As I mentioned, Annabel tagged along on my whirlwind trip to visit my friend Maya. It was Annie’s first time out of state and her first time on a plane. And, as I also mentioned, she did amazing on both flights. She made lots of friends,
and didn’t even peep during a mid-air diaper change.
The flights were just bookends to a very fun first trip for Miss Annabel.

Okay – I have a pressing question about your stroller.
I am going to be popping out my first in a few months and it’s time to start thinking about things other than adorable little outfits. I noticed that your stroller is parent-facing (and I would assume it also turns away). I love that idea! Would you mind sharing the type of stroller and whether you like it? Thanks!!!
It’s an Orbit, and it’s a fantastic stroller. The seat can turn so that the baby faces you, faces forward, or when you are at a restaurant, it can turn to face sideways. I highly recommended it!

yep, on my lap for both flights. I had her in a baby carrier thingy…the one I used is a LilleBaby, and it has a harness INSIDE of the carrier, so she was double-strapped in. But I don’t think I could fly with her strapped to me again…she weighs too much!
Once again – you’ve managed to put what seems like ALL OF THE CUTE in the ENTIRE WORLD into one blog post, nay, one video.
I love it! Those are going to be such hilarious videos for her to watch while she’s growing up when you tell her stories of her life before she can remember..and then cringe at as you show her first boyfriend and she yells at you to stop…and then loves again when she realizes how freakin’ cool of parents she has

That is an awesome video! Annabel is so cute and I love all of the “on location” shots you did of her.
What software do you use for your editing? I’ve been trying to figure out a good program to use. The one that I have doesn’t cut it anymore.
We use iMovie, it’s a Mac program. But before I had a Mac, I used windows movie maker. iMovie is SO. EASY. I mean, MIKE can use it and he barely knows how to turn the computer on (true story). Movie Maker is a little bit harder to learn but it can do all the same things!
Thanks for the info. I have an old version of Windows Movie Maker. I was working on a montage for my daughter’s birthday and it was quite the pain. Kept freezing up and when I burned the DVD to show at the party only part of it was there. Maybe that’s a computer issue rather than a Movie Maker issue. It seems like my Movie Maker always does that though. I should probably look at upgrading. I’ve seriously considered getting a Mac. I might have to do it just for iMovie.

I use iMovie for the Mac. It is AMAZINGLY easy. Before that, I made Maddie’s videos on Windows Movie Maker. It’s still an easy program, although it’s not quite as intuitive as iMovie. Hope that helps!!!

It’s an Orbit. I LOVE IT. It has an infant seat, and then an attachment for an older kid. I used the bigger attachment for travel because it folds down more compact.
