I grew up as the go-to hair person. Playing on softball teams year-round, I was braiding hair multiple times a day for YEARS. But I liked it, it was always fun for me. It’s no secret how much I loooove doing Annie’s hair, but I never expected that she’d want to do my hair so soon.
She might be a hair prodigy, y’all.

Very cute! But can’t help wondering why Rigby was barking hehe
Krissa says:
Tell Annie she did a great job! You both have gorgeous hair! It was fun to see (and hear) Rigby, too. Glad you can have moments like these. They’re life savers.
Elizabeth says:
So cute! And I love her anchor. Yay for DG legacies!
Megan says:
That’s so cute! I flinched a little though, because my hair tangles so easily and yours looks like it does too. I kept waiting for her to get the comb stuck in it.
Did Rigby have any reason for freaking out?
Jenn says:
Glad to see that she is putting smiles on your face

I was always the girl getting her hair braided. I have no idea how to do anything other than a simple braid. I have a little girl on the way, I am hoping she is born with curly hair like mine so I don’t have to figure out how to do her hair!
Kim says:
So adorable!
And I love Rigby sitting on Heather’s lap – “Oh look, a lap. I think I’ll sit there.” Gotta love dogs.

Melissa says:
So adorable! But did you notice that the video is LOTS of videos?
Trisha says:
So cute! Love that she surprised with Jasmine comparison. At least you seemed a little surprised that was the princess she chose for you
Keri says:
Can you come do my daughter’s hair? I am horrible at it!
Lisa says:
I’m still awaiting a video on a basic french “innie” braid. I can only do outtie.
And she knows to pick purple for you…
Jeanie says:
Wow! You sure have a lot of Annie videos. Love seeing Rigby, too.
Annalisa says:
Was she using a doll brush on you at first? It looked very tiny and I was like “Awwww! Doll brush! Adorable!”
pgoodness says:
Like Jasmine. I imagine that is a compliment of the highest honor in her eyes.
Lanie says:
Annie is so adorable and how great that she does you hair & that she lets you do her hair! My daughter let me brush, braid and put ponytails in her hair until she turned 4. Now I have to negotiate to even brush her hair. . .

Annie gave you a very nice compliment, Jasmine has awesome hair

Annie did an amazing job!!! Love the itty bitty brush she started with–then she must’ve been working at some tangles towards the end there: that was some rough brushing, like what I have to do with my crazy curly hair that turns into dreadlocks magically overnight! Could you send her up to brush mine out–she is waaay more enthusiastic and has waaay more energy than I do!
Plus, she puts pretty purple bows in your hair AND she gives the best compliments…she didn’t just stereotype you by saying you looked like Ariel because of the red hair color, but went all the way to the luxurious locks of Jasmine!!!! She’s right! You do have beautiful hair & I think you may have been hiding a secret identity from us all these years…you ARE Jasmine!!!!
She looks so thrilled to be doing your hair! What a special moment/memory for you!!!
I don’t know about you, but there is something about when a little child does that to your hair that is so relaxing!
Here’s a lovely story you’ve brought to mind….
Waaaay back when, when I was younger and not so gray (yay for auburn red hair color!), I used to teach preschool & for a while there, all the girls wanted to do my hair, which could either be scary (massive tangles or Medusa-looking hair by the end) or super relaxing, as in make Miss Mary fall asleep & lose her job relaxing! It was the best of times! Wonderful! I got paid to be pampered.
Then… *sigh* it was the worst of times: the kindergarten girls who came for after-school care, and loved playing with my long, thick, curly hair the most….those little darlin’s brought lice with them from the local public school and we never played Beauty Shop again.
But Miss Mary bought ALL the lice products from ALL the drug stores around and gave them to all the families just in case and became an expert nit finder and nit picker.
The End
Love you, Heather!

I need to come visit so Annie can do my hair. It needs all the help it can get!! Miss you all!
