I get asked to review a lot of things, but I only say yes to products that meet the following criteria: 1) it’s something I would actually use and tell my friends about, and 2) the company will give the product to one of my readers. I was thrilled when my buddies at Hewlett Packard asked me to review their HP Pavilion dm1 with AMD VISION Technology – and they said I could give one away, too!
This is a sweet little computer, you guys. It’s small like a netbook (it fits in the diaper bag and only weighs three pounds), but it has the power of a laptop.
This computer does everything I need it to do – process pictures, play music, and run all my social media programs – oh, and it does it while I’m blogging. Obviously I’m tech savvy, so to get a more “average Joe” opinion, I had my mom use it a few different times. Her observations:
“The computer moves very fast. It’s very lightweight and portable, which is great when I’m moving around for my eBay stuff or when I want to show Annie a video. The keyboard was easy on my arthritis, and scrolling on the touchpad was easy. The volume and brightness controls at the top are a revelation! Now I don’t have to go into the control panel! And did I mention how lightweight it is? I love that!”
It’s so fun if you read that in the voice of a lady from Boston. Even though she’s from LA.
A few things that are absolutely worth mentioning – up to 9.5 hours of battery life, a standard keyboard, and a built-in webcam. But easily the coolest (pun) thing the dm1 has is CoolSense technology. The laptop knows if the notebook is on your lap or the counter top and adjusts its temperature accordingly. No more burned laps!

We are starting the process of moving from Chicago to LA. All our friends and family are here in Chicago, and our desktop does not have a webcam. I would use the HP to video chat with family when we move, so my kids can still see Grandma and Grandpa even though we aren’t down the street anymore.
As a mom who’s getting ready to return to school next semester to begin work on a graduate degree in special education, we’re tightening up our budget big-time!!! We were able to become a big part of their lives again this past year, but they are in Kentucky and we live in northern Indiana so digital communications are a major lifeline for us. They are amazing kids and are my world along with my daughter). I would also use the laptop in our travel to see the kids to help me stay on top of things at home. I also have a five year old daughter who will be entering Kindergarten and I would be able to help her do educational games.

It does sound sweet. 9.5 hours of battery life! In fact, that’s why I’d most like this computer. The wires in the power cord on my current Toshiba have actually come out of their plastic casing, and I’ve had to tape them back in, multiple times. The battery only charges if the cord is held in a certain position. I don’t know how much longer till it kicks the bucket, so it’d be great to not have to worry about this anymore. I’d use the computer for Facebook, web surfing, occasional writing, um, playing Sims 3 (nerdy indulgence.) and of course reading this blog!

I just got a new laptop less than 2 weeks ago for my 30th birthday. But my husband thinks that it was really meant for him and has been using it every second he is home. There is constantly a baseball game on there along with his sports sites and it is logged in to his email. The photo editing that this was supposed to enable me to do more easily is not happening. So, I would use this as just MINE. Where I can edit MY photos, read MYdaily blogs and check MY emails. All MINE!
I dream of being able to look up recipies in my kitchen! I dream of being able to blog from downstairs. I would love to look up stuff on the internet when I see a commercial of it from my bedroom. Not totally noble dreams…. but dreams none-the-less. I’ve never had a laptop– and other expenses always come before this less needed item.
I would send the computer to my husband’s birth mother, Helena, because she lives in Ireland, and it would be so nice for them to be able to Skype, email, etc, and have a closer relationship.

Well since our relatively new Dell died (only 13 months old, we bought it last year) last week , and we had to buy a cheapy makeshift computer, I would totally love to win this one. Awesome news! I hate burned laps and heavy laptops. But most important, I would be able to carry this little laptop around with me when I run to the library, coffee shop, etc. to do my writing and grading. I hurt my back in a car accident and I can’t carry anything heavy (like my current laptop…grrr) so this would actually allow me to have a light-weight writing life rather than pulling a heavy wheeled backpack with me everywhere I go. It’s even gotten LOUDER over the winter as the Illinois weather wreaked havoc on the wheels. Some of my co-workers joke about how they hear me coming down the hall when I’m pulling the backback! I’d much rather be the object of their envy with my little HP than the butt of their jokes about my loud wheels…
I would use it to replace my hubbies broken computer! I have an HP laptop and love it (other than the occasional burnt lap due to heat something I worked around). I really do like HP.

