If there is one Annie quote that sums her up lately, it’s, “Do you want to put on a show?” I love how creative she is, but these words sometimes strike fear in my heart, because Annabel is a demanding director whose vision is very specific. Plus, you never know if the show is going to be singing, dancing, making play doh, etc. Yesterday she decided she wanted to put on a puppet show for James. Now that I can do. She provided the basic storyline (superheros, obviously), I provided the muscle, and James provided the adorable reactions.

James is obsessed with those super hero dolls. I think he has a tiny superhero inside of him, itching to break free.

I cannot believe that James does not have agents scouting him down. I could watch him all day. You are one lucky mama.
Meyli says:
Omg James is SO excited! That was adorable.
…and hey, you sounded just like Rigby for a moment there
Kitty Deschanel says:
Those little kicking legs! Sooo cute!!!
Jen says:
You should look into a children’s theatre program for her. My son attends a children’s theatre here in Florida and they start them about Annie’s age. She would probably love it!
Michelle says:
I love the excited baby panting and leg kicking. So cute!
Tami says:
That’s was so adorable. I laughed out loud
Heather when you caught your voice changing. LOL. That was too funny!! James is so cute kicking his feet and panting with excitement!!
Paula says:
James is so funny! He was loving it! And Annie did a great job – as did you (apart from the wrong voice lol)
Amy W says:
OMG! Adorable! Love it! Great job Annie and Heather! I love your reactions James!
Paula says:
Heather – I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you nurture her imagination and creativity. There is just not enough of that going on and kids are being reared by technology and imagination is going to the way side. This was the BEST Spohr video yet!!
Jeanie says:
Oh, that made me laugh. What a cute and happy baby he is.
roshan says:
Jamesie wanted to get off the couch and join the puppet show! And, I like how Batman just up and disappears mid conversation….as usual.
Molly says:
That was awesome!
Lanie says:
Love the show and the audience. Little people have the best imaginations.
Michelle says:
Loved the video! I have to ask – how do your light colored couches stay looking so nice with two kids and a dog?
Heather says:
Those are our “formal” couches, for lack of a better word. They’re in our front room, and we don’t hang out there unless we have company. The tan couches in our family room are…not pretty!
