When we first started making Annie videos many people asked the same question: “Why don’t you make a video where we can hear what Annie really sounds like?” So Mike and I made the video “Annie Speaks,” which catches Annie in all her babbling, baby splendor!
Hard as it is to believe, six months have quickly past, and Annie is now doing a heck of a lot more than just babbling. So we decided it was high time we made another “Annie Speaks” video… one where she speaks in ACTUAL WORDS!!!
Yikes. How long before this little talker asks for a cell phone?
PS the last ten seconds made us laugh SO hard!
Wow! She talks SO well! Absolutely adorable. I love her little voice.
oh wow shes so grown up, such a sweet girl
Thank you for this. It’s so awesome to see Annie just being Annie! I love that her voice is lower and not high and squeaky like some little girls. I bet she has the best belly laugh!

I loved her saying her name.
OMG!!! I just adore your daughter!! She cracks me right up!! I’m impressed with both her receptive and her expressive language skills. I love the way she said “outside” but what REALLY made me laugh right out loud was when she said “Throw The Ball!! in her deep voice of hers! My most favorite video of Maddie is when she was sitting in her highchair and you were encouraging her to say “WOW”. First she called out to Mike and “Hi Daddy”, then, she thought about for a minute and with the BEST EVER Expression on her face she said “why”. OMG is that ever a cute video. I can’t find it on your blog now for some reason. Thanks for letting us hear your girl!! I could listen to her talk while watching her expressions for hour. Sounds to me like both of your girl have the “Gift To Gab”!! Hhhmm, wonder what side of the family she got that trait from?!?!?!
i’d love to see this Video of Maddie. Heather can you reply with a link or repost it for us?
Jaime Maynard says:
Yup, no link here for me either..boo.
Remembered seeing this on flickr awhile ago, and looked for it again so that I could link to it. I hope that is okay, as I know it isn’t really my place.
My kids and I (especially my 4yo) are huge fans of Spohr TV. Annie has the sweetest voice, and the way she said “Throw the ball!” actually had me laughing out loud for real.
“Throw the ball!”
Oh, the dictatortot stage… cute, but sometimes trying (not this part obvs, but I’ve been there with mine)
That was my favorite line too THROW THE BALL!!
ok. I seriously want her. She has got to be the cutest little doll ever!
Awe, she is getting so big. “THROW THE BALL!!!” Haaaaaaa-hahahahahaha. Too cute.
She is adorable! you and Mike are so blessed to have 2 such beautiful and wonderful daughters!
I love when she screams “yay” after she kicks the ball. It’s adorable.
Jennifer Dawn says:
Unreal! My 18-month old is nowhere near talking in full sentences! And most of her words, though we know what she’s saying, don’t really come out just right. So impressed with Annie! What a smart cookie.
She is so unbelievably cute! And if it’s possible, hearing her do the talking makes her 100 times even cuter. I adore her!
Oh my goodness!! The sweet little “Thank you!” was just precious. I loved the video and the awesome kick at the end was a sure sign of a future soccer player
(((HUGS))) from Florida
Absolutely precious. I LOVE toddler voices. So sweet!!
My daughter was/is an early talker too. It must be the evil genius side of them.
Shes so smart! I loved “bapple”
cutest little bug ever! so nice to put words with the sweet face! thanks for taking the time to put that together for us & sharing your family with us ‘interwebbers’:)
Besides the title, which absolutely made me crack up…I’ll call him Cece 2…
Anyway…THROW THE BALL! is the best ever. LOVE her!
omg…she is SO freaken cute!
I especially loved the very enthusiastic THROW THE BALL!! She is such a little performer
Annie is SOOOO cute. What a doll!
I think her voice sounds so much like Maddie’s.
Your girls are adorable

I love “throw the ball! YAAAYY!!!” That’s awesome.
Ahhh! She’s so cute! As a mom of three kids with speech and language delays, I’m jealous of the cute baby talk! Even using “the” at her age is awesome! I SO wish I could have had video like this of my kids. Oh well, they did make up for it later, LOL!
So cute!! And I have to mention that hubby and I say electric boogaloo all of the time after things that end in 2!
so cute!!! adorable!!!
It’s official, my son is in love with your daughter. Watching Annie he inhaled loudly, sighed audibly and said, “Pretty Baby!” And then repeated everything she said, so he already knows she’s smart too! He’ll be 2 in a few weeks and doesn’t have much hair yet, but there’s potential, lol.
She’s adorable, and her little voice cracks us up!
She is so adorable. I just love her.
What I love is how the way she sounds is so much like the way the toddlers at the school I teach at sound. American accents and South African accents are so different, but at this age, they sound the same. Especially “Outside”. I had such a big smile at that.
She’s an amazing little girl with a great vocabulary. Kudos on teaching her such great manners!
Ashley M says:
This was so funny! Thanks for the laughs and smiles. She’s getting so big.
she’s ADORABLE. adorable!!!
and her “thank you” is awesome
Annie is seriously hysterical! Both my husband and I were in stitches over her house hunting video. She has such personality and is so cute! Thanks for sharing her with us!
I have to agree , she talks so well. And what a little doll she is!!
Amber T says:
oh MY goodness. throw the ball is GREATNESS.
Bossy much? “Throw tha ball!!”
Love love love!!
Miss Priss is a Boss! I love it!
Brenda Vicario says:
My little one says “babble” for apple too lol:) He is 20 months old, if you lived closer than we could playdate:(
Alexandra :) says:
AWW just gotta love her <333
Oh I just love her so much! Feel free to drop her off any time with me for a date night – I’ll take good care of her.
And yes, like others I was amazed at “Throw the ball!” She speaks. so. well!
When she says, “Throw the ball!!!” She sounds like Pearl, the landlady, from the Will Ferrell video. If you haven’t seen it, you must! It’s on Funny or Die
OMG! This is by far my favorite video you’ve posted. “THROW THE BALL!” said with authority! I love it!! Thanks for those early talking stages reminders. I forgot how cute they are at that age.
Expat Mom says:
What a cutie! That “Throw the ball!” was sooooo adorable! My first son talked early, too, but the second didn’t talk til he was about 3, so I’d forgotten how cute it is to hear someone so tiny express themselves.
This is the cutest thing ever. I watched it three times. Someone needs to make an animated GIF of those last 10 seconds! Priceless.
And I echo those who said she speaks extremely well for her age!
Kayla N. says:
This is so adorable! Eighteen months later and I still can’t get over how much like Mike she looks.
Funnelcloud Rachel says:
So cute! “THROW THE BALL!” was hilarious. And any little kid saying “UH OH” always cracks me up!
my 17 month old watched it with me three times. He’s quite fond of the music. and the ball. And he said hi to her the whole time. very cute.
That might actually be the cutest child I have ever seen in my life.
O.M.G!!!! I love this video. And the last 10 seconds made me crack up. Can’t believe how big she’s getting.
