I just don’t know if making videos like this will one day delight my child, or be used against me in a court of law.

I woke up this morning feeling a bit fragile, overwhelmed. I watched that little Maddie video. My eyes teared up. I think of the panic and anxiety you and your husband had to live through, watching her struggle to stay alive such a short while ago and how you probably couldn’t imagine the joy that would follow.
I am a bit tearful.
I feel joy for you.
She is beautiful. She is perfect.

I just started reading your blog a month or two ago. Just last week i read all posts from when Maddie was in the hospital. It was so hard to get through because i couldn’t imagine the pain your family felt back then.
Watching this video made me so incredibly happy. Maddie is a doll, and a miracle at that!
