Annabel’s Favorites

in Spohr TV

I know a lot of people and their kids enjoy watching Annabel’s movies, but in our house, we watch Madeline’s movies. When her sister comes on the screen, Annie lights up like it’s Christmas morning. So, for today’s movie, Annie wanted to introduce you to one of her favorites.

Seeing Annie smile at her sister…it’s beyond words.

I’ve seen this video of Maddie so many times and it is so precious. I got my daughter that little tykes guitar for her first birthday back in April and she loves it, especially the whammy bar. :)

This is adorable! It made me cry, I remember watching that video and thought it was so funny. My favorite Maddie video is the one where she is learning how to crawl and she gets distracted by a toy animal. I think it was a duck. So cute and funny! Thanks for sharing!

I just love that video. My own Babess is very musical too, and will also sing along. I’m sure that, growing up in such a talented family, Annie will also be a great performer!

So precious. That video of Maddie has always been a favorite of mine. I love how you and Mike “played” with her so much. It’s great that you got so much of that play time on video!

(off topic — ever since your blog has had it’s recent changes, my commentLUV doesn’t show my last post anymore. Any idea why that happened?)

Wow those beautiful daughters of yours never cease to amaze! Heather thank you so much. I just love to see Maddie singing. I have been thinking about you since reading your last post. To be without that glorious girl, to pass that building on 15th, the tsunamis of emotion and grief must at times seem endless. Annabel’s joy in seeing her big sister making music(and Annie just being Annie too) must help you and Mike keep your heads above water. Keep swimming. Sending you love and gratitude.

Good choice, Annie! This is one of my favorites, too. :)

By the way, I love the new website format. The font reminds me of “Bewitched” (nose wrinkle & head nod, can’t resist!).

it brought tears to my eyes! She was just so beautiful! I love that Annie smiles when she sees her as if they know each other! And you know i bet they do! In some spirtual way they do! Annie is the angel that was brought to you from maddie! Maybe that sounds weird but it’s true! She’s a sprit that will always be with you always!

I like this. The video made me cry, though that was probably the opposite of what it was supposed to do. I haven’t sat down and figured out the timing- lol- but I think Annie was conceived after Maddie died, so maybe Maddie had a chance to talk to her before she came down to earth. :)

I am glad Annabel will always have these memories of her sister to see, but it breaks my heart to think they will never get to make music together.

Maddie always makes me smile, she is so adorable in that video especially when she sings Ohhhhhhhh… I recently found an old video my father made when he got his first video camera. He always whistled, at the time it was annoying, but when I put that video in and heard him whistling in the backround as he filmed I lost it. The video ended with him holding my new baby cousin in our kitchen he had set up the camera to record himself talking to her…unfortunately he chopped off his head in the video but you could see her perfectly…I had to laugh. I miss him so much, I wish I had more of those videos. I’m glad you have those Maddie movies. Hugs.

I’d forgotten how beautiful she was. Her hair and her big bright eyes especially. It’s hard to believe that she’s not here anymore when I see her. It’s stupid. She’s so pretty and sweet natured. Why can’t she be in the new videos with Annabel, too? I hate it. I have tears in my eyes right now.

Yesterday my I was surfing some blogs while my daughter was having breakfast. She looked over and saw Maddie’s picture on someone’s sidebar and asked me who the baby was, so I decided to tell her about Maddie and then come look at some pictures with her. While she loved the piano video (every time I ask if she wants swimming or gymnastics lessons she answers ‘piano’ so she might be a bit biased there) her FAVORITE is Maddie’s Noises. She asked me to play it over and over, and again today that’s the only one she wanted to see. *g* She loves Maddie’s eyes (as do I!)
