I wish that I could say that I haven’t done this exact same thing….but my backseater was placed there because she could not be trusted to walk or hold onto the back. I think this looks very organized and efficient
I admire you for being able to go with the flow! My son was always a pleaser and would do whatever I asked him to do, not so much with my daughter. If she refused to walk, we just went home. There were many times we left the grocery store or Target because she had a very strong opinion of how we were going to shop…….The good news is, she grew out of it and shewas a delightful teenager, now a college junior! You look like you have it under control
Yeah, I will leave most of the time, but yesterday we HAD to get some stuff, and since we were there I just decided I was going to be more stubborn than both of them
Good for you! Looks like you got it done. I remember those days when stuff had to get done and the kids were not helping. Sadly, it goes by waaaaaay too fast. You are going to blink and Annie and James will be in college. Seriously, this time is so fleeting, just enjoy their company, smiles and laughs.
Hahah…so very cute though. And if you made it through a grocery shopping, success!! Question for you, maybe future post. How do you like grocery shopping at Target? I love Target but just recently introduced the grocery section in our area. Do you find them competitive price wise? Just wondering.
I like it, for the most part. It doesn’t have everything I need (certain cuts of meat, brands, etc), but when I need staples it’s great. It helps to know how much your local grocery store usually charges. Sometimes my grocery store is cheaper for milk, sometimes Target is. I have the Red Card, so I get 5% off all purchases, even after coupons, which makes shopping there pretty attractive. But, it definitely hasn’t replaced my grocery store completely.
I put my daughter on time-out one time in the middle of Target….. she was just being awful, but I HAD to finish my shopping. I stood behind her and cried as she faced the wall next to the paper towels….. and then a total stranger walked by, patted me on the shoulder, and said “good job, mom” and kept on walking. Made my night and I’ll never forget it.
Hahahaha. That’s my kids, except that baby will only be calm in his infant car seat, and the other randomly decides she want to ride the cart. The other day we amused our Trader Joe’s cashier when I showed up with groceries in my hands and a cart only containing g the kids. I really needed those groceries.

He looks so comfy back there. Wish I could be pushed around Target leisurely sometimes, and by sometimes I mean every time I go there.

Been there, done that!

I remember sitting in the main part of the cart at Costco while in elementary school. (It helped that I have always been the shortest person I know.)

I’m reliving those days with my boys and am *so* glad they are teenagers…for the most part.
