I am a hair product junkie. My shower currently has six different kinds of shampoo and conditioner in our shower organizer (Mike just has room for one bottle, sad trombone). My products range from super expensive to affordable quality brands you can buy at the grocery or drug store.
A few weeks ago Dove asked me if I wanted to try their new Nourishing Oil Care Collection. Of course I said yes because HAIR PRODUCTS SQUEEE.
The complete line has a shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, a leave in conditioner, and a leave in nourishing oil serum. I’ve been using them for almost a month and my hair has been looking fab, if I do say so myself.
This stuff is awesome. It makes my hair smooth and shiny, and it combats summer frizz and limpness. If you Like the Dove Hair page on Facebook, you’ll get tons of quick and easy tips by Gretta Monahan to control your hair in the summer. I personally LOVE the oil serum. I squirt a quarter-sized dollop into my hand, rub both hands together, and then run my fingers through my hair while it’s still wet. It makes my hair smell amazing, and it’s soft and shiny whether I blow it dry or not. BONUS!
I am giving away the full hair-care line! YAY!
All you have to do is leave ONE comment below either telling me something you LIKE about your hair, or a hair tutorial request you have. The winner will be chosen by random.org. Contest ends on June 29th at Midnight PDT. Winner will be announced sometime on June 30th.
REQUIRED DISCLAIMER! Dove supplied me products to try, but all opinions are my own.
Good luck everyone!
UPDATED! We have a winner!
I love that with my longer hair if I wake up running a little late, I can just throw it up in a clip, fluff the bangs and out the door I go!
I have a hair tutorial request. I have VERY thick semi wavy hair that comes just below my chin in the front and gets shorter in the back. I want to put it up somehow. I can barely use the cute clips because my hair is so think and I can’t do any of the cute braids you pull off because my hair is too short. Help!
I would love a tutorial on how to deal with hair during the horrible growing it out process. I keep telling my husband that I’m going to grow mine out again, but I always end up getting frustrated and chopping it off!
I like the color and length of my hair. A few years ago I’d get compliments about it every single time I went out somewhere, but I haven’t gotten any recently. Stinkin’ autoimmune disease has me looking a little less fly and a lot more fly-aways.
Erin @ One Particular Kitchen says:
Do you have any blow drying tips? I just got a bob that looks fabulous with a blow out, and looks like little orphan Annie if I let it curl — which it really, really wants to do. I find, however, that I’m not very good at making it straight. School me!
Hannah Hawley says:
I love that my hair is wash and go. I can take the time to style it, but it isnt necessary.
I’m beginning to like and appreciate the wave my hair. Instead of constantly straightening it or putting it up, I’m starting to learn how to best maximize it’s natural body.
One thing I love about my hair is that it never gets split ends. I usually go at least a year or more between haircuts, and hairdressers are always amazed that my hair is still in such good ocndition
Tracy M. says:
I love that my hair is very versatile, I can just blow dry it and go and it looks ok most days
I love that my natural curl makes it easy to quickly do my hair in the morning.
I like that I have hair that I can wear both straight and curly. In the summer, I let it curl like crazy. In the dryer weather I can blow it out straight. I get the best of both worlds!
I’ve been growing my hair out for a while and I have to say thats my favorite thing about it right now…its finally LONG…and since having a baby 5 months ago I’m finally loosing some of the crazy hormonal pregnancy hair…I no longer look like Hermione from Harry Potter.
I love that I have naturally pretty curly hair that straightens WELL. It doesn’t hold an artificial curl to save its life, but it holds straightness. Even in the crazy Midwestern humidity! (Well. Mostly in the crazy Midwestern humidity.)
I love the color of my hair. It may have a few grays in there now, but I love getting the question “Is that your real hair color?” It is a very dark brown and I love it!
I love the fact that I have long, thick hair. It tends to get frizzy in this Florida humidity…so anything to combat that would be awesome! Right now I am loving my Moroccan Oil!
Alexis V says:
i love that my hair has natural waves/curls that look “beach wavy” or very curly (depending on the day) with little to no styling at all.
Christina vela says:
I love having long hair that’s pretty thick. It makes it versatile and fun to work with.
Marci P says:
RIght now, I like that my hair is short- I just cut off 10 inches on Friday and I feel so much lighter!
Heather P says:
I love the colour of my hair. I have never dyed it in my life, but it is this great caramel colour that gets natural highlights in the summer, with a hint of red.
I recently went to short
hair and I LOVE IT!!! I know it’s the right style for me because I get sooooo many compliments.
michele wallace says:
I would like a tutorial on how to style a side bang – (if that makes any sense). I have used Dove products – love em.
The best thing about my hair these days is my hair stylist!! I recently went short and I get SO many compliments on my hair! It’s easy to style, suits me … all the signs of a great haircut from someone who listens to me and has SKILLZ!!
I love that my hair has this little wave to it. It’s not a full blown curl, and it’s not pin straight and that’s exactly what I love about it.
I love how thick my hair is, without being huge. People who touch my ponytail always end up commenting on the fullness of it.
I’d love to try this hair line…. I have very fine, thin hair and it gets oily very fast, do you know if this shampoo will still be a good fit?
Need, need, need!! I have long-ish hair and I straighten it every 2-3 days. The ends are bad, bad, bad! I need something a little more “up-scale” to strengthen my hair.
Shannon O says:
I love that my hair always feels soft.
I like that my hair is on my head, that’s about it! But it does look cute in a ponytail, at least.
Iwould love a tutorial on long hair and what to do with it besides wearing it down or in a pony tail, which I do every day.
I love that my hair got curlier after having kids. The downside is the frizz that also came with it. These humid summer days are throwing me for a loop!!
I love the color of my hair. Dark brown with some natural highlights. Love that I don’t have to do anything to have that color.
I love that my hair doesn’t look like anyone else’s — it’s wavy/curly and pretty thick!
I’m a big fan of the “bang braid” that you showed us a while back! I do it all the time! If you have any other fun braid tutorials you can tape, I’m all ears!
I have always liked the color of my hair it is a very dark brown that some people would call black….but it is a great color of dark brown…and I adore my cut…I finally found a cut earlier this year that not only I love but get compliments on it often!
I love the color (dark brown with new red highlights) and thickness, but I don’t love how the right side curls forward or out instead of toward my chin. Would love help with that.
I love my grey hair. After it all fell out 10 years ago (chemo) I decided to leave it alone when it grew back in. It is grey, but still soft and shiny.
I love that my hair holds curls reeeaaallly well without having to overdue it with a curling product.
I would love a tutorial on how to do a good up-do with adding lots if texture to it so it’s not so ordinary looking.
I like that I was able to stop pulling out my hair and enjoy the curls that surprised me when my hair finally started growing back.
I dyed my hair dark a few months ago, and it honestly depressed me. I recently got some highlights and I looove it again. With the blonde in my hair I am learning to love my curls again! BTW your hair always looks amazing.
I would love to know how to do a quick, but fun way to do my hair for work in the morning when I’m running late. I do the bang braid’s (which my boyfriend loves b/c he calls them my Princess Leia hair) but I need something fresh!
