Living in an apartment building, we didn’t have an access to a hose. When we needed to get our cars washed, we’d get one of those “five dollar car wash when you get a tank of gas” dealies. They were usually as effective as driving through a rain storm.
Now that we have our house, we not only have access to a hose – we actually HAVE a hose! So we can now wash our own cars, something that pleases Annabel immensely.

I am not trying to be rude, but I’m just surprised you guys drive an SUV. I know nothing about you except what I read on here, I just thought gas was very expensive in CA and since you don’t have any bad weather I was just surprised by the 4×4.
As always, you know what’s best for your family so keep on keepin’ on.

The more I think about it, I could probably answer my own question. Car seats in cars are not fun… and/or you could be a one car family which is a great way to justify the cost.
Nevermind my noisy-ness
Believe it or not that car is twelve years old (I got it in my bachelor days and used it for camping and the like). It’s all paid off now so we will keep it til it falls apart. It IS actually great for kids though!
It’s holding up VERY well! My 8 yr old Jetta VW station wagon has a crack in the windshield, a hole in the windshield wiper fluid thingie, and the back wiper doesn’t work. We also believe in driving our car until it breaks down completely, which looks like it should happen in about a year.

I also wondered if that was the case. Perhaps it’s more because I’m jealous you have an SUV. I live in Iowa out in the country on gravel and drive a car (read: death trap); makes winters much more difficult! I can’t talk my husband into it and our gas prices are a lot cheaper than yours. Stubborn men.

love love love her little suit. I am so jealous she can wear a suit, it is 66 degrees here in PA.
She is such a little model! I LOVE the dress with boots outfit. And I can hope that maybe one day ON will make those PJs in my size. I LOVE ON because I’m a plus size gal and they finally sell clothing in my size, online at least.

#1 Mike is now super awesome in my book…he drives my favorite car Jeep Grand Cherokee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a red 2004 that I paid off and gave to my son…read teenagers trash your car regardless of how much you love it
I can’t wait to get my next Jeep Grand Cherokee!
#2 I soooooo need to move to California so I can have a beautiful green landscape like you guys!
