We are in Arizona for the annual Spohr Family trip. We haven’t been here since right before Maddie passed away. It’s…weird. Maddie isn’t here, but Annie and my niece Michaela are. So many mixed emotions.
I have been remembering all the wonderful times we had here with Maddie two years ago, and I have watched this video of Maddie with her older cousins a dozen times. They SO adored each other. Her laugh makes me smile and tear up. I think this was one of the greatest nights of Maddie’s life.
I hope Annie has just as much fun while we’re here.

I can imagine you would have a lot of mix emotions. I also watch video’s of Maddie through tear filled eyes. I wish more than anything she was there with you all. I look at her pictures and I miss her so much. I know that probably sounds a little weird since I never had the pleasure of meeting her but b/c of you and Mike and your memories, video’s and pictures I don’t know how ANYONE can NOT love your little girls!!!
I know it’s difficult but do try to have a good time and know Maddie’s amazing spirit is RIGHT THERE WITH YOU!!!
