t feel so bad about your blow-dried hair–at least it doesn’t stick out like a straightened afro like mine!

    921 Cali Jen June 15, 2010 at 8:14 pm

I would love the w8less hairdryer. Even after lugging around a 30 lb 15 month old, I get tired from holding my hair dryer when I blow dry my hair. I think my wrists would appreciate the break!

    922 Tracy M June 15, 2010 at 8:14 pm

Oo the W8less looks amazing!! And the being sensible conditioner!

    923 racheal June 15, 2010 at 8:19 pm

the sensories collection sounds so relaxing..i’d love to try that! :)

    924 Elaina Caldwell June 15, 2010 at 8:20 pm

    925 Julia June 15, 2010 at 8:21 pm

The Deepshine Smooth hair treatment and
the Ceramic Lightweight Hairdryer, pretty please! And your hair – totally fabulous!

    926 juli June 15, 2010 at 8:21 pm

omg i want the CTC styling brushes, i have serious curly frizz going on over here in humidity h*ll. i look fantasic right after a shower but the very next day it is all bozo the clown over in these parts, tons of frizz and red hair to boot. should i try a new profession, a clown perhaps?

    927 melanie June 15, 2010 at 8:22 pm

i would love to try the hot rollers. i have been considering getting some for awhile now because i’m not sure i would even know how to put them in my hair!

    928 Susannah June 15, 2010 at 8:23 pm

    Oh.em.gee rad giveaway-
I am digging the CT whatever hair dryer-that thing looks fierce! I need a new one to replace my janky Vidal Sassoon one from 1993. Srsly. :D

    929 Sara June 15, 2010 at 8:24 pm

I would love the anticurl straightener! That would make my life sooo much easier.

    930 Brenda June 15, 2010 at 8:32 pm

I really could use the CTC Str8 Iron !

    931 Tamara Tobler June 15, 2010 at 8:34 pm

I would love a nice curling iron! I WOULD LOVE LOVE A NEW FLAT IRON!

    932 Stephanie June 15, 2010 at 8:37 pm

I would literally KILL for that straightener!!!

    933 Kristin June 15, 2010 at 8:42 pm

    Hot rollers, please!!

    936 Em June 15, 2010 at 8:45 pm

As I am a complete hair styling newb, I could use a ton of help. I like the W8less stuff since its supposedly light which would make it easier to handle. oh and the ceramic curling iron would be cool too because my hair does not keep a curl and it would be nice if that one worked! :)

    937 Ashley June 15, 2010 at 8:48 pm

The sensories healing products look fabulous! Anything to help my confused hair (sometimes it wants to be wavy, other days straight, most often it takes the easy road and just frizzes!)

    940 Julia June 15, 2010 at 9:02 pm

I think I just want about 15 of those straighteners…I can leave one at home, one in my car, one in my purse, one at my mums (the list goes on) I have the same spazzy straight hair that just isnt quite straight without some help!
Julia´s last [type] ..The big D

    942 Angie K June 15, 2010 at 9:07 pm

Any straightening iron would do but I LOVE the one you tried out. SO COOL!

    943 leslie June 15, 2010 at 9:16 pm

FLAT IRON! Seriously….just changed climates and my hair has TOTALLY not adjusted to the new home!

    944 Alicia June 15, 2010 at 9:23 pm

Wow your hair looks fantastic! THAT is what I need to happen to my hair!

    947 Adrienne June 15, 2010 at 9:28 pm

HELLO! Have you seen my hair?!

All their straightening gels and serums please!

Although when I straighten it you can see the gray more, LOL

    948 Kim J June 15, 2010 at 9:28 pm

I would love one of the ceramic curling irons. BTW your hair look fab..

    949 Kelly June 15, 2010 at 9:29 pm

Speed freak hair dryer… It seems to take so long to blow dry through my hair and with 2 kiddos sometimes dry hair isn’t an option. This one looks awesome and cuts the time in half!! :)

    950 Kelly June 15, 2010 at 9:38 pm

the speed freak hair dryer !!! I have five daughters, we could sure use it !!