I am a second grade teacher and I would use the laptop to write lesson plans, create cool presentations for my class, and to bring back and forth to my classroom. What a great way to implement technology at school. (We only have 3 desktops in the classroom currently.)

Aside from the standard social networking and watching way too many YouTube channels for my own good, I would use the computer for taking notes during classes because of its portability. No more back-breaking backpack with just one textbook and a laptop! No more hesitating about which notebook I should leave behind when I go to classes, especially with writing seminars (which require the use of a laptop every class period).

I would use this as a gift for my mother-in-law. She’s had a rough couple of years (divorced, lost house – the new American story?) that culminated in us moving away from her with our three kids to another state. She doesn’t have a computer and is just savvy enough to send me 10 chain mails each time she goes to the local library to check her mail .. but that’s about it. My kids, however, are very computer savvy and would love to be able to skype with their Grandma and would teach her the ways of a 5-year old across the internet.

I’m a law student. I’m a law student who is so hard on computers, you have no idea. I’m always on one (seriously, always), but the computer I currently have for school is small and clunky and horrible to use and I really struggle to get it to do what I want. LOVE it! I’m a nurse, our computers at work block many websites including natural remedies and alternative therapies website. Having such a light portable laptop in my bag would be much easier and faster than trying to look things up on my phone!
As a vet student, this computer would come in handy so much! Plus, if it’s durable, I can still have it when I graduate in three years and bring it into exam rooms to write records. It would be the perfect size!

Such a cute laptop! Well– I am graduating from college next week and I would use it to tote through all of the airports that I will be traveling through on my way to and from job interviews across the country! I’d be able to blog on the go, upload & edit pictures from anywhere– and it’d all be compact and hassle free!
I would use it to get through grad school. I am about 1/2 way through my MPH program and my computer crashes constantly. My 5.5 year old HP laptop is beyond ready to retire. It would be too cool to swap one HP for another HP. Great giveaway! My current laptop doesn’t recognize the battery, it hibernates every few minutes and sometimes more (randomly , so I lose what I’m working on), and it heats up to an intolerable level after less than 5 minutes. It’s awful! A new laptop would be amazing! We bought a house as a short sale 2 years ago and have been renovating it and working on it ever since. We’re finally at the point where we’re starting to gather photos to make a scrapbook of before and afters and a new laptop would help a great deal!!!

Everything. Our laptop (his name is Llama, thanks to our 3.5 year old daughter) is on his last legs. Missing a function key. Enter key randomly flips up at the worst times. Big chunk of plastic on the right corner completely gone. Battery is useless at this point. Overheats to the point of 3rd degree burns (okay, not that hot but still hot). Llama is a sad little trooper but I’m not sure there’s much fight left in him.
I’d definitely use this when I’m out and about: to access all my favorite bloggers/Youtuber’s pages. I’d also be using it for writing, because I love to write. In this case, type. Hehe.

I need this laptop! I am a new mommy and have no time to use my desktop. This laptop would allow me to log on anywhere and everywhere, perfect for mommies on the run!
It would the perfect size to take to the many meetings I record the minutes for. I prefer to type as they talk during meetings at the hospital where I work, editing as I go along with a nearly finished product at the end of the meeting. With it’s smaller size and weight it would be easily transported, but I do worry that it might distract the participants (bright shiny objects can be very distracting to the administrators – ha!).

If I won, I think I’d give to my amazing brother, who is a police officer specializing in domestic abuse cases. He’s also a retired Marine and I’m sure he’d use it to help him keep in contact with his brothers-in-arms, many of whom are on active-duty in scary places.
I’d use it for my family; we’re about to become a one-job, one-child family, and we’re going to have to drop cable. Having a netbook to show the occasionaly Yo Gabba Gabba video (while job-hunting on the other computer) would be _great_.
Being the youngest of three children, I am very well accustomed to hand-me-downs from my older siblings and my parents. Needless to say, I am on my SIXTH used laptop in 2 years and disabled at the ripe old age of 25! A Brand! New! Laptop! Would be a blessing!

I would use this fabulous laptop to get back online! The only time I get to be online is first thing in the morning before my children are up…after that they use it for homework, email, social networking and so on. I have too many kids and not enough computers! Sigh.

Ahhh! I need this computer!! I would use this computer to study for my nursing classes! I am a second-time college student who decieded to go back to school at 24 to get a nursing degree after getting a bachelor’s two years ago.
I’m getting married in August, nannying full time for a 7-month old and a 4 year old, and going to school online and in the evenings. Last month, my computer died so I’ve been going to the library using my fiances computer to studying and do my work. With my wedding coming up, we cant afford another one so we have been struggling!