Bailey g says:
I need more short hair advice. I recently donated 11inches of hair to locks of love and don’t know what to do with it!
I would love a tutorial on how to manage hair when there is high humidity. I look like Captain Caveman!!!
I love my hair color – red but with lots of different shades…I love that my natural color is way more interesting than highlights could every be!
I love having curly hair most of the time cause I can just shower and go! Very helpful in the mornings
I like that my hair is short and curly. I just wish it was less frizzy!
Charlotte Anne says:
I love the natural highlights that my hair has!
A Little Coffee says:
Great giveaway! I love that my (very cooperative) hair can be washed, dried and styled at night and then I can go to sleep, and it’ll still look the way I styled it when I wake up in the morning. Saves me at least half an hour in the morning.
OMG firstly I love Dove products. But honestly I would love to know how to have my hair down and to have it look good all day because frankly it doesn’t! I brush it like crazy and within about 40 minutes it looks like it did when i woke up! There are scraggly hair pieces all over the place and it doesn’t even look well brushed. HELP!
I love the color of my hair! I get asked all the time if it is my natural color and yes it is! I haven’t highlighted it since I was 11 when everyone was getting highlights and I thought I wanted them too.
i love my red hair, but need frizzy-ness help!
I personally love the color of my hair a tad bit gingery but who doesn’t love a good ginger? The unique color is a perfect blend of blonde and red that completely fits my personality and style its worth all the ginger jokes and nicknames I receive.. ha plus I still totally have a soul!
About the only thing I love about my hair is that it’s super long and generally pretty shiny. Thanks to the wad of cash I throw down at the salon every few weeks the color isn’t all that bad either. Admitedly, I severely deficient in hair products for someone that likes to spend cash as much as I do. I think with the right guidance these products might just open the flood gates for more fun purchases!
I like how soft my hair is.
I love that I have hair – I was sick a few years ago and lost a lot of it to malnutrition. It’s still not thick but it’s there and starting to grow back – little whispy hair on my hairline tells me so.
I love that I don’t have to wash my hair every day. When it’s straight, the next day, it is sleeker . When it’s curly, the next day is a beach wave look.
I would like a tutorial on doing my daughter’s hair. I can pull off a basic braid, but would love to do some of the fancy french braiding stuff. Her hair is thin and fine and she is five, so I guess something that can be done while I am chasing her down?
Everyone asks me who does my color/highlights…I don’t have color or highlights – it’s all natural and most people don’t believe me! I love my hair!
I like the color of my hair. Lots of shades of blonde, with a few really dark strands mixed in there too. A guy once told me my hair was the color of corn (the plant when it dries, not the part you eat!), and, well, I’m a farm girl, so I was totally happy with that compliment.
Love it! I like my hair length-that’s about it!
I love that in the summer, I can let my hair air dry and it gets wavy and awesome. I need to move somewhere warm so I can do this all year long.
Emily Barnes says:
I love that my hair looks better when I *haven’t* brushed it for a couple days!
I love my hair color even though it has darkened with age and snuck in a few grays. I also love my wavy hair, but I wish I new how to keep it looking fresh all day.
Crazy thick curly hair on a white girl needs some good shampoo to combat frizz.
I love that my hair has plenty of body!
I also wish that I KNEW how to spell check before I hit submit!
Stephanie M says:
All hair tutorials are great! More please!!!
It is kind of hard for me to like anything about my hair right now…so I would love to see a tutorial on defrizzing it or how to make it look thicker?
I like that my hair is so easy to care for. (minus its little conditioner fetish, it seriously eats that stuff like candy) But I can just fluff it a little with a blow dryer, and out the door I go! Seriously awesome.
I love that my hair is easy to grow out!
I like that my hair is think!
I want the dove line!! please pick me!
i have a hair question – can you go over how to use a curling iron? do you use product beforehand, do you brush the curls out? how much hair do you curl at once?
i always end up looking like a pageant queen – which is not the look I am going for!
I love my natural blonde highlights. I also like throwing it up in a bun and going.
I love that my hair is so curly that when I really don’t want to (have the energy to or am just plain too lazy to) I can just let it be, dry naturally and it still looks ok.
Of course 90% of the time it still goes up in a ponytail lol….live in stylist anyone?
I love having thick long hair but it’s a lot of work to style everyday. I am always looking for quick easy ideas to dress up the same boring ponytail that I always end up with.
Best hair trick to curl naturally wavy hair – alternate between curling one strand in and the next out. It will give your hair much more definition and look more natural and bouncy!
I love that my hair can be wavy one day and straight the next. I never know what my hair will look like from one day to the day. Totally depends on the weather and what my hair feels like doing.
I like that it’s curly =)
I love my thick, naturally curly hair. Everyday is a wash n go day for me!
Putting in my request for an easy chignon, if such a thing exists! xx
I love how long my hair has grown. It’s thick and mostly straight and it holds the smell of my hair products for a long time.
I used to love my hair. The color, the length, how easy it was. Then I had two kids, tons of it fell out and it just did not grow back the same. So I would love to try something/anything that might help. I need basic hair help, like how to blowdry it or how to brush it or how to find a hairstyle that requires no work.
I would love a tutorial on how to keep my mid-length hair off my face. It hits just below my ears, and I’m trying to grow it out, but it keeps getting annoying.
I like that my hair is wild and unruly, much like I enjoy wearing colorful socks that clash with whatever I’m wearing. It goes against the grain at my somewhat uptight office.
I love that my hair is fairly versitile. I can straighten it, or just let it dry and it is wavy. I’m learning to like my hair more, since I used to really hate it. It is also weird how my hair changed from one pregnancy to the next. It is as curly/wavy as it has ever been, but after my second, it was more straight (although never really straight).
I like that my hair is curly which causes loads of people with straight hair to tell me how much they wish they had curly hair. I just wish I could banish the frizz for good!
I love my curly hair – I used to hate it, but now that I’ve figured out what to do with it, it’s great!
I love that my stick straight hair has a natural “flip” at the end of it…..but only the right side of my head. Whatever, I’ll take it!
I like the length of my hair. It took forever to grow it out but it is fun to have it long again.
I would like to see a tutorial on avoiding tangles–for my 10-year-old daughter
Kathy C says:
LUV the energize shampoo and conditioner. Smells so good!
I love my brown hair..it is long and thick and curly….its falling right now..so i need to take care of it!
I love my hair colour. I spent most of my teen years dying it, but I’ve since come to embrace the brunette!
Kris Kalinock says:
Love my chemically straightened hair!!!
Kaye Siders says:
I would love to know how to make long wavy curls in my stick straight, thick shoulder length hair…I’m trying to do it with my curling iron, but can’t quite get it to look the way I want it to.
vickie couturier says:
I like the fact that I dont use a dryer to dry my hair cause it dries really fast on its own
Hm…. I guess I like how my hair has a *little* bit of a curl! It’s thick, and not stick-straight
Melisa Shen says:
I have finally grown to like my thick, part wavy, part straight hair but it’s taken nearly 30 years. I would love some tips on other ways to wear very thick hair other than straight/down or in a pony tail. I love the front braid tutorial. Any other ideas? I would love a quick and easy up-do but can never get it to stay up myself because of the weight of it. Bobby pins don’t cut it! Thanks!
angelene fortunare says:
Hmmmm I love that it is think and healthy
Jeanne H says:
I love that when I have my golden brown hair colored to cover the grays, the grays pickup less color and it looks like natural highlights, without the cost of foiling.
