After Mike wrote about how well-behaved Annie is for him at the store, I told him that he could a) always take her with him to the store, and b) that I wanted him to get video of it. I love these smart phones with the built-in cameras. Anyway, he came home yesterday with some videos to show me and…well, at least they had fun and didn’t break anything.
Tina says:
Oh my that was so cute!! She did so good. I love Mike at the end, “so we’re getting balloons”
Patrice says:
You got off easy with him just coming home with balloons. Just wait till she has him take her to the mall!!! Love it!
coloradolady says:
I was thinking the same thing……just wait!!!! Dad will be BROKE!!!!
Jenn says:
Looks like a little someone has her daddy wrapped around her sweet, little finger!!! Ha ha ha You’re a GREAT daddy Mike!!
Rah says:
That’s some amazing driving on those corners–way to go, Annie. I was holding my breath and you handled it like a pro!
Jenny says:
Nice cart driving! She’ll be ready for the races soon!
chantelle says:
Very cute!
Barbi Emel says:
Very cute, my hubby would of never took our daughter to the store alone, Kudos Mike.
Nicole says:
Haha, love the shot of the balloons and next thing you know Annie is holding them. Then he says at the end “ok, we’re getting balloons.”
This age can be so frustrating but so hilarious too!
K-Line says:
I think she was very well behaved and helpful! And her motor coordination skills are amazing. Can’t believe how well she pushed around that cart.
Melissa says:
That was adorable!
Me says:
So cute!
Melissa says:
I would have gotten her the balloons too. I’m surprised that Mike didn’tget her the Cars pull ups to in the never ending battle to be the favorite parent lol.
Melissa says:
too
ColleenMN says:
My husband would never have gone to the store period, much less take one of our kids. I once sent him with a list and he came home with half of it, claiming that they were all out of Ketchup, uh huh, right…..
Jenn says:
Haha..love the “We’re getting balloons” at the end. Great video as always!
Emily says:
Awesome! I love how patient you are with her. I don’t think my kids ever got to “experience” grocery shopping.
Heather says:
I love it! “Hold, hold, hold!?” “…So, we’re getting balloons.” Fabulous! You’re a great dad, Mike. Annie is a lucky little girl.
Andrea says:
I am curious how long that trip took and did they come home with anything other than: apples, balloons, diapers and napkins?!? LOL!
Seriosuly though I love taking my kids to the store just not for a full, weekly trip because I’ve got that down to a science and get in and out like a ninja shopper!
Jessica says:
You guys are just so hilarious!
Shan says:
Love it!!! I always tend to buy so much more when I have a kid with me…you should see the cart when I take all four!
AngieM. says:
she could obviously go do the grocery shopping on her own now. she might only come home with diapers & balloons..but that’s ok.
Trisha says:
Love it, so cute!! Liked how she was all matter of fact about the diapers, like that’s where she was headed the whole time.
Sarah M. says:
Heh. At first, I was like “wait, who’s talking?” I don’t think I’ve heard Mike’s natural voice before, just his “Rigby” voice.
Carrie says:
Very impressive cart pushing!
We love Annie videos- almost nothing gets my kids (2 1/2 and 4 1/2) running in to the room faster than when I say “hey- there’s a new Annie video!” Although now they’re questioning why I don’t let them push the cart alone
Gwen says:
That was adorable. I’d have wanted to “hold balloons” too!
Laura says:
haha, Annie’s face when she dropped the second apple in the scale was priceless!
Laura says:
She’s so cute! You can tell you two are just wonderful parents!!! Wish you all the best!
Laura from Michigan
Glenda says:
so cute and such a good helper
Stephanie says:
The background music at the store was classic. Annie is so cute! I think she earned a few balloons.
Kelly says:
How bruised were your apples?
Our local grocery store gives all the kids a balloon, a piece of cheese the size of your head, and a cookie. Mea lovvvveeesss going to the store.
Courtney says:
Do all grocery stores in LA play classic *NSYNC on the loudspeakers? I’d move to LA just for that.
KaraB says:
That was adorable! Heather, were you a little confused about the balloons when they got home?
Mary Ann says:
From one Daddy’s girl to another – good job Annie, you look like you have Daddy wrapped around your little finger already! Mike you are an awesome Dad Annie will treasure those moments when she grows up.
Amber says:
“One….two…go!” I love it!
Lesley says:
Oh, god, that was priceless! My stomach hurts from laughing so hard! Mike’s “Umm…… um…..,” was the best! Please, more candid videos!!
Melinda says:
“Ok…I guess we’re getting balloons”! LMAO on that one. Seriously Mike that was awesome!
Kayla says:
Love! And hey, if Annie enjoys pushing the cart so much, might I suggest a toy shopping cart for her to bring to the store? I bet she’d enjoy that, and I’ve heard kids do really well with them – keeps them focused and feeling “grown up”.
edenland says:
OH THE CUTE.
She is the cutest toddler on the planet.
Meyli says:
Wow what a great helper she is! Picking out the right items when you ask for them; I bet she’s learning a lot. And if the cart has enough stuff in it, it’ll be too heavy for her to RUN down the aisle with until she’s a little bigger!
A happy shopping helper in exchange for a balloon? I think its worth it
Rachael says:
I love that “Okay, we’re getting balloons.” Also, I am TOTALLY impressed by Annie’s cart steering/turning abilities. I’m pretty sure my 5 year old can’t steer that well.
AmazingGreis says:
I just squealed because *NSYNC’s Tearing Up My Heart is playing over the loud speaker! I am crazy! Also, I love *NSYNC!!
AmazingGreis says:
Also, I love how Mike just kept saying UM…
Alexandra :) says:
That is SO ADORABLE! I’d take that kid to the grocery store anytime, she’s so well behaved and helpful and cute