I work at home and my 6 year old daughter is with me in the afternoons. While I sit at my desk with my laptop she sits at her desk and does crafts, colors and other things. I would set that little computer up on her desk and let her play on it. Then when the kids go to bed, I would have my own laptop and I wouldnt have to share with my husband!

Recently my computer died and I’m having to resort to using my Blackberry Torch or my work computer as I check blogs daily. I would really love to start writing more but without, it makes life a bit more frustrating for me and I’m not as much inclined to write a novel on my little qwerty keyboard…. Also, my husband has a mini lap top and honest to god, anytime I touch it he goes ballistic or insists on knowing every.single.thing. He has made the decision to go back to school after years of working, and I would love to give him to opportunity to have a laptop that he can use while he is relaxing after a long day of work to do all of his school work. Wow! I would die for a laptop. My husband’s job is moving us again temporarily far away from my family/friends for 18 months. In this economy you can’t say no. While I am not thrilled, at least he still has a job! We can bring very little so I can’t bring my desk top and since I am stuck in the 90′s still and do not own a lap top, I am a little screwed and been thinking I need a lap top to be able to keep our family in tune with our 2 little girls. I’ll be going into my last year of law school next year, and my current laptop is 5 years old and dying a slow death, but I can’t really afford to buy a new one so I just keep willing it to live. So far that’s worked, but I’m not sure how much longer sheer will will keep Stella alive (yes, I name my electronics). I would use this new one for my last year of school (since it’s so light it would be SO easy to transport, unlike the hulk I have now). I’d use it for strength training on my off days. Mondays and Wednesdays I tone up my legs by balancing my desk unit on my lap. Tuesdays and Thursdays I could prop this guy on my lap and not have to ice down afterward!

Recently my husband rested his laptop on the back of the couch. My 3 year old daughter was playing with our German Shepard and tried to get him to jump on the couch and lay with her. Wow, what wouldn’t I use this computer for…..I guess mostly I would use it to finally get up to date with all the pics of my little ones, finally get them into photo books, oh what a day that would be:)
I would use it for work. I have to work from home a lot and our desktop doesn’t offer much flexibility.
I would use it for convenience – couch surfing internet sessions floating through my mind.
Wow! I would use it on the go! Since it is so lightweight I could take it with me and just slip it in the diaper bag and not even worry about it being in the way!

I would use this computer for personal use (photo storage, reading blogs, etc.. I am a stay-at-home/work-from-home Mom of a three year old boy and a six month old girl. I have a work computer and a home desktop computer (that is a dinosaur). Because the desktop is so old, I choose to use my work computer for everything. This would be a great win for our family.

My girls destroyed my laptop. It only turns on occasionally and then you have to make sure it doesn’t move at all or it will shut off. A bunch of the keys were also removed by tiny fingers…

This computer would be perfect for my son who is in high school and going to be attending a career center in the fall. This would help him and I both be able to keep up with his grades and assignments since he will be going back and forth to two different schools. He has a learning disability so something like that would help him tremendously with the two different schedules he will have.

I would actually give the computer to my Sweet Hubby. We have 2 boys, 8 years old and 5 years old, and he has worked really hard to allow me to stay home with both of them ALL of their lives. He has a laptop for work, but a very old (and ahem…CHEAP) one for home use. My husband is finishing his PhD and we need a new laptop so it would be put to a great deal of use to write his thesis. Other than that, I’d use it to edit pictures. We’d both use it for travel since it’s so tiny.

Before you said to read your mom’s review in a Boston accent I already had. My grandmother is from the Boston area so as I read it I heard her voice.
I would give it to my mom because she has been wanting a computer like that for a year and a half now and neither of us can really afford to get it.
I would use this computer for oh so many things–talking and seeing my kids when I’m out of town (via the webcam), something that happens too frequently these days, I would actually start to update my blog on a regular basis, I would finally put together all the photo books that I want to do, I would write that book that I’ve been dying to write–Wow–so many things that I could and would use this for.