I love that when I fall asleep with wet hair (hate blow drying) that when I wake up, my hair will be a little bit curly. This has only been happening since after my son was born, but I love it! I also love that it grows fast because I like to grow it out and then donate it to Locks for Love.
I like that my hair has a little bit of wave to it.
i love that my hair, which is insanely curly, curls in a different way every day. sometimes its perfect spirals, others its messy beachy curls.
Heather, when french braiding (in double braids) a little girl’s hair, how would you avoid all the bumps so that it looks smooth? I run out of fingers when trying to keep the strands separate. (Note: I braid it when it’s freshly washed/wet so that I can get it in tighter so it stays in longer).
The one thing I love about my hair is the color-I’ve never color-treated. I would love a tutorial or some product ideas on taming the frizz of thick hair
I am loving the length my hair is finally reaching. Waiting for my *feather* bangs to grow out has taken eons. But, we are finally getting there.
I also love that even though I am getting grey hairs, they are so shiny and pretty….gossamer-esque.
I will have to watch for this product line. Thank you for the review.
I love that my hair does what I want it to do. My sister calls it “Magic hair” (our mom has it, too.)
I hate the frizz in my hair. I do like that I am able to straighten it and it looks better but would love a product that would allow me to not have to use heat to destroy my hair!
I have very curly hair. And I have to say the one thing I like about it is that it is pretty low maintenance.
I love my hair’s length but wish it was less brittle and frizzy…also gets really oily At the scalp if I leave a day between showers…
I dont like the frizz in my hair, I love the natural curl it now has but humid hot weather makes it frizz! Would def look into trying the Dove line
What I would like to see in a tutorial is some sort of funky/fancy ponytail…I wear my hair up often in a normal ponytail, and I’d like to try something simple like a ponytail, but it to have some sort of wow factor to make all of the other stay at home moms jealous!
Tips for fast and sophisticated looks for work! I’m always running late and anything quick and easy would be helpful!
I love my hair color It’s got blond, red, and light brown-all naturally. I’ve had hair dressers ask how I got it colored like that!
Mel J. says:
I would love this. I am a breast cancer survivor and so very blessed to have my hair back again!!! I had long, thick, curly hair before I lost it and now, it is wavy, shorter and thinner. I usually just pull it back into a ponytail, but it’s so dry I would love to try something different on it like the oil.
I actually like that my hair is curly, well more wavy than curly but still not straight
I could really use this. My haircare routine currently consists of wash and pull into a ponytail. Easy, but not always pretty
I like that my hair will have curls if I put it up in a bun.. people ask me sometimes if I use a curling iron, but nope! just natural from being up in a bun. Pretty sweet for when I don’t have time to style or straighten
Helene H. says:
I need a tutorial on how to deal with fine, oily hair. I’m pregnant and instead of more lusterous locks, they have gotten greasier! lol
I love how thick my hair is…until summer where is is over 100 every day!
Barbara HIll says:
I like that my hair has just enough natural wave for me to be able to skip blow drying most morning.
not so much a tutorial but I’d love your opinion on what type of hairstyle to get, I hate maintnance and when I pull it back I get little curls all around the edges. I braid it a lot and my daughter was able to do the loom braid using your tips, but I just don’t know what to do with it.
I have super curly, super thick hair! Its hard to find a product that really delivers so any advice on what works as far as fighting frizz is appreciated!
Sara R. says:
I like that my hair is curly! It took me quite awhile to make friends with it, but now that I’ve learned how to work with it instead of against it I really like it.
I love that my hair is now super short! I have always wanted to go short, but was too scared. Love it, should have done it a lot sooner.
Amber T says:
I have a request! Teach me how to do piggie tales without looking like a MORon,
Yea hair care!
I love that my hair has a really good hairdresser!!
I love the thickness of my hair.
I wish my hair was either curly or straight. It won’t make up its mind! It’s just sort of fluffy and wavy I think I’ll try that Dove oil serum you were talking about
I just lopped off about six inches of my hair, leaving it shoulder length and it’s so much quicker and easier! I love the color I’ve finally settled on, it’s close to my used to be (before gray…grrr) natural color but has some vavavoom!
hi hetather, im still in treatment for breast cancer and althoiugh i havent lost my hair (yeah!!) it has thinned quite a bity. any suggestions on making it look fuller?
I have a head full of ringlet curls (all natural) and I love them!
I’m terrible at doing my own hair so any and all hair tutorials are good! The braid in the front tutorial from way back inspired me to start trying new hair styles
I like that the little bits of gray in my extremely short hair look like little silver sparkly bits. (Seriously. I won’t dye my hair for lots of reasons, and I’m sure at some point the gray will look less than ideal, but right now it’s as though someone put little bits of pretty glitter in my hair.
I’m going to have to try that line! I have yet to settle on something that covers all the hair bases for me, and that sounds like it just might!
I like how thick and healthy my hair is.
Pieces of a Sometimes Extraordinary Life says:
Okay, here’s a hair question…My hair is long and slightly wavy, and it starts out looking fine whether I blow it dry or just let it dry naturally. But in the summer, inevitably after a few hours it starts frizzing up and looking completely unkempt. I’ve tried using styling products, the type you comb in while your hair’s still wet, but they don’t really tame the frizz that shows up later on. Is there anything I can use to either keep from frizzing or calm my hair down after?
I would like to see a hair tutorial with twists. I have naturally curly hair and love the fact it is easy to run with just about any day but I am always looking for something to do with it.
I like my curly hair! So easy to wash and go!
I love how thick my hair gets when I am pregnant. And I would love to know how to do a fish tail braid
I have super long, super THICK hair. What can I do with it in the summer to avoid having it feel so heavy? I’d really like to donate again (this would be a third time) so I’m trying to grow it out again.
I love that my hair is naturally blond!
I love how wavy my hair gets without frizzing out too bad, just wish I could trudge through the growing out process!
Angie K says:
I love that I have wash and wear hair but I would LOVE something to help make it shinier and smoother!
I like that my hair is naturally dark brown. It looks good without hilights or any other kind of coloring…which is great because I can put the money I save towards straightening treatments!!!
I love the texture of my gray (white really) hair. After a lifetime of super straight hair, it now has some wave.
I like my hair because it holds a curl very well, I just wish I knew how to do more with it then wear it down or in an pony-tail!
Lisa g says:
I love that my hair is super thick. It is wonderful!
Debbie Z says:
I love the natural color of my hair. I have been lucky enough not to get any unwanted hair color changes just yet.
I love that I have some natural wave that I can maximize when I want to (like your Beach Hair tutorial in fact.) Also that it is easy to throw up in a bun when I am too lazy to comb it
I love that my hair is naturally auburn, and I love that it straightens easily but also has a natural wave if I want to not blow dry it.
