When we explained Valentine’s Day to Annie, we tried to make it more about giving to the ones you love as opposed to receiving. Annie took to this idea quickly and said she wanted to give valentines to her friends. Since Heather loves any excuse to make things she found on Pinterest, the two of them quickly got to work.
I hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day!
Lilian says:
Oh my, could this child be any more adorable? I want to see a video of her having a major tantrum! Seriously, she is just so precious!
Caroline says:
Simply adorable!
Meyli says:
Ack so cute! And her ‘husband’ looked SO excited to see her!
Sue says:
She is definitely the cutest thing I’ve ever seen…and soooooooo smart. What a dream child she is, Heather& Mike!!
Molly says:
…and them I died of the cuteness! Seriously…best part was the face when you dumped out the bag of kisses!
Tracy says:
The husband thing kills me. She’s so adorable!
Theresa says:
This is so sweet! Her excitement is definitely contagious. I love that she named her cousin as her best friend. At 26, my cousin is still my best friend. It is an awesome friendship to have. I hope Annie and her cousin stay so close.
Natalie says:
My fav video!! Love your mom’s reaction most of all! And how much fun Heather is having making the valentines with Annie!! And Annie’s dress… This was just cuteness overload! Exclamation point!
Holly says:
So cute! Another idea I shall steal! Loved Annie’s face when she used all of her strength to help you staple the bag!
Shanna says:
Super cute!
Nellie says:
First off, if I haven’t said it before, I’m saying it now — you guys make the most enjoyable, heartwarming, often times, piss-in-my-pants hysterically funny and ALWAYS adorable Videos!!!!
Lastly, how crazy-cute are those Valentine’s gifts?! OMG, I need to follow suit and start doing things like that with my girl because the happiness as seen through Annabel’s facial expressions and by her words, are so, so precious!!!
Susan says:
That was so sweet!!
She’s absolutely darling. I really like how you two emphasized giving things to the people you love, as opposed to the things you receive. That’s a wonderful lesson.
You two are great parents.
Jane says:
Oh how sweet! Heather — either you are feeling a little better these days or you have the strength of 1000 warriors. Even when I’m feeling tip-top and at my best, I cannot do homemade valentines AND deliver them.
Heather says:
This was definitely a one-time only thing!
Chris says:
OMG. I don’t know why but I had a tear in my eye reading this. She is so sweet and to hand deliver the Valentines, I wished I had been that ambitious when my kids were that little. She is adorable and I love her dress. Happy Valentines Day!!!!
Jennifer says:
That was awesome! Annie rocked it!!
Adria says:
These are so cute and (obviously) so is she! I’d love a template for how to make that top part, if you’re willing.
Heather says:
Okay! I can try to put one together!
Erin says:
I normally just lurk, but I TOTALLY had to de-lurk to say – OH. MY. GAWD. SO freaking cute. Adorable. Her face when A) you poured out the candy and when she was helping you staple just killed me… You are such a clever, creative mommy – my mom used to do crafty stuff with us when we were little, and we LOVED it!
Mommy says:
This could not be cuter!!! You guys are so fun!!! Can you adopt me???
Julie says:
This is so cute. I love the face she makes when she presses down on the stapler.
giselle says:
I loved this!!!! It was so perfect.
And her husband is quite smitten himself, I would say!
Jeanie says:
Adorable!
Jenifer says:
I was distracted by how adorably pregnant you looked taking the photos. Cheering for you making it to viability next week!
Terra says:
She’s a leftie!! So freakin’ cute!!
Auntie_M says:
OMG!! My heart would melt & ooze out everywhere if Annie showed up with a Valentine for me!!! She was so precious making & delivering those! She’s going to always be an awesome Valentine because she learned at a young age what a joy it is to give love to others!!! (Thanks Mama & Dada Spohr!!!)
Also…Heather, that heart shirt you wore while taking pictures of Annie that showed off your baby-boy-bump: ADORABLE!!!!
