    My little guy just had pneumonia last month and he was exactly as you are describing Annie. His temp stayed at 104 and only went down to 100 when he got doses of Tylenol and Motrin, but would shoot right back up to 104 3 hours later. He has epilepsy, so high fevers like that are dangerous for him so when they found the pneumonia on the x ray, I had to bring him back to the Drs office immediately for the antibiotic shot which worked immediately to break the high fevers. He was still miserable for about 4 more days but the fever never returned so she should be good really soon

    There is this warming patch that can be placed on the skin before a shot. The patch does get pretty warm but the warmer it gets the more numb the skin becomes. My son used some of those when he needed a needle prick once. I love that stuff and would pay ANYTHING to always have that from now on.