I like that my hair is really soft lately. It is flyaway and crazy but soft *heh*
I like the color of my hair right now…I am not happy with the length of my hair…I am at a point where I need to decide if am going to grow it out or cut it off.
What I love about my hair is that it is still silky baby soft even in my twenties!
My hair goes curly on rainy days…I love it!
I love when my hair is long and I can straighten it and it doesn’t get frizzy!
Katie Gonzalez says:
I spent tons of money bleaching and dyeing my hair in school and eventually chopped it all off and have let it grow back it’s natural color. I have to say– I LOVE THE COLOR NOW. Natural highlights and all. I wish I had never dyed it!
I love that I have virgin hair, never colored, never permed. Unique, no?
I would love a hair tutorial for medium length hair!! I would also love to try me some new hair products ;D (I also have a shower full of various shampoos and conditioners lining every ledge of the tub)
i love that my hair is long and thick and i can just throw it back into a ponytail for the day:)
I’m pretty hard pressed to find something that I like about my hair and that is probably why I need this Dove prize. But since I think I might like the fact that it’s usually very straight and the frizzies can be tamed with some mild work I’m going to go with that…………and the fact that I actually HAVE hair. That’s nice.
I’d also like to see you do stuff with Annie’s hair. Pretty little girl styles.
I have crazy thick hair. Seriously, I could lose half my hair and still have above the average amount. I love it in winter, in a scorching southwest summer…not so much!
Tiffany G says:
My hair is completely straight and looks fabulous without a flat iron!
My hair tutorial request: loose/messy buns. I suck at throwing my hair back in that messy way that other women seem to do without a thought!
I like that my hair grew long enough for me to donate to Locks of Love!
Would love tips on how to blow dry my hair straight. My stylist always does a great job, and I can never replicate it.
I loved the tip on beach hair, would love to learn better ways to curl my hair….hot rollers? What is good to use for oily hair? Wash it in the monring looks greasy by late night….must wash daily!!! Boooo (actually i don’t know that i couldn’t shower daily….humm)
I like the color of my hair. In the sunlight it looks almost Golden!
I have uneven curly, frizzy hair. Summer is no bueno!
I love that my hair can be played up or down really easily. I’m big on putting it up in a bun in the summer to keep it off my neck, or leaving it down when I’m feeling sassy. I love that it looks half decent if I decide to let it air dry rather than use the blow dryer & flat iron on it occasionally.
I love that I have naturally blonde hair!
I love that I can wear my hair beach wavy when I’m lazy yet a flat iron transforms it easily into glossy perfection that and the length.
I love that my hair is thicker heavier hair unlike some of my siblings. I can do almost anything with it. Now I’m just trying to get it past the “in between” stage. This line of products looks awesome as I do have frizz/fly away issues.
Love to try this product that will keep my frizzy hair under control in the summer!
Casie C. says:
I like that in the summer I can let my hair air dry and it looks fine (still stick straight, but at least it’s not crazy wild after air-drying!)
Angie Elliott says:
Oh Heather, I need a tutorial on how to deal with my hair during this horrible growing out phase!!!!!!
I love that my hair is naturally curly. If I want I can have curly hair one day or straight the next. My hubby loves it too! And anything that can combat frizz is a plus! And winning on the 29th would be a great b-day present too! LOL
kris (lower case) says:
i have hair…a real plus……
I love that recently I learned how to make my super straight, thick hair nice and pretty wavy. Curl from the roots, not the tips!
I like that with the right smoothing serum, my hair can be super soft and shiny. Hopefully the Dove line will be a new favorite!
I love that my hair is super soft. I love that my hair looks perfect hair north of the Mason/Dixon line. Sadly, I currently live way south of this line and need all of the help that I can get!
You have super long hair tutorials and super short (length I mean). How about a tutorial for us in between girls, chin lengthish? Love the tutorials though! I love the bang braid!
I love that my hair grows quickly, so that when I get a mediocre cut, I only have to live with it for a few weeks!
I love my long blonde locks, but have been looking for something to really give my hair some great shine and a more healthier look from keeping it so blonde for, oh…12 years or so!
I love that my hair has a natural wave so I never have to fuss with it, just comb and go.
Latoya Gordon says:
I love my short hair cut…I think it makes me look like halle berry.
I love that my hair is super thick and I can do anything with it!!!
I love that my hair has natural highlights!
I love it when I am outside how my hair turns to a golden brown.
Allison Y. says:
Sounds nice, I love that my hair is long and straight.
I love that my hair is naturally blonde and turns into such a pretty color when I’m outside in the sun more in summer.
i love how my hair smells when it’s been freshly washed.
I desperately need a good blowdry tutorial! I feel like such a klutz with a big round brush. Or using a flatiron to curl hair. Style me, baby!
currently, there’s little love between me and the hair. i’ve a set of misbehaving bangs. i’ll take any tutorial that addresses how to get them to behave.
I love that my hair is long!! I occasionaly dream of having a cute short hair style, but I will not bring myself to chop off my locks. It’s so easy to do things with long hair!!!
I love the fact that I finally found a hairstyle I love after years of the same stlye (or lack thereof)
The flexibility of my hair – I have natural curls – so most days I just “wash & wear” it – but if I’m sick of that I can just blowdry it straight – no need for special products LOL
the length – it’s down to my waist, so there’s so much i can do with it. but let’s just say that serum oil sounds like exactly what i need and i’d love to try it!
I love that I can grow my hair long. I love having it long for a while then I chop it off and donate it. This will be my third time donating it!
Sarah G says:
I lovee that my hair is wavy now and not stick straight.
Kristin Bagley says:
I have always bought my hair products at the supermarket… no fancy salon products over here! Whenever I get my hair done, the stylist says, “WHAT are you using? Your hair is so healthy!” I love telling them about my bargains Dove soap is the only soap I will use. It’s the only soap that doesn’t irritate my skin. I can’t wait to try these products!
I love my hair after a good haircut. I go from hating on my hair thinking i have the worst head of locks around to thinking my hair is the bees knees. All because of a much needed haircut.
Leigh Elliott says:
I love how my hair will let me curl it and tease it constantly and it forgives me for the wrongs that I do to it. I have VERY straight hair but if I feel like I need curls for the day, my hair will usually go along with my intentions. Usually.
I love that my short hair needs to be trimmed every 5 weeks. It is version of therapy!
my hair is SUPER curly and can get frizzy
I am not a fan
I love that my hair is thick and grows fairly quickly. I usually wear it long and it’s pretty convenient to know it will grow back soon if I end up with a cut I don’t like. It’s also naturally red with some blondish highlights so it’s fun to see in the sun.
I love my crazy curls.
I have the same hair product addiction!!! I love trying new stuff! and Florida humidity….. fuhgetaboutit!!!
I love my hair color.
I love how fast my hair grows!
I love that I have really thick hair that tends to do whatever a STYLIST wants it to do. Now for me, nada. LOL
After 32 years I’m FINALLY learning to like my hair. It’s naturally curly and all my life I’ve been fighting it and trying to keep it straight. Now I’m embracing the curl and enjoying all I can do with it!!
