Rigby is such a sweet dog. We have a cat, not a dog, but she keeps me on my toes, literally. She loves to trip me several times a day when I’m going up and down the stairs. While I’m making my little girl’s breakfast, I’ll hear a MEOOOWWW b/c my daughter likes to “play” with her by pulling her tail.
Just when I think I can finally sit down and relax for a bit my cat will puke up a few hairballs then take a long nap in the window. If her hairballs are in an out of the way place, I put a few tissues over it and just have my husband clean it up when he gets home since I’m such a good wife.
Then at night while I’m drifting off to sleep, she’ll come into the bedroom and do these awful meowing sounds until we give her some treats. And some people say cats are easier than dogs.
We had our two old yellow labs when my kids were young and they had my kids trained to drop stuff from the highchair. Now my new generation of labs just put their heads in my son’s lap to get the food.
You mean how does our three dogs and eight puppies spend the day????Thankfully, we are down to three and after today, two (one of which we are keeping)…love your videos and I can’t figure out how you have time and the creativity to keep them coming! Thanks!
Rigby is too cute. I have a little white dog, too, but she has a HUGE attitude problem. Still, she and her brother the puggle have been real lifesavers for me in the last few months. No matter how terrible things get, a warm puppy can almost always bring a smile to your face. Or at least snuggle close while you cry.
Max sleeps alot, and then tries to teach my sister’s dog, Gilbert, how to play chase and wrestle. Gilbert is a slow learner but he’s starting to respond. (G used to rough-house with his mom all the time, but hasn’t since she left the building. Maybe he thinks he’s being disloyal to her memory or something.) Max does like to find a spot where the sun comes through the window and lay there to get his solar energy pack restored. Then he uses that pack to eat and sleep some more.
I have an 8 yr old shihtzu named Mia. She’s up at 830am. Outside to do her business. Gets a treat. Drinks water. Sleeps. All. Day. Long. Follows me around the house. When hubby gets home from work is ready to play. Dinner. Watches tv. Plays some more. Outside before bedtime. Bedtime 1130pm.
Funny you should ask. I just got a text from my husband, who is home from work today, saying the dog had “elected to stay in bed” this morning. It is now almost noon, and my dog is curled up in our king-sized bed, by himself, sleeping. A dog’s life, indeed.
Too cute! And I totally subject my golden retriever to “American Idol,” too. After years of covering his ears with those big paws, though, I think he’s finally getting into it! Rudy always has an early favorite!
My dog (Sunny) spends her day pretty much like Rigby does. Except she LOVES story time with the kids – sits in front of me in between the kids, watches me turn the pages, turns her head to the side as I read. Hilarious! Lots of sitting under the dinner table hoping that something delicious will fall. Squirrel patrol, bone chewing, lots of hugs and pats from the kids, gets dressed up sometimes in people clothing, which she doesn’t mind, and snuggles in at night with one of three toasty warm kids. Not a bad life, being my dog! : )
Rigby is adorable. I just love that their is furry pets in our world. I would be lost if their wasnt. We have 2 dogs ( one that is 10 and showing her age and the other is 7 and 1 cat , that is such a bib bay and thinks all my time should be spent holding him.And I wants some birds, I love then.
I love your videos Heather… so cute!! ; )
