Annie Speaks 2: Electric Boogaloo!

by Mike on August 5, 2011

in Spohr TV

When we first started making Annie videos many people asked the same question: “Why don’t you make a video where we can hear what Annie really sounds like?” So Mike and I made the video “Annie Speaks,” which catches Annie in all her babbling, baby splendor!

Hard as it is to believe, six months have quickly past, and Annie is now doing a heck of a lot more than just babbling. So we decided it was high time we made another “Annie Speaks” video… one where she speaks in ACTUAL WORDS!!!

Yikes. How long before this little talker asks for a cell phone?

PS the last ten seconds made us laugh SO hard!

Thank you for this. It’s so awesome to see Annie just being Annie! I love that her voice is lower and not high and squeaky like some little girls. I bet she has the best belly laugh!

OMG!!! I just adore your daughter!! She cracks me right up!! I’m impressed with both her receptive and her expressive language skills. I love the way she said “outside” but what REALLY made me laugh right out loud was when she said “Throw The Ball!! in her deep voice of hers! My most favorite video of Maddie is when she was sitting in her highchair and you were encouraging her to say “WOW”. First she called out to Mike and “Hi Daddy”, then, she thought about for a minute and with the BEST EVER Expression on her face she said “why”. OMG is that ever a cute video. I can’t find it on your blog now for some reason. Thanks for letting us hear your girl!! I could listen to her talk while watching her expressions for hour. Sounds to me like both of your girl have the “Gift To Gab”!! Hhhmm, wonder what side of the family she got that trait from?!?!?!
!?!?

Remembered seeing this on flickr awhile ago, and looked for it again so that I could link to it. I hope that is okay, as I know it isn’t really my place.

My kids and I (especially my 4yo) are huge fans of Spohr TV. Annie has the sweetest voice, and the way she said “Throw the ball!” actually had me laughing out loud for real. :)

Unreal! My 18-month old is nowhere near talking in full sentences! And most of her words, though we know what she’s saying, don’t really come out just right. So impressed with Annie! What a smart cookie. :)

She is so unbelievably cute! And if it’s possible, hearing her do the talking makes her 100 times even cuter. I adore her!

Ahhh! She’s so cute! As a mom of three kids with speech and language delays, I’m jealous of the cute baby talk! Even using “the” at her age is awesome! I SO wish I could have had video like this of my kids. Oh well, they did make up for it later, LOL!

It’s official, my son is in love with your daughter. Watching Annie he inhaled loudly, sighed audibly and said, “Pretty Baby!” And then repeated everything she said, so he already knows she’s smart too! He’ll be 2 in a few weeks and doesn’t have much hair yet, but there’s potential, lol.

She’s adorable, and her little voice cracks us up!

What I love is how the way she sounds is so much like the way the toddlers at the school I teach at sound. American accents and South African accents are so different, but at this age, they sound the same. :) Especially “Outside”. I had such a big smile at that.

She’s an amazing little girl with a great vocabulary. Kudos on teaching her such great manners!

When she says, “Throw the ball!!!” She sounds like Pearl, the landlady, from the Will Ferrell video. If you haven’t seen it, you must! It’s on Funny or Die

What a cutie! That “Throw the ball!” was sooooo adorable! My first son talked early, too, but the second didn’t talk til he was about 3, so I’d forgotten how cute it is to hear someone so tiny express themselves. :)
