Ever since Heather made æbleskivers last week, Annabel hasn’t been able to stop thinking about the yummy Danish pancakes. Since she’s only tried the homemade variety, we decided it was time to take the kid to Solvang to try the genuine article.
Let’s just say she was a fan. And before you ask… Yes, I definitely failed on my diet!
Paula says:
Oh they look yummy! Annie knows what is good! We go to a Dutch place here that does little pancake dumplings called poffertjes which are divine. You should try them with melted butter and icing sugar. Damn the diet!
Kat says:
mmmmm…. aebleskivers are sooo yummy and Solvang is one of my fav cities in CA!!! Lucky girl you are Miss Annie!
Lanie says:
Looks good. you can always start the diet tomorrow
Trisha says:
Oh my goodness! Could Annie say the word aebleskivers any stinkin’ cuter?? She is jsut darling.
Might have to get one of these pans and try these. I’ve never had them before. They look delish.
boomerang jane says:
Agreed. This gorgeous child brings so much joy to many. She pronounces the word better than me. She’s so freaking smart!
Casey says:
Super cute. This video made me smile. And made me hungry.
Annalisa says:
No, no,no. You don’t fail on a diet.
You go off of it for a while, and then you get right back on. The idea of “failure” if you eat something you’re not supposed to is what makes diets not work.
Just think of it as adding an extra week to reaching your goal weight.
Tricia says:
We are actually vacationing in solvang right now. Is this the best restaurant to get the aevlskivers?
Mike says:
That’s the restaurant we have always gone too, though there are others. Their food is only “okay,” I should mention, except for the aeviskivers which are great!
Shauna says:
Wow, to think I couldn’t even pronounce them! I love how cute she sounds when she says it. Also, is that a bowl of ice cream? Good for her for showing major restraint with a bowl of ice cream right in front of her!
JustAMom says:
Okay seriously…… I CANNOT handle the cuteness that is Annie!! How can I love a kid I never met SO MUCH???
Melli says:
So cute. Its sad I know this area only from the girls next door show. Bridget was Danish & they went here. I’m pathetic
nona says:
I don’t believe in dieting. I’m convinced I could eat whatever I want, if only I’d exercise. That said, I haven’t managed to do that ever in my life on a regular basis, either.
The video is adorable, but of course! I think this restaurant will get a few extra visits on account of Annie’s testimony.
Auntie_M says:
I am soooo glad Annie can say æbleskivers because I sure can’t!!! Love how she says it and love even more how she enjoys eating them!!!!!