I love that my hair is red with all kinds of blonde highlights and that it’s my natural color.
I like the length of my hair.
Soooo…I love that I have super thick hair with tons of body. I would love this a lot more if it were still 1986 and big hair was in. I need hair help. Yesterday morning (and this is absolutely no exaggeration) I woke up to dry, straw like hair from the chlorine in my pool. So, I used two eggs and four tablespoons of olive oil on my hair. I let that sit for fifteen minutes. Then, I washed and deep conditioned. Then I got out of the shower and used a handful of agadir oil on my hair and wrap it in a towel. Then, I used another handful before blowing it dry. The end result, you totally could not tell that I had approximately 8 tablespoons of oil on my hair. THAT is how dry my hair is. I saw the Dove commercials yesterday afternoon and wondered about how the product worked. Because, really? No one should be using 8 tablespoons of oil for anything but frying. I’m just sayin’.
I love my natural curl. I basically just wash, brush, and go!
Dead ends after dead ends. Please help.
I need something to help my hair be less frizzy in the humidity of the summer!
I love that my hair grows quickly. It makes it so much easier to be willing to try new styles!
When I was younger I hated having naturally wavy hair, but now it is wonderful being able to just shower and go! It is wonderful receiving compliments when I haven’t even done anything!
Love that I can now wear my hair without blow-drying!
I love that my hair is naturally curly……but if I want to wear it straight I can do that too!!
I love the color of my hair, brownish black, and that it’s finally long enough to throw up in a ponytail when it’s hot out!
I really need something for my hair. It changes all the time and drives me crazy! Right now it is so dry and frizzy so I hope I win!!
I actually like the natural color of my hair. Was paying $$$ to get it colored and then realized I always like my own color better. Now I am saving $$$ and enjoying it!
i love that my hair actually looks BETTER in hot, humid weather. hooray for working those natural waves!
Despite my hair getting darker and grayer, when I’m in the sunlight, my hair still has a bit of golden shine that it had when I was younger.
I have crazy thick curly hair and I love how with only some bobby pins and 5-10 minutes I can have a super cute updo.
I love how fast my hair grows, I can cut it and cut it and it will be long again in a flash.
I love that I dont always have to blow dry my hair, especially in the HOT HUMID SUMMER!
I love that I have curly hair so I can hide the fact that I don’t brush it often.
After chemotherapy, my hair came back VERY curly and even thicker than it was before. I also live in NY, so the curl/frizz factor is huge due to the humidity! Sometimes it seems like it was just easier when I was bald. ): I would love to win some new hair products to try; especially since you said they make your hair SMOOTH!!!
Would love to find a product that makes my wavy, somewhat frizzy hair (the humidity where I live does not make my hair happy!) smooth and shiny.
Would love to try this… anything to fight the frizz!
I love the color of my hair. It’s titian red with natural blond highlights and some low-lights. I also love that it’s past shoulder length so I can do more with it.
When I turned 25 my hair became wavy. You would think in 5 years I would have learned how to manage my no-longer-stick-straight hair. Well, you’d be wrong. Hoping this will help tame the frizz and accentuate my curves (in my hair that is. Mamma ain’t got no curves on her body!)
Brenda Vicario says:
Lets see, what do I like about my hair? I like that is it is easily manageable as it is not too thin and not too thick but just right:)
I like the color of my hair (strawberry-blond/brown) and that it has a lot of body and is thick. Well, some days I like that, some not so much….hello, humidity!
Debbie F. says:
I love my hair when it has been Japanese straightened and looks smooth and beautiful with little to no effort whatsoever.
sarah a says:
I love how fast my hair grows, but I would like to find something to control th fly aways!!
I love my hair cut–I’ve always loved being blonde–from my very first trip in the sun around 1-2 years old when I went from no color hair to BLONDE! I’ve been blonde, but I have the *best* hairstylist here in AZ. In fact, we’re moving this week and she’s the about the only thing I’m going to miss. BEST hair cuts ever, enough swing and movement on my below the shoulder hair without making my stick straight hair look choppy from layers. It’s magic!
I love that my hair is naturally brown with some blond highlights that I don’t have to have artificially put in, saves me $!!!! However, I still haven’t found a hairstyle that I am in love with and I am in my mid 30’s. I would love to go short, but have this fear that it will look horrible and so haven’t made the move to go for it!
I love being able to throw my hair in a ponytail during the hot, humid summer.
I love that my hair holds a curl really well. I rarely need to use harispray after curling my hair and the curl lasts for the full day. =)
What I like about my hair: naturally curly, wavy. Wash and go as is, or it will cooperate with a flat iron.
My hair can go curly, wavy, or straight with about the same amount of work. It is naturally curly but I rarely wear it that way. I can also skip a wash or two and it still looks nice. This is helpful with all the hot mechanisms I have to use to get it looking great!
I like that my hair grows pretty fast, it recovers well from when I get the impulse to cut it all off! But in the south weather it freaks out, I need that oil you were talking about.
Jessica A says:
I love that my hair is long. Anyone can cut their hair short, but it takes a lot of patience to let your hair grow long and manage to keep it up. Plus, if I don’t feel like fixing it I can just throw it in a low ponytail and go.
I love how thick my hair is, its natural curl and it’s natural color.
I would love some style tips for my super thick, layered hair! It seems like everything just falls right out minutes after I put it in! Braids, bobby pins, etc none of them stand a chance lol
I would like a tutorial on what to do if you cut your long hair and now regret it. I’m trying to grow it out but holy crap it’s in that growing out phase where its’ annoying.
L Ann says:
I just went really short with my hair and love it. I need new stuff (or so I think) since all I have is tailored for long hair!
I love that my hair looks great curly or straight, though these days with a new bambino, it is mostly just worn up!
I’m like you, always trying new hair products!
It has taken me years, but I have to say I finally love my curly hair!
I like that my hair is straight! It is super easy and I am lazy
I like the color of my hair, which is funny because I originally blogged about HATING the color after first dying it a few weeks ago (it looked gray!)
Happy Birthday Heather!
lambaround at gmail dot com
Happy birthday! I like my hair because…….ummmmm……it’s pretty manageable and just the right thickness
I love that when I pass by those pushy sales people in the mall who ask, “Miss! Miss! How do you straighten your hair? Miss!,” I can look them in the eye and say, “This? Oh, this is natural.” I have finally grown to love my straight hair.
I love my curls!
I like that my hair is curly, but I also hate that it is curly. When it was straight I could just brush and go, but after having my son nearly 7 years ago, it all of a sudden became curly.
I love the color of my hair- I used to dye it and let it grow out after I had my daughter (19months ago) so it is now back to natural color. I didnt realize how much I liked it until I let it go- I also love how long it is getting!
Any tutorials on how to deal with frizzy, thick and semi-curly hair in the humidity would be FABULOUS!!
Now that I am older, I love that my hair is curly. I don’t really have to do much to it, and it looks great!
I like my hair’s thickness – makes everything easier
Tutorial request – and you may need to borrow a friend for this one, but Annie will thank you some day;
I have super long, super curly hair – think dolly-ringlets. Which I usually love. But, sometimes you just want the shiny straight barbie doll hair, and I have real difficulties straightening my hair. I would love a straightening curly hair effectively tutorial.
