Oh my goodness! He is growing so super fast! I can’t believe it. Already starting to make those noises. I bet he starts talking sooner than Annie because I bet Annie likes to chatter to James and he’s going to absorb her talking.
OMG Heather….I just fell even MORE in love with this baby boy!!! My word is he ever cute!!! I love his smile & that giggle….OMG – too die for!!! NO DOUBT ABOUT IT….You & Mike Make ADORABLE Babies!!!! xoxo
I’m officially worried. My niece does not do any of that…:(
James is adorable! My mom gave me a phrase that makes babies talk. Ask them, “Where’s the gold?” in your best mom voice with some coo thrown in…and they will wrinkle foreheads, smile, wiggle, and “talk’. It’s too cute for words.
I expect some of it is temperamental. To put it politely, both of James’ parents have very gregarious personalities. The chances of James being quiet and reserved are kind of… slim.
He’s also a younger sibling. Younger siblings do everything early with another child around as model. If your niece is a firstborn, or there’s a lot more difference than 2-3 years in ages between her and her siblings, she’ll probably do things at her own pace.
Or she could be a sneaky, cheeky monkey. My daughter started babbling at around 4 months. Not that we could get direct evidence of it at first. She’d chatter quite a lot when alone, and we would clearly hear babble through the baby monitor, but as soon as mom or dad walked in the room, she’d go all “wise and inscrutable sage” on us. She kept up the pretense that she wasn’t a chatterbox for another two months.
Oh my GOD. This is too adorable for my 15 weeks pregnant person to handle!! And brings back so many memories of my now five year old son at that age. CANNOT.WAIT!!!
I must also say- it amazes me how his eyes look so much like Annabel, while he’s smile is all Maddie! Truly a beautiful reflection of both of his big sisters!
OK, seriously. Your kids are cartoon-character cute. Why aren’t companies making dolls that look like them?!?! Look into this, and become billionaires. That is all.
