I had a blast learning how to do stand up paddleboarding in Santa Barbara last year, so I arranged to do it again on this trip. When I rented the board the paddleboard guy mentioned he also rents waterproof cameras that you can put on the front of your board to capture the experience out on the ocean. I thought that would be fun to do, especially since Annie insisted that she was going to “surf” with me, too!

Annie loved it so much she’s decided she wants to “surf” again tomorrow!

That’s awesome. I love that Annie has no fear and participates in every adventure. On a side note, what is that around your ankle? It looks like one of those ankle monitor/bracelets that are for house arrest. Is there something you are not telling us? (haha!)
Kayla says:
Pretty sure that’s just the lead (a cord) that attaches the surfer to the surfboard.
And I am just LOVING this magical Spohr family vacation!! It does my heart good to see you guys all together, so happy and relaxed. I think *I* might just be enjoying this vaca as much as you guys!! Love you all!
