Mike and I have been worried about Annabel lately. She’s growing up in Los Angeles, and she’s already been to New York City, San Francisco, and Washington DC. All big cities! We decided we needed our city girl to slow down, so it was off to the country for her!
This tired mama loves the peace and calm here. I think it’s time to move!
Jennifer says:
I absolutely love how brightly Annie smiles in every video. Your videos make my day everytime
Elle says:
I want to move there too! I wonder if Brittany would take in a family of three and a crazy cat that likes to chase imaginary things up the wall. We could keep the kitty outside for creepy pond patrol.
Melissa says:
I love how she waved at the end! So cute! You guys should make her adventures into books on Shutterfly! She could have real adventure books to show her friends!
Megan says:
I’ve been following your blog for over a year but have never commeneted.
I love the country! I love the peace and quiet, but city living is so much fun as well. And your shadow is so tiny Miss Heather! I think you are in the position to give Annie the best of both worlds which is so awesome.
You have such lovely daughters, your blog is one of the few things I look forward to each week. Reading about Maddie gave me the inspiration to go into pediatric nursing, and she is just so darn cute.
Annie Y says:
I’m with Elle on this one, Brittany, can my family come live with you too?
Fiona says:
Ahhhh…..too sweet. Me and my 10 month old, Naomi watched this while eating our breakfast this morning. Naomi loved it! Thanks.
xx
Crista says:
I had to comment on the wave, too! Very princess-y, just like her :D.
Funny how 3 of the first 4 commenters (and possibly 4 of 4, but she didn’t mention it) recognized where you were. I guess we all get around in the blog world!
Lesley O says:
It’s the square pond with dead bodies floating beneath the murky water that gives the location away!
Joy says:
I was pretty sure I would see a zombie come up out of the water at any moment
Cilla says:
that last bit when she waved reminds me of the way Maddie waved in one of the videos!
Veronika says:
Awww, so sweet! I hope your tired baby bones got some rest Annie!
Sue says:
If you moved to the country…… Mommy and Daddy could buy you a pony, and everything, Annie!
But I bet L.A. would miss you!
Heather says:
I used to live out in the country, our driveway was almost 2 kms long… it’s overrated in the winter, but gorgeous from May to October!
Claire says:
So cute! Near the end I saw Maddie in her face and my heart smiled.
Brittany says:
I just wanted to say….I already found them a home with enough land for as many ponies as Annie wants.
Soooo….get your cowboy boots, baby!
Jen says:
The part about the turtle made me giggle a little.
(((Hugs))) from here!

She reminds me so much of Maddie in this video. So glad you had a chance to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet.
cindy w says:
Wait, was that an intentional “bye-bye” wave at the end? Because holy smokes, when did she learn THAT??
lauren says:
Heather,
You always manage to capture Annie’s thoughts so well..
Elizabeth says:
The country is great and very relaxing but being a big city girl myself I have to agree with Annie, get me some honking and lights and I’m at my most comfortable!
Looks like she had a great time and she’s such a ham, I love it!
Lisa says:
Love the banjo pickin in the background. She is sooo cute- and what a great voice

She is going to absolutely LOVE all these videos when she’s older
Rumour Miller says:
Add me to the list of “I love the country”.
I am living in a teeny tiny town close to a city, but it would take some arm twisting to get me to move back to that city.
Annie is a cutie!
Camie says:
She’s getting so big! I love watching her expressions— she never holds back!
Megan says:
What a beauty Baby. gosh, I wish I had like, the smallest creative bone in my body. You guys look like you have so much fun, and you’ll have those videos forever. Blessings
FreeRange Pamela says:
We actually just moved from the big city (Brooklyn) to a small town in Texas, where we have tons of room. QUITE an adjustment, let me tell you, but, so far, so good! Enjoyed this video!
Megan says:
I grinned through the whole thing. Might be my favorite Annie video yet!
Kristin says:
She is just so damned cute.
Noelle says:
Everytime you post a new Annabel video you just make my daughter’s day We love the Amazing Annabel!

Never posted before, and this is probably kinda creepy, but did I just see your brother on 20/20?
Heather says:

jen says:
she waves just like my finn does!

Marti from Michigan says:
Awww sweet baby, learning to wave bye bye!! What an adorable little cookie she is!!
Dawn @ What's Around the Next Bend? says:
The wave at the end was just TOO stinkin’ cute!
Kristin says:
That is, perhaps, the cutest thing I have ever seen.
carols says:
Aww shucks, that sure was cute! banjo pickin was perfect. And, I was just thinking…someday when my 16 year old heads to college, I do hope he picks a rural college so he can enjoy the fall beauty like I did back then (and now). Wondered what the city college falls are like (there must be a FEW trees in the city, right? lol)
Terri says:
We love the country Annie!!! Guess what else you can have if you move to the country?!?! A ponyyyyy! I would start working on them right away to get you to the country, I’m sure you can do it. Just poke your lip out and give them the eyes… maybe a tear too.. then poof! Annie has a pony! I promise, it works!!
Joan says:
Cute video but fake baby voice-overs kind of creep me out; it sounds too much like my MIL talking: “We needs us some tea in owr own widdle cuppie, yes we does!”
Pray for me. She’s horrid.
But Annie is very cute.
Barefoot Liz says:
The turtle comment made me laugh (yes, out loud.) Too cute!
roo says:
She is such a sweetie. Great video!
Sarah says:
Hehe such a cutie! Love the shadows, I remember learning about them growing up and playing with them like Peter Pan. LOVE Annie’s wave at the end!
thurieyyah says:
Is that her way of waving bye – at the end of the vid.
SHe’s too cute!
Katie says:
Hmmm. Did you ever notice you sound exactly like Elmo when you do your Annabel voice?
