James was my little buddy yesterday while I ran a bunch of errands. When we were done, I decided to treat myself to some frozen yogurt. James was watching my spoon like a hawk, so I decided to let him try it. I gave him a few licks off of my finger and he was totally into it, so I thought he’d be equally excited about bites off of my spoon. And well…

Those really are some of the most amazing faces I’ve seen in my life.
samatwitch says:
Those are adorable faces. Do you think it might have been because it was cold? He didn’t look as if he was refusing it.
Lilian says:
Awww, I needed that laugh tonight! He obviously didn’t like it, but he didn’t seem to want to disappoint you, so he kept opening his mouth (albeit not enthusiastically), so as to be co-operative! So sweet! (no pun intended).
Jennifer L. says:
That face! He seemed to dig it after the initial super cold passed. Too cute.
JustAMom says:
His sweet little smile at the beginning was so cute – then the FACE – like LADY!! WHAT THE HECK???? I love this video – and just like his big sisters his face is SO expressive – can’t wait for the theater productions he and Annie are bound to put on in a few years.
RzDrms says:
Has he *ever* tasted anything cold before? Those faces were priceless.
Don’t tell anyone, but I thought “Froyo” was a character from “Lord of the Rings” and I was like “that’s *way* above his head, no wonder he hates Froyo!”
Kim Q says:
Hahahaha! Love this so much!
Lisa F. says:
LOL!
Susan says:
He is a doll face. Love his hands in this video.
Johanna says:
The last face he makes is the best!
Paula says:
Boys prefer ice cream, cheeseburgers and fries. And forget about ever taking him to Panera. Frozen yogurt and salads are for girls.
Kate says:
Oh, my goodness! He’s so precious!
Lisa F. says:
I can’t bring myself to believe he wouldn’t like froyo. Who doesn’t like froyo?! :p It had to have been the cold. Was it a tart flavor? Maybe that’s what he was reacting to.
Don’t mind me, I’ll just be here over in the corner, in denial.
Annalisa says:
Many people. I’d rather have the tiniest teaspoon of ice cream over a tub of froyo.
Steph says:
Maybe he was afraid of getting an ice cream headache?:)
Joelle says:
last summer was one of the first time i really introduced my girls (2 at the time) to ice cream. I LOVE ice cream, could eat it every day. We had “your love is better than ice cream play at our wedding,” which sometimes I’m not so sure is true But my girls HATED the ice cream. They looked like i was torturing them. It was like a knife to the heart…how could my children not like ice cream? What would become of summer, and vacations?
I then made it my personal mission to make sure they liked ice cream. My husband thought I was nuts…now they love it (but I have to stir it up first and make ‘ice cream soup’). But it doesn’t look like James hates it! just a little confused!
Megan says:
Good for you, James! Froyo is watery crap with a ton of candy dumped on top to make it seem like more of a treat. Come visit me in Virginia, and I’ll take you to Ben and Jerry’s for a real frozen treat
Courtney says:
Those faces were awesome! Too funny.
Lisa says:
I’m with James, froyo is the worst (so is the term froyo, actually)! Ice cream any day!
Jeanie says:
It must have been a touch tart for your adorable boy, little funny face.
Kelly Daniel says:
That is EXACTLY how my twins reacted, at about James’ age. I even put their favorite fruits in it and no-go. They loved ice cream and popsicles, so it wasn’t the cold thing, but they HATED frozen yogurt!
KaraB says:
That was awesome! I love how even though he was not impressed, he hept taking bites.
KaraB says:
*kept (oops)
Lisa says:
Just saw the earthquake news, hoping that you and yours are okay. James is sooo cute. Little man kept trying it though. I am thinking it was the coldness that he was reacting to as he did keep taking more. Your babies need to be in modeling. Maddie has taken the runways in heaven by storm, she is the star up there! No doubt that Annie and Jamesie would do as well.
Paula R. says:
I love his faces. He’s so adorable!
Ashleigh says:
Heather, I have to say James is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. I sincerely mean that. He is an absolute doll!
Karen says:
Brain Freeze!
Plus those tender little gums….