    951 Amy June 15, 2010 at 9:44 pm

I have super fine hair (but a lot of it), which doesn’t like to listen to me, especially since I’m in Texas for the summer (I’m from the northeast). The designer collection thick spray looks like it could help me out, and since my hair is pin-straight like yours, I always love trying to make it curly every once in a while, and would love to give the hot rollers a shot, even if all they do is give my hair more body!

    952 Pam June 15, 2010 at 9:45 pm

Ceramic dryer or a curling iron. I would use the ceramic dryer to dry my hair before straightening (really bad curly hair here). The curling iron I would use on my daughter who actually wants to have curly hair but has very straight hair!

    Your hair looks fabulous!

    953 Stephanie June 15, 2010 at 9:45 pm

OMG! So many products! I think I’d want the Go Green with Rusk dryer, mostly because I am super curious about it. What a great giveaway!

    955 Heather June 15, 2010 at 9:51 pm

I would LOVE to try one of the ceramic hair dryers or curling irons. Also, would love the vent brush.

    956 Michelle June 15, 2010 at 9:55 pm

I would LOVE the ceramic curling iron and the Deepshine treatment!

    Love your blog!

    957 Brandy June 15, 2010 at 9:56 pm

i would so love the Ceramic Str8 Iron, CTC Styling brushes, AntiCurl ANTIFRIZZ, Thermal Shiny Str8. Pretty much nything to straighten super curly hair that is hard to manage.
    BTW, your hair looks amazing!

    958 nami June 15, 2010 at 9:59 pm

first off, i LOVE your hair. it’s so thick and silky!! personally, i think your ‘before’ shot looks awesome too.

looks like RUSK has some great products. i’d be so happy with anything. could use a new hair dryer and some thinning shears (and some TIME to actually spend on my locks!) :O)

    thanks!

    959 NancyC June 15, 2010 at 10:03 pm

I’d love the W8less hair dryer. I’m still using a cheap cheap version…

    960 Kelly June 15, 2010 at 10:07 pm

I would love the heat freak brush. I recently cut my hair short & now blow dry & straighten it so the brush would be great.

    961 ~A June 15, 2010 at 10:08 pm

I want the W8less Hair Dryer. My current dryer is full of fail. It makes scary noises when I’m brave enough to use it. However? A new Str8 iron would be awesome as well. My hair is naturally straight, looks likes yours after a wash/dry and freaks out at the slightest bit of humidity. It’s a mess right now…
~A´s last [type] ..Eleven months, one day

    962 Janina June 15, 2010 at 10:09 pm

I would LOVE the w8less dryer. My current dryer decides when it does or doesn’t want to ‘blow’…which makes for some interesting styles for work. I call it the ‘artistic’ look.
    :)

    963 Rachel Collins June 15, 2010 at 10:11 pm

The thickr products sound great for my fine hair!

    964 Jamie June 15, 2010 at 10:18 pm

    965 Jessica June 15, 2010 at 10:26 pm

    I like their “green” products.

And, your hair looks fricken awesome (after the straightener ;-) sorry. It honestly makes me wonder what mine would look like.

966 Erin from LA June 15, 2010 at 10:31 pm

CTC Str8 Iron for sure! my hair does exactly what yours does – I’ve learned to blow dry the night before hehe.

    967 Susan June 15, 2010 at 10:40 pm

I think my frizz-ball would appreciate the ceramic flat iron!!

    968 Just Shireen June 15, 2010 at 10:46 pm

    1023 Stacie June 16, 2010 at 8:30 am

    1024 jackie June 16, 2010 at 8:32 am

i would love the ceramic curling iron- i have never got the hang of using one, but that gorgeous machine would make me try. hard. :)

    1025 PunkRockChic June 16, 2010 at 8:53 am

I have naturally curly hair, so I’d love to try the w8less dryer. But i also love sporting silky straight hair so the flat iron would be wonderful!