Well, considering my computer just got a virus and is in the process of dying, this would come in handy! My husband is in construction and uses our computer for typing estimates. My son likes to use it to play his Fisher Price Learning game and I use it for Facebook and blogs!
I would use this to show my 8 month old Elmo videos on You tube while sitting at my other two daughters’ softball games! Since its lightweight and will fit in the diaper bag, its perfect!
My husband is the computer savy person in our house. I would love to own this so that I could organize photos & videos and do just about anything with it without messing up how my husband has our home computer set up! I would offer this beautiful machine to superhero son, who asked for his own computer for Easter. LOL He does not realize his mother is a newspaper editor and his father, a timber buyer. My talented superhero son is a wannabe comic book illustrator, movie director, and most recently revealed he wants to learn the Chinese language after completing a school art project in which the class wrote a series of Chinese words, which greatly appealed to him. The HP pavilion dm1′s small size and portability features are big assets given that superhero son is just 8 years old.

I would use the computer to give to my sister who is currently a freshmen in college, studying nursing. We both are putting ourselves through school on our own, and she is working four jobs just to pay off her living expenses and tuition–which doesn’t leave too much extra money for anything else. Unfortunately for her, her computer just died, leaving her in a bit of a bind as far as homework and studying goes. If I could afford to get her one myself, I totally would, (dang student budget) as it would make the smartest and busiest person that I know breathe a little bit easier.

I would use this computer for everything! I am going to be a college graduate in about three weeks and my 2007 Dell is on its third hard drive, is as slow as molasses, and is no longer under warranty. I would use this computer to send in online job applications, look up addresses for invitations for my wedding later this summer, keep in touch with family and friends, and, of course, check out my favorite blogs such as “The Spohrs are Multiplying.” I would also use it for looking up recipes to make food to feed my future husband with and shop for birthday and Christmas presents for my family and friends. I just need a new computer because my old one is dying a very slow and painful death and I cannot afford to replace it at the moment.

We have one desk computer and two to four teenagers in the house. (We have hockey players that stay with us for the hockey seasons). So I (note the I) will use this since I can never get on the other one!
This would be our travel/children’s computer. Besides using it in the car, my daughter would have a place to play computer games when I want to check my email. It would probably also be used as a portable Wiggles player, knowing her.
I would use it to to replace the ancient desk-top I have been using. My son used the desktop while in grade school and is now in college using a laptop and “I inherited” his old one cause paying tuition and getting myself a laptop do not compute. My husband is constantly deployed. As in 5 years out of the last 11. He is about to go onto deployment #5 to the Middle East, so communication is key. Since it is a smaller, it would be perfect for my kids to have an electronic link to their dad, and not have to be linked up to my computer.

I would be passing this amazing computer along to my 16 year old son. He is an amazing athlete and it appears our life will be changing drastically next year. He has the opportunity to train with an amazing group but along with that comes a family sacrifice. He’d be traveling 4 hours a day not to mention the time spent training. He’d be using this computer to do schoolwork during his travel time because his education comes 1st.
I am the mother of 2 youngens (age 27 months and 13 months both low-birth weight and 1 later-preemie) and am crazy, but looking to be pregnant again. I was on bedrest with the second one for 8 weeks and gloriously made it to 36 weeks, but didn’t have a laptop, so my days were filled with America’s Next Top Model and the like. I would use this so I could keep up with social media and blogs and mainly keep my sanity during the next round of bedrest.
I would totally ditch the desktop….yes I still have a desktop! and I would use it for work and play and everything!
I would use this for my special needs children while we are waiting in the waiting room of doctors offices, we sometimes have up to 10 a week. It would be a nice distraction for them and make mom’s life easier.

2 years ago, when I was almost 38, I finally left the wrong relationship and froze my eggs in hopes of having a family some day with the right man. I moved into an adorable little apartment in Venice Beach that I picked out for myself. A few months later, my big, safe-yet-soul-sucking corporate sales company downsized and I was left without a job. Well, I volunteered for the severance package because I was misierable and needed to take this chance. Since then I have struggled with figuring out the right next move, made tons of progress in terms of discovering myself, making new friends, and letting go of the old “restrictive” me that was trying to fit in with the wrong life…and just this past week landed an awesome freelance marketing position with a phenomenal small business that I love. If I won this little guy, I would use it to trick out my “office” in my car so I could track accounts in between appointments. And it would make me so happy!!!

I am a co-founder of a nonprofit that puts the “non” in nonprofit. With two kids in school and a mortgage, his birthday won’t be the big bash I had dreamed I’d be able to throw him. Love this laptop! Have never owned, would use it for emails, work, school and to keep in touch with family who live away and my parents who live in-town, but I like to keep in touch with them through-out the day.