I love that my hair is soooo thick, but it also my biggest nemesis.
Prairie Princess says:
Hi from a fellow hair product junkie!! I love that I’m a natural blonde. I love being a blonde and will be the old lady in the nursing home having her done every 6 weeks so I can still be blonde instead of gray!
I would love a tutorial on HOW TO TRIM YOUR OWN BANGS *successfully (avoiding the bowl cut look) !!
Kelley Chambless says:
I love Dove products and how they smell, and i need something good for my dry yet pretty hair:)
I like that my hair growns quickly and is thick!!
I like that my hair is very versatile. I can wear it wavy, straight, or curl it and it holds all styles.
My hair is super frizzy and curly, but I love that I can just get it wet, scrunch it up a bit and go. No styling required!
I love that since I’ve finally embraced the fact that I have super-curly hair, instead of spending hours trying to fight it, I put some product in it right out of the shower and walk out the door!
Hello, I like my hair colour, but have noticed that it’s getting really thin, so I’m going to chop it all off. I’d love it if you’d do some ideas for mid-length/short hair.
While I’m here, I just want to say thanks for writing every day. I have to wait for days and weeks for some other bloggers to update, so I always save yours for last because Iknow I won’t be disappointed! Thanks very much!
Jennifer Davis says:
My hair is super thin but I like that it is easy to manage and I don’t have to worry about frizz or greasiness.
I LOVE my natural curls! My whole life I’ve heard people complain about what a curse curly hair is, and I never could understand why they felt that way. I’m currently looking for a new cut to show off my curl even better
I love that my hair is dark and thick. In my 20s, I made the mistake of regularly putting in highlights for about a year. My hair got way to light. Never again!
Rita from the Chicago says:
I like Dove products a lot, but I mostly use their shampoo and conditioner…I’d love to try something new!
Well…I love that (some of) my hair is STILL on my head. Turning 50 (okay, technically menopause in general) has wrecked havoc on my once beautiful locks. I used to have amazing natural curl (like your girls) and now it’s Limp Frizz City. Oh, and it did I mention that half my hair has fallen out? Yep, the thick curly hair has given way to thin, flat, crappy blah hair.
So I am in desperate need of a product that combats frizz while helping out with the limpness. Trust me, I am your girl for this one.
Tracy I says:
I love that even though I just turned ugh…40…. this year, I’m not afraid to experiment with my hair. I’m going for feather and colored hair extensions on Thursday =)
I want a tutorial on up-do’s. Easy to do ones for busy moms. I am sure you know how to do those! Would love to try new Dove products!
I would love tips on the best styles for thin straight hair.
Lori R says:
What I like about my hair has always been that after a fresh haircut it responds sooooo well when I blowdry it. Of course when it’s growing and almost to needing another cut, it isn’t so co-opperative. Maybe some new products can enliven it a bit. Have to try the new Dove line.
I would love to see a tutorial on how to curl your hair. I have naturally wavy hair but I am always seeing girls who use a curling iron to add pretty curls to their hair and whenever I use a curling iron I end up with weird crease marks.
I love my hair color…who cares if it’s not natural?!
One thing I like about my hair is its curls and waviness. I like being able to play up the waves when I’m going out.
Someone else posted this already, but it would be great to see a tutorial on easy, stylish updos. I tend to throw my hair up in a messy bun a lot & it would be helpful to have more ideas. Thanks!
I love how after sitting in the sun, my blonde highlights appear just perfectly. =)
The Suburban Housewife says:
I love the texture of my hair. It is super straight though, and will not hold a curl. But, it is usually pretty smooth and silky.
My hair is very very soft. It used to be really straight but now its doing this funky wave thing!
I love my natural color. I had full highlights in my hair for so long that I actually couldn’t remember the natural shade. Last summer in a effort to save $ I stopped seeing my colorist. AHHH! Roots! But, a year later I love my dirty blonde hair! It actually has natural highlights and is soooo much healthier.
I love that my hair is long….super long after great pregnancy hormones…
Felicia Collins says:
I love the length of my hair. It makes it easy for mornings like today when you just don’t have the time. You can just throw it in a cute braid.
I love the natural color of my hair. (But I wish I knew how or what to put in it so that the natural waviness doesn’t get all wonky if I just let it air dry.)
I love my hair b/c no matter what color or how much i use the straight iron-my hair never looks over heated or processed.
I love the texture of my hair. It is baby fine, and really soft. It is also stick straight, which can be a downfall. Usually, if I just blowdry, people ask me what kind of straightener I have! None.
I love that I naturally have red, brown, and blonde in my hair, I can go any way I want!
I have very similar hair to yours (from your descriptions) and would love to try this line! I, like you, love hair products and have to have a variety to use in the shower – there’s not much I like about my hair right now – I need to get in for a trim and some color help. But, I have noticed that with the summer sun I’ve got some natural highlights coming out and that boosts my hair-self-esteem!!!
Kandi Ann says:
Right now I love the color of my hair. (red out of a bottle of course!)
I love that I have a cowlick that no hairstylist can tame. I used to hate it, but now I just get a kick out of it. It’s a pain in the ass but it still just cracks me up that every person tries at least once to get it to go a certain way, and it just sort of does its own thing all the time. I should be more like my cowlick
I like the natural curl in my hair = )
Rachel H says:
I love that my hair is thick and naturally curly and doesn’t require a lot of time or effort to do what I want it to. No curling irons, blowdriers, or other fancy hair appliances for me.
I’d love a tutorial on how to keep the frizz at bay in this hot California heat. I may have the only head of hair that gets more frizzy the dryer the heat. Ugh!
This sounds great!
So…..have you tried the ‘sock bun’ style of curling your hair? If not, check it out on YouTube…If so, what did you think?
I’ve always been complimented on the color of my hair. It’s a dark brown with a very slight tint of auburn in it. It’s probably the feature I’m most comfortable with on my body
Hmmm, soft, shiny and great smelling hair… What more could a girl ask for?
Christina Autry says:
I really like that I have had wavy, bouncy natural curl my whole life. May not like the frizz that sometimes accompanies it, but overall, have always been grateful for the curl! As a girl w/3 kids, on a major budget, I would love the chance to try this awesome haircare line!
I *mostly* like my hair…but I especially like it when it’s just below shoulder length and has some drastic colored foils in it…it makes me feel good! And my hair looks pretty darn decent if it’s scrunched or straightened…bonus for me!
A tutorial for styles using the Spin Pins would be great. Even though I have very thick hair I bought a package of the “minis” to give them a try and I need some help!
I finally have embraced my hair! I love that I have naturally curly hair but I mainly wear it straight, because it’s easier! Lately I feel like my hair is a little lack-luster so I need these products. Help a sister out, Heather! I hope you have a GREAT birthday!!!!!
I had completely straight hair before I had kids and after pregnancy my hair is now curly. After having both, I can say that I really do love my curly hair. I love that I can wash, scrunch and go!
