UPDATED! NOW WITH SUBTITLES!
Last month Mike showed me the video “Shit Girls Say.” I cracked up…because I say all of those things! Now I can’t say to Mike, “can you do me a favor?” without him laughing at me.
The funny thing is, as Annie ran around our house yesterday, talking up a storm, it occurred to me that she is the toddler-version of the girl in the video (except, you know, actually a girl).
Welcome to a day with Annie, and all the stuff she says:
if you can’t see the video above, click here.
edenland says:
Seriously crying at her re-creating the Maddie video at 37 seconds. And hearing her say her sisters name, so so beautiful.
She is JUST DIVINE. Imma teach her some Aussie pronounciation.
Love love XXXXXXX
Heather says:
HA she is actually imitating a monkey there! “oooh ah ah ah ah! Monkey!”
Or maybe she’s making a comment about my red hair.
edenland says:
SORRY. Am idiot, bloody hell!
I love the lying down on the floor .. more cooookie.
TamaraL says:
Cute!!!! Love how so much of what she says revolves around food. Girl after my own heart! (Loving those healthy snacks!!)
Jenn says:
She is a cutie!!! I had to smile when she was on the floor asking more & more inpatiently for a cup cake. I thought “Ohh, she’s gonna blow in a minute” and sure enough….next scene! She definitely has mastered talking…that’s for sure!!! Love her!!!
Shan says:
Absolutely love it! The monkey was too cute!
Anne says:
So cute! (Although I miss you guys putting in subtitles…I don’t have a kid and don’t speak “toddler” very well!)
Heather says:
I agree! I went back and added subtitles, hope that helps!
Anne says:
Oh wow, thanks! Awesome. I can’t wait to watch it again when I get home. She’s such a delight.
Brooke says:
YES! Thank you for those, because I’m like Anne – I don’t speak toddler either!
Gwen says:
That was great!!! Shit Girls Say cracked me up so hard too.
Meg says:
Annie sure does love her apple and banana . . . which is excellent. I was obsessed with apples as a kid, apparently! (And oddly enough, I can’t stand them now.)
Very cute — love when she says “Love Yo Gabba Gabba!”
Melissa says:
Love it! Annie is such a doll. Loved seeing her party in her high chair just like Maddie.
On Christmas Day my sister-in-law were bored while everyone was watching football so I showed her all the Amazing Annabel videos. She’s laughed until she was crying. It’s the highlight of my Friday!

Hi Heather,
I have been following your blog for a long time and this is my first comment ever lol. Annie is too cute and I loooooooove the pigtails french braid she has on your post about the playground with your dad. WOuld you mind posting a video on how to do that? I have a daughter and feel terrible cause the only thing i can do on her hair is a pony tail
thanks
Glenda says:
Thanks Annie for putting a smile on my face this Friday morning.
more apple, more banana, whachadoin’, omg… love it!
thanks for sharing…have a great weekend!
Shannan says:
I’m glad my 2 year old isn’t the only one saying “Mine!” lol Annie is just too darn cute!!
AmazingGreis says:
I love her little voice!!
Rebecca says:
Would it be wrong of me to offer her a cookie and then take it away so I could hear her sweet little cry? She looks so precious and sounds so pitiful in her little cry.
Bren says:
Your videos are great! I watched it this morning as was excited to see it added with subtitles because let’s face it – each toddler has their own dialect and it’s not always super easy to understand them!
pgoodness says:
My word she is adorable. Want to SQUISH.
katrina @ They All Call Me Mom says:
I love this video! She sure is getting big. Seeing photos is one thing, but hearing her talk just proves it
gorillabuns says:
i love her.
Karo says:
Love this! “Want Cookie More” is my spirit phrase.
Heather says:
SPIRIT PHRASE. That is the best thing I’ve ever heard.
Sherry says:
Oh my gosh, this video made me think of so many different things! First off, I was JUST told about the original video (Shit Girls Say) and had watched it recently. So funny. Secondly, Annie is SO FRIGGIN CUTE! I cannot get over it. Thirdly, I also lay on the floor begging for cookies too but my husband says it’s a pathetic beg. Lastly, Annie is such a good talker! Love your all your videos but this might be one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing and brightening my day!
megryansmom says:
God love her, she is a cutie!
Megan @ Fiterature says:
Annie is adorable! And she has so much personality – like her mama!
Joanna says:
That was hilarious. And apparently I’ve been hanging out with my 2 year old too much lately because I didn’t need the subtitles for any of that.
Staci says:
OMG, I love her and that makes me want more babies. Thanks A LOT.
Angie [A Whole Lot of Nothing] says:
How many times did she say “OH, BANANA” the other day when she had not 6 bananas?
Heather says:
This entire video could be 20 minutes long, filled simply with her asking for a banana.
Molly says:
oh my gosh she is the cutest child ever!!!
sharon says:
So cute! Is she crying because she didn’t get “more cookie”?
Jeanie says:
The “aw, man” cracked me up!
suzy says:
Annie is just so adorable and after hearing her “other” voice for so long and still pictures, it is so great to hear her baby voice! annie looks and sounds so much like my daughter did at her age and now my daughter is 13 and is certain that she never adored us and that we never adored her we were not good about taking videos and you will love showing these to annie when she inevitably tries to pretend that you and mike are conspiring against her….
p.s. my 10 year old son loves Fridays so that he can see the new Annie video!
Expat Mom says:
Ok, that was seriously cute. I forget how adorable toddler voices are . . . guess it’s a good thing we’re going to be having another one around here! And also, Annie is really a mini-Mike!
Katie says:
I regret ever showing this crazy cute video to my husband. It’s a miracle if I get through a day without hearing him say, ” More cookies. Want cookies more.” or “Come ‘ere Dada!!!!!” Sometimes I’ll luck into a change-up of, “Want *insert thing other than cookies here* more”. I’ve now learned not to show him anymore cute Annie videos so he doesn’t pick up any more catch phrases. lol.