I’d use it for photo processing, as my only computer is a 9 year old desktop PC. A sturdy workhorse that has never let me down, but still, it’s slow as old people F#*&-ing. A shiny new portable computer would also let me get a website going for my photography-on-the-side projects, and give me a chance to expand my work. I would also taunt my best friend halfway across the country mercilessly as he is a bit of techie and has to have the new in-vogue gadget, and I rarely get to one-up him in that respect.
Our desktop is on it’s last leg and my son really needs something reliable for homework and projects….so I would give it to him.

My laptop died so I’m using my husband’s old laptop. It makes a snail look like a blur, so I would use a new laptop to work (and play!) more efficiently.
In a nutshell? A project spanning the 120-year photographic history of my family. It worried me to see dozens of photo albums stacked haphazardly in my parent’s house, so I started scanning the photos last spring.
In a longshell? The project took on some urgency last summer, after my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She passed away on New Year’s Eve, 2010. I managed to capture most of her side of the family and ask her about them prior to her passing, and a number of the photos that included her were used in the digital photo display at her memorial service. I’ve only recently been able to pick the project back up again, and the computer that I’m using is just really, really slow. I want to see the project through because I want to share this collection with my extended family.

I use my computer to organize my families old photos. My grandparents are writing a “photo memoir” and are completely computer illiterate, so really…I’m writing a photo memoir. My computer is super old and freezes up constantly, but I can’t afford a new one. Boo.
My husband is in school and would very much appreciate a new computer! I am so proud of him. When we met he had an attitude towards me in college and it amazes me to see how much being a dad and husband has helped him realize how important getting an education is and how much he has achieved in just the short time he has been back in school. I certainly wouldn’t want to start from scratch in college at 30… nor did I have the energy as a parent in college to really care about my grades as much as I should have. He has made straight A’s every semester! he is such a good example for my 12 year old.

I was just speaking to my husband about how I NEEDED a netbook/laptop! I can’t ever get to our computer, and with this baby so handy, I could pay those bills from the kitchen table while I feed our brood, SWEET!

I am a full-time student, and I commute to my college daily. My commute totals over four hours in both directions. My laptop is ancient, and accordingly, is absolutely gigantic, so I cannot carry it with me to my classes. On top of that, the battery is now no more, so unless I am within feet of an outlet, I am left lugging around a laptop-turned-brick. Having a lightweight, portable computer, one that I could easily carry along for my lengthy commute, would really be amazing.

Ummmm…I would use the laptop to be able to touch a computer before midnight when everyone else is in bed. With hubby using ours for work, teenager using it for homework/socializing, and little ones using it for games, I get very little “my turn to touch the computer” time. Nothing glamorous or life-altering, but it sounds pretty appealing to me.
I’d use the pc for keeping in touch with family.
This would be great to write scripts in the car (parked) while the baby naps. Huzzah.
I’m a graphic designer so my life is spent on a computer for the most part it seems. I would use a new computer to go mobile and take inspiration from everything I see. I’d also use it to keep in touch with my family and friends because with out them there is no use for life.
I have an older Mac (which I love) but a lightweight PC would be nice for applications that work better on a PC (like Quicken). A laptop that lightweight would also be nice to grab for meetings or the coffee shop.

I already have a great computer but I would love to give this one to my Mom…she has an old dell that has been on it’s last leg for months.
I’d use this computer to keep in touch while I travel… which I do 3 days a week for work! My work computer is seriously bare-bones and probably belongs in a museum somewhere, so having something that I can actually connect to the internet with and maybe, just maybe, skype with would be amazing!!

I would actually take time to upload the hundreds of pictures I have taken and make photo books out of them to preserve all these memories. My house was robbed when my youngest was 4 months and we lost pictures and videos and I kick myself every single day that I didn’t upload everything ;-(

My current laptop is old at 5 years and much too large! I have a nine year old and we are constantly on the go, go, go. Much of this involves me sitting and waiting while she does an activity. Oh… this little lappy would provide me sanity during these doldrums.

This little laptop looks fantastic. My husband owns a computer shop and we just got a new desktop before Christmas. So while I would LOVE to keep this for myself, I can truly say I would give it to my parents, who have a slow-as-can-be desktop computer that’s about 7-8 years old. Then they’ll have a great place to store pictures of their granddaughters. Plus, with the webcam feature, I can hopefully set up a Skype account for them, get my aunt to do the same, and then my mom can actually see her mother on a regular basis (whom she only gets to see a couple of times a year).

