dear Heather,
you have lived an awful thing which no parent must ever live. It is absolutely normal to have feelings about it because it shows that you’re thinking, you have memories and memories aren’t always pleasant. it’s a great gift that you can express your feelings in a piece of paper because it’s like “katharsis”, like cleaning yourself from the bad thoughts. please stay the way you are, because you help your Maddie stay alive forever
Rigby, don’t worry, it’s the same in my house. I have to get into trouble to get attention these days, ever since the baby came along. Some tips from one dog to another: pull something really stinky out of the trash and shread it on the kitchen floor, steal mom’s food off of her plate when she is distracted by the baby, and sleep on dad’s pillow when he isn’t in the bedroom. Let me know if these tips work for you.
Heather,
I have never left a comment, but read your blog every day. Your ability to put on paper your deepest feelings and thoughts is amazing! Don’t let the negative bother you, and remember how many people you help every day. You and your family is loved around the world. That includes my little world in Texas.
Awww….poor Rigby…..no one loves him now, lol. Such a cute picture. And I know he is plenty loved. Wait till Annabel starts crawling after him all the time and he doesnt know where to hide, lol.
Poooooooor Rigby! Pica and Biscuit feel your pain. Let’s get these 3 dogs together with some special “couch peanut butter”. I’m sure they’ll cheer right up