Wow awesome! I like my that my hair has a lot of natural curl. So when the weather is just right and not too much humidity it looks great! Thanks for the chance! And I love watching all your videos even when it doesn’t quite work with my hair.
I like that I can wear my hair curly or straight, depending on how much effort I want to put into it!
Diane B. says:
I love that can’t find any gray hair! Just had my birthday (the 26th) so that is big, but I like how after my girls were born my naturally slightly wavy hair turned curly! Just think of all the money I spent in college to have a perm and now it’s totally natural! Blows my mind.
Amy K says:
I like the fact that my hair is really thick and wavy, but not coarse. It kills stylists to see how great my hair is and then not get to do anything interesting to it, because I’m terrified of haircuts that require much maintenance beyond rubbing in a little curl creme after a shower and scrunching. I simply don’t have the patience to blow dry my hair for 30+ minutes (it seriously takes that long) and then style it. I do have some funky red and blonde streaks to liven things up, though.
I like the color of my hair–and I like that I see that same color on my daughter.
Mom in MN says:
I love my naturally curly hair after I’ve had an anti-curl treatment done on it so it’s not quite so curly! I’m always trying new products to control the frizz – would love to try these!
I love that I have thick hair that takes dye well. I started dying it red early this year and I’m loving the new color!
i love that i finally embraced my natural hair. i stopped straightening it and discovered that i have full, wavy gorgeous brown locks.
also, i was born with a patch of blonde in my hair, which turns into natural highlights as an adult. free highlights!
My hair is thick, wavy/curly/straight. I love that if I leave it alone, it looks great. Plus, the winner is being announced on my birthday. Just sayin’
Pretty much the only thing I love about my hair is that I have it and its not frizzy. It is however thin and limp and well…grey. I think its time for a make over lol.
I have learned to love my big brown curls!
I love that my hair is healthy, despite being the longest I’ve ever had it. Can’t wait for the post-wedding chop/dye job. I’m following your lead and letting out my inner redhead!
Kristin Hicks says:
I like being able to leave my hair to dry on its own and it being curly.
I love that my hair is strong enough to survive all that I do to it (color, highlights, flat iron, blow dryer, and whatever else I might need for work)!
I would love a tutorial on how to do big loose curls!
Kristen Smith says:
I like that my hair was just CUT! I cut off 10 inches a few weeks ago and it feels so light and easy to style. I’ve been trying to find a serum that I like!
I love that my hair is thick and that I really only have a brush it and walk out the door.
I love the color of my hair. After 38 years of boring brown I just colored it RED….
I like my hair b/c it is naturally curly. but i love your hair more!
I love that my hair gets the most awesome natural highlights in it during the summer!
I love that I can wear my hair either straight or curly and it looks good both ways.
I, too, am a hair product junkie. Crossing my fingers for this one
my fav thing about my hair is it is straight enough that it’s easy to straighten, but I wish it was curlier soI
I love that when I finally grew my hair out from having it highlighted for years that my natural color was still quite nice.
I’m very lucky with my hair. It’s not stick-straight, but it’s not super-curly, either. It curls at the ends, even after being in a messy bun/pony all day, which makes it easy to go from cleaning the house to a meeting at one of the schools. Fancy ponytails are my go-to style just because I don’t have much body or volume near my scalp, but it’s a classic style and super comfortable for summer. Win-win!
I like that my hair is naturally curly at the bottom.
I love the extra boost of confidence I get when spend a measly ten minutes curling my hairs. Totally can turn my whole day around!
I love that my hair requires little to no styling time, and that I can go a year between hair cuts and it still looks fine!
Anything to help my lifeless locks. They have been so tormented by pregnancy, birth control and now, just going gray. Sigh.
Amanda F says:
I like being able to pull my hair out of my face!
I want to see a video tutorial of how to make a cute bun. I need to learn to make bun that won’t sag and look like a granny bun within 20 minutes.
I have long hair that gets SUPER frizzy, a la John & Yoko Bed hair in this humidity. I just don’t have time for the straight iron every day. I WOULD LOVE product that can help keep me smooth & shiny in Houston humidity!
Jody M says:
I like the way my hair is cut right now!
I love that after years of dying my hair – I have realized that like my natural hair color the best.
Now that I recently moved to the desert of Phoenix, I love my shiny, non-frizzy hair! I am totally going to grow it out finally!
I recently got bangs again after many months and months of growing them out….so currently, I’m liking my bangs since it gives me a new look with minimal work!
Tabitha Cobb says:
I have Japanese hair. It lays on my head and will do absolutely nothing! I can’t curl it, color it, or get any kind of body at all! I would love something that could maybe give me some body. I’m also pregnant and it’s sucking the shine out of my hair so some shine would be fantastic, too. Here’s hoping for a boost for the pregnant girl lol
I have finally learned to love my naturally curly/wavy, thick hair. I have a long way to go before I can complain about thinning hair!
Gimme!! I love products!!!!
me me me … I live @ the beach in SC … i need flat un-frized hair!
I have curly hair. Which I hated when I was a teenager, but now I like because I don’t have to use curly iron or anything.
Although my hair is a tad shorter than normal I love it short and it suits me this way. I can spike it up or have it flatter. Very easy to style.
There is not much I like about my hair. That’s why I need new hair products!
I have long very thick hair…I use to get my hair thinned out everytime I got it cut or colored, well that would make my hair very frizzy and poofy. I didn’t realize it was from getting it thinned out until I quit getting it thinned now I have awesome wave texture and all around beautiful mane of thick hair that I really don’t know what to do with but throw it up in a messy bun but any who maybe this will get me the win!!
I like that my hair is straight and never ever frizzy.
Anna Ellis says:
I love that my hair is naturally wavy and not colored or hilighted!
Dina Isabel says:
I love my long curly hair but would love a tutorial on how to straighten it myself.
I love my natural highlights. People (even my own mom!) occasionally accuse me of dyeing/highlighting my hair, but I’m way too lazy for that. Hooray for rocking what nature gave you!
Holli (B's Mom) says:
I started using this a few weeks ago and I am in love! I usually use a much more expensive brand, and I think this does an even better job.
I love my straight hair. I can do almost anything wit it, up or down, curly or straight. And my hair rarely frizzes! Yeah!
I love my straight hair. I can do almost anything with it, up or down, curly or straight. And my hair rarely frizzes! Yeah!
i LOVE that i just chopped it off all and am now rockin’ very cropped short waves. get to use much less styling products and can walk out the door with only having to devote a few minutes to my hair.
BIG OOPPPS…left the wrong email address in my post. this is the right one. sorry.
I love that my hair exists again!! After 6 months of chemo for leukemia I am grateful for the little fluffy bit I have!
Emily Erin says:
I love my hair because the gray gives me a reason to dye it blone!
My hair is my pride and glory. I was recently convinced to chop about six inches off (WHYY OH LORD WHY DID I LISTEN?!?). So far its grown back about two inches so four more inches and I’ll be good to go!
I Dove products. If you think your 6 shampoos is bad… we have 12. And six different kinds of body wash.
i want to know what to do with my short bangs when i have a bad bang day!! thanks!
I love the way my hair turns a pretty reddish in the summer.