The long battery life, the portability, and the CoolSense technology really excite me! I live in Seattle and commute everywhere via public transit. I would pack it in my bag every morning and make it my constant companion. But I already know I would have to wrestle my 9 year old son for it first!
Since its that light it would be INCREDIBLY helpful to keep my family and friends updated during the 6 months I will be spending traveling and teaching in Africa. And the battery power will come in pretty handy too !!
Blogging, and homeschooling, and watching cooking shows in my kitchen, and taking on vacation to upload photos…oh I could think of a hundred reasons I need this! I love that it is only 3 lbs. Love it!
We live in TX and I would love to use this laptop for my kids to skype with my family in NY. We use a desktop PC now but the kids never stay in one spot long enough to actually see them. At least I could turn the camera towards them with the laptop.
I would use this for my school work! I’m transfering to UC Davis in the fall and I would love to have this to help me. You see pictures of lecture halls that are just a sea of laptops!
My laptop is on its last legs right now. About 3 months ago, my toddler went through a stage where she thought pulling keys off the laptop was the best. thing. ever. My laptop keyboard now looks like it has leprosy. Not only that, is my battery life lasts about 1 minute when not plugged in. Which brings me to the charger cable. It can’t be moved. If it comes unplugged or if it moves just a little bit, the laptop will stop charging. When it stops charging, it dies. So if if does die, I have to play with the cable until it will eventually start charging. I share my laptop with my 8-year-old daughter. She gets very annoyed when she is using the laptop and it turns off because she moved it a fraction of an inch. So, I would use it for my purposes (browsing the web, reading blogs, writing, etc). And my daughter would use it for her purposes (Monster High website, poptropica and whatever else she does).
If my husband would accept it, I would give it to him. My toddler got a glass of soda pop and spilled it all over his laptop. It died. He hasn’t had one since. But he is SUPER technical. He works in the IT field and has been really wanting a new one. The problem is, he wants to be able to run Linux on it, I don’ t know enough to know if he could dual boot this laptop. But that’s what I would do with it if we did win it! It would be full of possibilities!
Oooh cool! I’m starting school in September, so I’d use it to work on school work and blog stuff between classes!!

I would use it to replace the Dell Inspiron 1545 that the backlight DIED on! LOL It is currently teathered to an old CRT moniter via VGA cables! Help me put it out of its misery!
I would use it to edit photos. My current laptop is two years old–so about fifty in laptop years.
What a little beauty!! I would use this on my Red Cross deployments across the nation. It would give me the ability to access any and all information I need to provide services to disaster victims.
I leave in July for 6 months of military training and would use it to web cam with my brother and sister in-law to keep up on my adorable 7 month old twin nieces!
I would use it as a gift to my mom. She spends her winters down in Texas and her family stays in Minnesota. We all could then stay in contact with her by email and Skype.
As a special education teacher, I would use it to take to work with me for the kids to use. We need a computer that is light enough for kids with physical handicaps to carry as well as portable so they can take it into their general education setting.
I’d use it for on-the-go stuff, since my current laptop is a beast. It’s powerful, but it’s also heavy and bulky.

I would use the laptop so when my husband has to go on work trips, he can skype with the kids to say goodnight. He’s leaving for a week in a few weeks, and I know it’ll be hard on our two kids (2 year old and one year old) to not see their daddy for that long.
I recently became a single mom of 4 kids. I have been a stay at home mom for the last 5 years, and am now faced with the reality of having to go back to work! For me to find a good job I need to go back to school, so I would use the computer for that. To help better myself so I can in turn make life a little bit better for my kids.

I’d love to win a new laptop as mine is getting weighed down by a million pictures/music files, etc. If I were lucky enough to win I’d like to share my good fortune with Children’s Hospital of Oakland by donating my old (2009) laptop to one of their wards. I have a friend’s whose baby is there fighting (BEATING!) cancer and so I know how important it is for them to be able to communicate with the outside world. I would use this laptop for three major things. First, as a seminary student, I would use this laptop for my studies. Second, as I work in Children’s ministry, I would use this laptop for planning. Third, as a young adult, I would use this laptop for entertainment.
Ohh, I love my MacBook Pro, but it’s not always compatible with software from work. I’d love this little baby to carry back and forth to work with me — my lessons could be much less work!