    1026 Sheryl June 16, 2010 at 8:57 am

    1027 MissAujah June 16, 2010 at 9:06 am

Ohh OHh The hot rollers!!! That would be my pick. Enter me please!

    1028 LaurenR June 16, 2010 at 9:40 am

I would love the straightener or a new hairdryer. I am assuming a new one would work better than my ten year old one….. I also think the deepshine products would be great. I use rusk hair serum already…

    1029 Gabby June 16, 2010 at 9:46 am

I love your hair! and those products will do miracles to mine :(

p.s. Hi Annabel :) You are so cute!

The ctc styling brushes – the brushes I own now are just sad

    1031 Diane June 16, 2010 at 10:19 am

I would pick the W8less hair dryer… Mine is so heavy I have to take breaks while drying my hair.
And the flat iron would be a plus !

    1032 Kim June 16, 2010 at 10:30 am

I think the W8less dryer would be great! My arm always gets so tired with my current dryer trying to get this thick head of hair dry!

    1033 Alison June 16, 2010 at 10:34 am

Ceramic Curling Iron for the win! It would be awesome. Otherwise, just a collection of their fantastic products. Really, my hair needs help.

    1034 Lisa June 16, 2010 at 10:39 am

Funny, my hair looks very similar to yours after I blow dry it. Maybe part of the reason is because I’m using a $10 blow dryer I bought 15 years ago! I would love the W8less dryer, but the str8 iron would be beyond cool too. Also anything that would make me my hair thicker without weighing it down. =)

I would absolutely love to try the curling iron. My hair will not hold a curl if I threatened it with “the shears”. I can sleep in curlers for a week and a half, looks great as I take them out, I tousle them, still looking good, spray them, using just the right amount of hair spray, leave the house, check out my reflection in the window, hot!, get in the car, look in the car mirror, my beautiful curls are now a wavy, frizzy mess. That is exactly how it goes :)

I would love the W8less hair dryer and straightening iron. A lightweight hair dryer or iron would be awesome. The vent brush would be nice too. I’d also love the sensories grapefruit color protecting shampoo and conditioner.

Hair dryer! Always looking for a better hair dryer.

    1142 meredith June 17, 2010 at 7:17 am

any of the ceramic products look amazing! the curling iron, hairdryers & the str8 iron. i would looooooove any and all of them. :)

    1143 Jill June 17, 2010 at 7:18 am

I would LOVE the Str8 Iron. My current iron is 5 1/2 years old and is losing functionality, which is not good, as my hair is as curly and kinky as Macy Gray’s, only not as nice. I’d love to spend more time with my son in the morning and less time with my crazy, crazy hair :)

    1144 HumanGenome June 17, 2010 at 7:33 am

I have the worst hair in the world (perpetual bird’s nest), so I’d love anything to help with straightening and de-frizzing. The Thermal Shiny Str8 product looks good….

    1145 Gloria S. June 17, 2010 at 8:51 am

ANY of the Str8 Irons, Dryers, Brushes, sensory wellness products and any other products (shampoo, conditioner, etc…)

This curly hair needs serious help and specially now that I’m 30 weeks pregnant with my first (a girl!!!!)! ;)

I would love the coral therapy and the heat freak brushes. Rusk products are awesome. My hair has been addicted to “wired” for years.

    1148 Mary June 17, 2010 at 9:43 am

I’d also like the ceramic curling iron since my last curling iron disappeared mysteriously last year and I need one to make myself pretty for my friend’s wedding next weekend :-P

I have incredibly thick, slightly wavy hair that either requires lots of taming or is resigned to be in a ponytail.

The designer collection shampoos/conditioners look AHmazing and I’m drooling over the Ceramic Str8 Irons, but would be happy with ANYTHING from that website ;) – skb

ohhh I totally want the Dryer…..I have bad bad hair most days and would love any of it in addition to that Str8 flat iron.

    1151 Chantel June 17, 2010 at 11:21 am

I’m teaching myself how to blow dry with hair with a round brush. I’d love to try the Heat Freak brushes. They look like they’d help. And of course the Str8 Irons. :)
