A few weeks ago, we all trekked up to the San Francisco Bay Area where Mike’s family lives. It was his father’s 70th birthday, so we helped him celebrate in style. No one was as excited to help him celebrate as Annabel.
if you can’t see the video above, click here.
I fear her expectations will be unreasonable for her first birthday party.
Kathy says:

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!
mp says:
Great costuming–how perfectly coordinated Annie was with the piano keys!
And a nice musical score. Used to live in San Francisco and bought one of those musical cable cars that played “I left my heart in San Francisco.” When my first was little, we would play that song and oh, my, the waterworks!
Sarah says:
Hahaha, yet another video I LOVE! You guys make me chuckle each and every time.
PS – Heather, I love your voice. No kidding – beautiful.
Lisa_in_WI says:
Another classic!
nona says:
Mike’s dad is adorable!
Heather, your singing voice is lovely. I guess I’ve only heard you singing in a silly way, but if it comes through there, I can only imagine it’s even better “normally.” I would not be surprised if Annie has inherited this. In the video from a few months back where Mike is singing to her, she totally matches his pitch at one point.
Amanda M. says:
Oh my heavens, SINGING in the Annie voice now. Ahahaha
Kathy C. says:
Precious, precious baby girl. I could just eat her UP !
MamaMacQ says:
Your videos are so adorable! On a related note…I was in an Old Navy the other day, and I swear that their “Modelquin’s” voice sounded just like Annie’s “voice”! Do you, by any chance, do voice-over work for ON?
Tara Butterworth says:
Love it! My baby boy enjoys watching your videos. I think he might have a crush on Annie.
Katrina says:
Totally off-top here…but I’m trying to figure out your new web design:
and how come some comments have the commenter’s photo to the right, while others don’t?
Why is there a COMMENTLUV logo at the bottom of the “leave a comment” section, but yet not one person who comments has the little hard thingy to show they are a member of COMMENTLUV? while your old web design showed that…
and for some reason, I have to enter my info each time I comment, where with your old web design it was saved….?
Okay, sorry for all the off-topic questions…and I’m probably just showing my blog -ignorance here and I should have just stayed quiet and not embarrass myself…but it’s late, I’m up doing nothing more than playing on the computer and listening to music…and so I just thought I’d ask
Katrina says:
Oooops — that should read “heart-thingy” not hard-thingy.
So much for your G-rated blog.
Sorry about that!
As I said…it’s late. My only excuse.
Heather says:
we’re still working out all the kinks!
The photo thing, if you go to gravatar.com, you can get a photo next to your name.
Comment Luv is not working on my blog and it’s driving me and my designers CRAZY trying to figure out why.
The entering info thing, hmm, I’m not sure about that. I will ask my designer, I didn’t realize my site did that, I thought it was the web browser.
Thanks for asking!
jeannine says:
I love your Friday videos – i can only aspire to be 1/100th as creative as you guys. Keep em coming!
Kim says:
Heather,
I am so glad that I’m not the only one who makes their child talk. My mother and I have whole conversations where I pretend to be one of the twins. She will actually repeat stories to me that she’s already told me! I think she gets fooled too!
Happy Birthday, Papa!
Amy says:
What a hoot and such a great way to capture a memorable weekend for you all Annie is such a little sweetheart.
Lauren says:
Seriously, these Annie videos are one of the major highlights of my week! So damn cute!!!! And BRAVO, Annie, on your beautiful singing voice :o)
Maura/@CountessMo says:
I realize I’m late to the party of enjoying Annabel’s videos but, man, are they making my night now. I especially loved the part at AT&T park, natch.
