Annie is a little mimic lately. If I say, “Annie, say…” she will do her best to repeat everything. It’s hilarious to hear her say, “no taxation without representation!”
I have used her mimic skills to my advantage to teach her some key phrases. My two favorites are below:
The best part is that even though she’s repeating me here, a couple days later she walked up to me and said, unprompted, “I love you mama!” followed by, “Peace out dinosaur!”

So cute. My son (3) watches Annie’s videos with me and he will say” me watch that again”. Over and over. I think he loves Annie too. After watching this one I heard him saying “peace out.”

Dang! She speaks really well. My little girl is only like 6 weeks younger. She’s imitating a ton now too, including “I love you,” but it is completely unintelligible. Annie is really good at her L sounds. Those don’t usually happen so young.

She’s so cute! Love it!
Makes me think of the first time my Sophia said “I love you” to me out of the blue. She was eating cheerios and just looked up at me and said, “Mommy, I love you.” I m-e-l-t-e-d, and said “I love you too!!”
Then she looked at her food and said “I love you too cheerios.”
I ranked right up there with cereal. Can’t beat that!
She is just PRECIOUS! This makes me really really want a baby!

When my cousins were little I loved it when they started repeating things. I would always tell them “hey say…” and then have them say something. Best thing ever. They could never say my name so Jessica always ended up being Ca-Ca, Casa, Chaka, or Jebbica. I loved it. (okay maybe not Ca-Ca, lol!)
