Annie’s first-ever recital was yesterday, and here are some of the highlights.
I can’t wait for the next one!
Paula says:
Potty! I’m already a princess! I laughed and laughed!
She is adorable and very talented – she knew the moves better than the big girl beside her!
Abigail says:
I guess I may be a bit biased being a dancer myself but I think little bitty ballerinas are just about the cutest thing ever.
And I love when Annie says she’s already a princess. Duh, teacher, duh.
Lilian says:
Ooooh, cuteness overload. Hilarious and just adorable. I couldn’t take my eyes off her. So lovely!
Auntie_M says:
That was wonderful!!!!! I love little dancers recitals the best!!! They are so cute!!
I also love that Annie was so comfortable in front of a crowd! Bravo Annie!!
Also love that she had no problem leaving to go potty midway thru! ROFL!!! AND anyone with good eyesight could plainly see that Snnie is ALREADY a princess!!!
Her first recital was a stunning success & I can’t wait to see many more as time goes by!
(PS-Heather, hope you were feeling well enough to truly enjoy the night!)
Auntie_M says:
*Annie*
Snnie??? What the heck!!!
Way to go not-so-smart-phone!!!!
Margie says:
This wins the internet today. So incredibly cute!
Karen says:
Ok – she wins at a)knowing the dance moves and being naturally able to go with the music and b) being totally adorable!
Lisa says:
I can’t wait for the next one, either!
Tiffany says:
As the mother of 2 baseball obsessed boys and former dancer I thank you for sharing this precious video of Annie!
Sue says:
That was absolutely adorable!! Great job. Annie!!!!!! You ARE already a princess!!!
Meyli says:
Annie you’re so smart! I know a lot of 3 year olds who wouldn’t know to find there adults and tell them they need to go to the bathroom… they would do the potty dance and probably peevtheir pants instead…
Go Annie for knowing how to handle things like a kid much bigger than her
Jenn says:
AWESOME WORK ANNIE!!!! I MAY be a TINY bit Bias (although I don’t think so) but in my humble opinion I think Annie was the BEST dancer they had and the cutest one as well I might add!!! WAY TO GO ANNIE!!!
Angela says:
Sweet and adorable!
Zoë says:
That might be the most precious thing I have ever seen. I might now have to look into dance classes for my two girls.
Desera says:
I am at home sick with a nasty cold today and feel like I hit a brick wall going 80….this has made my day! She is the cutest little thing and a wonderful dancer! So glad that you were able to see her perform!
Just precious! Looking forward to “meeting” the Acrobat when he arrives!
Angela says:
I think I might have developed a cavity watching this. She certainly is NO shrinking violet. So sweet.
marcia says:
Seriously, you can not get any cuter than that!! That took me back about 9 years to my daughter’s first dance recital — I’m going to go home and find the video to watch with her later. It was her first & last…she ditched the toe-shoes for cleats!
Debi says:
Annie is sweet and adorable. She did a great job and I can’t wait for the next one as well!!
Karen says:
That made my day!!! So adorable!! And when she said “I’m already a princess!”, I lost it. Precious.
Years ago, when she was 3, my now 14 year old was in a recital. Costume, big stage in an auditorium. Well, her and her cousin faced the wrong way the entire dance. We were laughing so hard that we were crying.
Glenda says:
I have to go potty.
I’m already a princess.
LOVE!
She’s pretty balanced for a 3 yr old and she knew her steps better than some of the bigger girls there.
Thanks for sharing Annie with us and for putting a smile on my face on this dreary Friday morning!
Have a great weekend!
RzDrms says:
The whole video was insanely adorable, but her catching site of y’all at the very beginning — and her utterly sweet/hilarious/genuine wave and smile was what completely did me in. The having to potty was brilliant comic timing (Geaux Annie for not being afraid to take care of YOU!), and the I’m already a princess comment was, well, priceless. She’s great, Heather and Mike. I hope The Acrobat is even half as awesome.
Rachel W. says:
What a shame that Annie is so shy and doesn’t enjoy performing. She was really good! That was totally adorable.
Annalisa says:
I’m glad Annie decided to go potty. You can tell that afterward she looks more relaxed. Can’t imagine being three and trying to hold it in.
I loved the “I’m already a princess!” comment (who wouldn’t? ;))!
Vicky Wardlaw says:
Cutest thing ever!
Molly says:
Oh my gosh thank you so much for sharing this! I cried it was so adorable, and they are all so precious, and I laughed–very well done, Annie, on speaking up when you have to go potty, and on knowing very well that you are “already a princess”!!!!
Trisha says:
So cute! Loved it.
Culpepper says:
It’s a shame that Annie has no personality
She is too adorable. Thank you for sharing her with your readers.
Carrie M says:
Could she be any cuter?! Very shy too!
Thanks for sharing!
Janine says:
well that’s the cutest thing ever. she was beaming the entire time! (i’ll bet mama and daddy were too)
Courtney says:
OMG So cute! Favorite Spohr TV video yet. I cracked up at her “I have to go potty.” And “I’m already a princess!” As for the dancing, she’s a natural.
Tricia says:
Just as if she were my own I only had eyes for Annie! She was perfection including when she proclaimed her title as Princess…as if they all ready didn’t know Geesh!
Also well done on the only one in the class in full proper dance attire including her hair in a bun! And I bet all those other mothers aren’t barfing their guts out every two minutes!
Carolyn says:
How can there be so much personality in such a tiny person!? She is so sweet and so funny. Great job Annie!
KaraB says:
That was awesome, she is such a cutie! It also makes me so glad my mom didn’t have a video camera back at my first dance recital!
Jeanie says:
I have to go potty. I’m already a princess. Ha! That was so cute. Annie must have practiced a long time for this recital. Good job, Annie!
Jen says:
She is full of personality! Love it. Thanks for sharing her first recital. I can’t wait for more.
Chelsea says:
I’ve had a pretty good Friday, but watching this video put it over the top. Such a charmer!
Greis says:
I’m dying of the CUTE!!! Yay Annie!
Dianne says:
Annie is adorable. I loved watching all the baby ballerinas. My favourite part was when they were being cats, so cute! Annie looked so relaxed and confident in fact they all did, the teacher must do a good job. You must be so proud of Annie she is gorgeous!
Kelly says:
She is too cute.
I love watching them look for their markers on the floor. When my youngest step-daughter was in dance at age 3, one of the girls stopped on her marker by mistake, and wouldn’t budge. Our daughter walked up to the girl and shoved her out of the way so she could stand on her marker, then promptly crossed her arms, and stood and scowled through the rest of the program.
jacky says:
Too cute!!! I really enjoyed it!! I LOVED it! We knew she was a princess!!! LOL!! And she dances like a beautiful beautiful princess. I remember those days when my daughter was small and did this. Enjoy it!! It flies by!!
Amanda says:
I did a tots dance class and I remember the recital still! I was about 4 years old. My mom has some pictures and an old VHS which corroborated my memory of dancing on stage with a teddy bear. What great videos and pictures you’ll have to share with Annie about her stage debut! What a cutie!
michele says:
What beautiful memories you are documenting! I thought Annie did quite well. Hope you are feeling better, Heather. Break a leg Annie! Very sweet video.