I’m going to suggest something for you. You love hair, you love hair care products. At age 49 I went to beauty school and became a hairdresser, something I wanted to do after HS but my guidance counselor talked me into going to business school instead. Hated every single day of it.
Here in Minnesota it takes 11 months to finish. Included are nails, facials, pedicures, hair. The schooling is hard – lots of book study including chemistry, bones and parts of the hair and nails. And the board exam is two days with having to do everything that you learned in front of an examiner. But it was so much fun! And I really think you’d be good at it. Even with Annie around you could work part time.
My hair. It’s always been dry, as is my skin. I am fair and blonde. As my hair gets older it looks dryer. That is why I keep it pretty short. I also have lots of hair products in my shower because everything new that came out I had to try. Except for Bedhead products – I don’t like them. Is that too much info?? lol
Hugs from Minnesota
Becky Campbell says:
I’d love a tutorial on how to manage, style and/or cut hair that is super wavy underneath, with a nearly stick straight and frizzy outer layer!:( I had lovely hair…until I had kids! Thanks for the opportunity!!:)
I love that whenever I go to the salon, the hair dressers always comment how healthy my hair feels, even though I recently started coloring it more regularly.
I like that my hair isn’t oily or dry so I can go a couple days between washings. I also like the color though I could do without the silver that is creeping in.
I love giveaways! I used to hate it, but I’m learning to embrace my curly hair. Also, it’s entirely too hot here in Oklahoma to worry about straightening it. Yay for curly girls!
Carla Carter says:
Love, love, love the color of my hair….yep, I’m vain in that respect!!
I like that a few years ago my hair went from stick straight to curly (with product), practically over night. Weird, but pretty cool!
I like that my hair is straight, although in college I envied my curly-haired room-mate. Now I realize that I can have it curly if I want, or straight if I want: options are good!
Kristy H says:
I like that my hair has a little bit of wave to it, so sometimes when I don’t feel like straightning it, I let it air dry and it actually looks good! And doesn’t take the extra time to get it all straight! I have alot of hair, but it’s not super thick so I’ve been lucky in the “no frizz” dept lately!
I love the color of my hair and the curls that have come since having my four babies.
I actually love that my hair is a wavy mess most days!
I love the softness. And I LOVE Dove products. I exclusively use their shampoo and conditioner.
I love the softness. And I LOVE Dove products. I exclusively use their shampoo and conditioner.
I love the softness. and I LOVE Dove products. They are the only thing that doesn’t weigh my hair down and make it super oily!
hmmm…something I like about my hair… I like that I have hair and lots of it. It’s better than no hair at all!
I love that my hair is finally long enough to put it in a ponytail after 12+ yrs of it being short. I’m moving down south next month, so summer ponytails are a must!!
I like that my hair grows so fast. Sooooo when I am in a crazy mood and get it cut really short – it is back to itself in no time
I love Dove products
I like the color and the layers! My stylist is awesome!
I have curls. LOTS of curls. Love that I can just wash, gel and go. No need to futz with a blowdryer or curling iron or any of that mess.
Would LOVE to try this new line. Well, I’ll be trying it even if I don’t win, but it’d be nice to win!
Mary M says:
My curls! It took me over 30 years to love them, but yeah, i do LOVE my curls.
Jane Rao says:
I like my dark, dark hair that I inherited from my mother and passed to my daughters!
I love that it is long enough to throw into a ponytail when I don’t want to deal with it!
I love dove products!
Andrea Myers says:
I like the way my hair dries quickly and straight, because it’s so thin.
I would love to try these peoducts, Thanks Heather!
I like the way my hair has a small wave to it
Emily N says:
I love that I can blow-dry my hair in the morning, brush it and I’m ready to go! I need easy with a one year-old!
I am one of those ungifted ladies who can’t do anything with my hair. I tried your beachy waves look and I ended up looking like Shirley Temple. Who knew my hair wasthat curly with a little product!
I have a love/hate thing going on with how fast my hair grows.
I would love more tutorials on how to wear longish hair down, but not looking all peace/love/hippie-ish.

I love that my hair is very thick and I love that I finally found a stylist who makes it look so fab that I only have to wash it every other day and on the second day all my friends say ‘your hair looks great today’! Winning!!

I have short curly hair and I love that I just have to wash and go. I do have an issue with it looking like an afro though during the hot humid days of summer so I’m wondering if the oil serum would help with that.
I have long hair that I just put up everyday because I don’t know what to do with it.
Maria Louise says:
My hair is kind of a frizzy mess, but I am loving the fact that now that I am pregnant it is thick and very shiny.
Jessica Guidry says:
My hair is long and thick. I constantly say that I wish it was thinner or straighter, but honestly, it does anything I want it to. It will hold a curl forever and stay straight as a board. I Love That. I know some peeps who can’t get their hair to hold a curl to save thier life. I am lucky.

I love that my hair is naturally curly!
I love my natural blonde highlights, which help brighten my face and save me big bucks at the salon
Rebecca L. says:
I have a love/hate relationship with my hair. It’s naturally curly and sometimes that’s great and sometimes that’s terrible.
I like that my hair is fairly straight and shiny, so I can get away with putting very little effort into it!
I love that my hair has lots of body (sometimes TOO much body in the summertime!).
I love that my hair is straight.. Although I hate that it is so limp and bodyless
I like that I have LOTS and LOTS of thick hair. I’d rather have too much than not enough….
Sandy C says:
I like the texture and length of my hair. I’d like the color more if there was no gray.
Stacey Williams says:
Although I desparately need a haircut right now, I will always love my color-Strawberry Blonde. All natural, despite the number of people over the years who have debated me on that one. Never have colored it. Only the occasional perm-do wish I had more natural curl.
I am learning to love my naturally curly hair. Turns out that – after years of straightening it and rolling my eyes at my stick straight-haired mother – I’m starting to believe it really IS faster and easier to style my hair type!
And, seriously, I am going to need this because we have had flooding and have been under a boil order to OVER A WEEK! I’ve washed my hair twice, but the orangish river water just isn’t making it feel so clean.
I love that my hair looks cute in a sloppy bun!
Seriously tho, my hair tends to be limp and is really prone to oil, will Dove weigh it down?

I like that my hair has a bit of a wave to it, pretty easy to style. would love to try these new products. i’m like you, hair product junkie…
I like that my hair is curly. I used to hate it but now I just roll with it.
The one thing I like about my hair is that it is a rainbow. It has literally been died every color in the rainbow!
I have a hair tutorial request…but for my 22 month old daughter! She has thick, curly hair (much like Annie’s appears to be!) and I pretty much have to resort to putting it in a little ponytail or pigtail buns every day because it grows forward in her face. There is no way I could cut bangs for her due to the curliness (is that a real word?) but I’m desperate to find a way to leave it down occasionally as she’s starting to get flyaways…breakage from having it up 24/7. I’ve tried using different clippies but none seem to stay put…HELP!
The one thing I love about my hair is that it actually dries straight! It gets so hot and humid here, that i hate blow drying and straightening it, but if I just let it air dry on my walk to work, it actually ends up looking fine!
I love my curls!
