When my brother came over the other day, Annie greeted him at the door. Kyle said, “Hi Annie!” And she replied, “UNCLE KYLE COME SEE MY BIG GIRL BED!” And then she took off running toward her room. Later when the UPS guy rang our bell needing a signature, Annie asked him five times, “WANNA SEE MY BIG GIRL BED?”
So, she’s proud of her big girl bed. And she’ll tell you all about it if you let her.
Her hoarse voice slays me.

What a way to start my morning – watching and hearing TOTAL ADORABLENESS! We did a no-no and waited to get my number two baby into a big girl bed AFTER her little brother was born (so she had to give up her crib) but were sure she would love sleeping with her sister who is only a year older and best bud — sure didn’t happen that way!!! We thought it would be a great treat to ease the “baby gets all the attention” but what she did was…..locked herself in his room and when we got the door opened had taken huge bites out of the nerf football someone had given him as a gift!!! Take that BOY INTERLOPER!!! (Actually, we had done the transition a couple weeks before but the reality hadn’t hit, I guess, until she saw him in her cribbie!) I love Annie, btw!
Molly says:
SO CUTE! I love that she asked the UPS guy. Hopefully he declined.

Glad to see Wobble made a smooth transition to the big girl bed. I LOVE how she raises both of her hands in the air and declares that she is a big girl at the end.
Brenda says:
I’m so jealous of her gorgeous hair.
Amanda says:
How has she been doing napping in the big bed? We just transitioned my son (age 2yrs. 3 months) to a big boy bed this week and naps have been a nightmare! He had been climbing out if his crib so we had to do it, but I so wish we hadn’t!
Heather says:
Well, Annie hasn’t taken a nap in…weeks? Months now, maybe? She seems to have outgrown them, unfortunately. The flip side is that she sleeps 12 solid hours at night, but OH how I miss those naps.
Jessi says:
Hahaha…”Old Baby” Glad she’s so proud of it all – and I love the perfect shade of purple on her walls.
Auntie_M says:
Love how she loves her Wobble!!!! If Wobble couldn’t come to her big girl bed, I bet she’d have demanded her crib back! And it’s hysterical that Bampa couldn’t possibly have given her a princess blanket–only grammas do things like that! LOL
I’m so glad that she loves her big girl bed where all her princess friends (and maybe Rigby too??) can sleep with her–and mommy or daddy if need (aka croup) be!
Yay Annie!!!
So…seriously: what did the UPS guy do??
Jessica says:
I’m putting off the big boy bed with my youngest for as long as I can, I just can’t imagine him being that big. (I have a brother named Kyle too)
Gayatri - Life. Unordinary says:
So very cute, that’s a lot of stuffed animals on one bed!
