in the famous Madeline, trying not to be wordy

Look, I have already established that I have no idea how to be wordless. But I’m going to do my best tonight.

Maddie went to her first college football game this past weekend. She wasn’t too impressed at first.

sleepy Mad

And really…if we’re being honest…she still wasn’t all that impressed a few hours later.

STILL sleepy

But then she heard there was a horsey…

Traveler

and suddenly things were looking up.

Maddie

She loved the band’s pre-game show, where they taught her how to spell,

USC Marching Band

and she thought the flyover was super-cool.

fly over

But her favorite parts came after the sun went down. It was cold, so she changed into jammies and socks, and tried to eat her foot.

feet - it's what's for dinner.

After she determined her foot wasn’t as tasty as she’d anticipated, she decided to make every graduate around her want a child by being too adorable for words.

HELLO!

If USC wasn’t already ranked number one, surely that last picture would put them over the top.

Honestly, she is unbearably cute. Tell the truth now–you’ve hired a tiny actress to play the part of Maddie, haven’t you? No baby is that adorable.

Who knew they made college sweatshirts so tiny? Better watch out or USC is going to steal her for their new mascot! She is just too cute!

They should put that last picture on the recruitment pamphlet. I’ve even got the caption ready for them:

The only thing that would make that photo cuter was if Maddie was in Oklahoma Sooners gear. That’s not true – NOTHING could be cuter than that picture!! Great pics!!

How fun! Was she seriously that well behaved the whole game? I am dying to take my little Nittany Lion to his first PSU game, but I’m just so nervous of how antsy he’ll get and how distracting he’ll be and how ticked off the rest of the people in the stands around us will be.

    Great pictures too!

That was a tough game to watch. I HATE HATE HATE Ohio State…. but I have a very hard time rooting for a Non-Big10 team. In the end, my hatred for OSU won over and I cheered and jumped as they were TROUNCED up and down the field.

OK, I am extremely jealous. I was just saying to my partner that I look forward to taking my son to one of my alma mater’s games some day. My problem is that we’re about 10,000 miles away, so probably best to wait until he’s aware of what’s going on.

Also, looks like both of our alma maters may be waiting til next year to play for the championship after a pretty disastrous weekend.
