Time out. Such a bummer. For her.

thus begins the terrorist years and yet your sweet girl isn’t even officially a toddler.
now where does she get this from?
still, she is so precious.

omg i cant deal with the cuteness. Whata drama queen- you have a tiny heather on your hands.
November 23rd, 2010 at 12:13 am
I’d be offended if you weren’t 100% right.
November 23rd, 2010 at 12:10 am
And she has the “I’ve been wronged and I’m mad about it!” face already.
Good luck… 🙂

I love her face! Priceless!
November 23rd, 2010 at 1:23 am
She is SOOOOOOO adorable. Adorable!

I’m so impressed that she would stay there. We eventually had to shift time out from sitting on the stairs to our 2 year old having time out in her bedroom. She wouldn’t stay seated and keeping her there turned into more of a punishment for us.

I cracks me up whn I have to put my two-year old in “time-out”….right when she gets to time out she yells, “I ready be a good girl”! :0)

Am I the only mom that saw the photo and thought, “Don’t fall on the bricks?” Yeah, we’ve had a few ER trips (with three kids and all..) though ours were due to the entertainment center (that we no longer have).
She is sooo cute. 😀

Ha, that’s what I was thinking! Don’t tip over! They’re bottoms are so round at that age. I still remember the reddish purple imprint of a metal grate acroos my 10month old girl’s face.
November 23rd, 2010 at 3:55 am
Her facial expression is classic – “I will get you Mom if it is the last thing I do”
November 23rd, 2010 at 5:04 am
I don’t know if I could deal with that sweet face, she’s just so stinkin cute!
November 23rd, 2010 at 5:18 am
Love the expression on her face 🙂
November 23rd, 2010 at 5:34 am
Her expression is HILARIOUS.
This baby girl seriously cracks me up!!!
November 23rd, 2010 at 6:00 am
Her expression is amazingly awesome!
Her expression is FABULOUS.
November 23rd, 2010 at 6:20 am
The look on her face screams “EEEEKKKK!!!” Absolute hilarity.
November 23rd, 2010 at 6:39 am
HER FACE CRACKS ME UP. SHE LOOKS PISSED THAT YOU WOULD EVEN THINK ABOUT PUTTING HER IN TIME OUT.
November 23rd, 2010 at 6:47 am
Oh no, already? The adorableness of this scene would totally have me cracking up.
November 23rd, 2010 at 7:08 am
I am laughing here, and wondering quietly to myself if I should pick up a time out chair, too!
She is such a little ball of energy, Heather…what a little rabble rouser you have!
November 23rd, 2010 at 7:22 am
Her expression is too funny!
November 23rd, 2010 at 7:33 am
Awwww Annie, we were rooting for you NOT to be in the chair. The face is priceless though!
November 23rd, 2010 at 7:46 am
inquiring minds want to know:
what was the crime???
November 23rd, 2010 at 7:49 am
Hey, we all have to learn how to play nice. I love the time out concept. I don’t think it will hold her back for long looking at her face, but I think its good for her to get some boundaries… She surely lives life to the fullest! Good on you Anny…
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:27 am
You take that sweet little princess out of time out and banish the chair for good. She’s too cute and charming and wonderful to be put in the time out chair.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:41 am
I have to ask..How long does she actually stay put on the time out chair? I cannot get my 2 year old to stay longer than about 30 seconds.
Annie is so sweet, I can’t imagine what she did to get there? 🙂
November 23rd, 2010 at 4:13 pm
Oh that face!!! I saw the pic & just started laughing out loud. Ohman are you ever going to have your hands full. LOLOL!!!
November 23rd, 2010 at 7:02 pm
I gotta ask……how did your lil baby girl get herself into the time out chair?
November 23rd, 2010 at 7:42 pm
she bit her daddy!
November 23rd, 2010 at 7:14 pm
Oh my goodness how cute is she??
Starting Time Out was soooo hard with my little one, but hold firm! It’s the best thing you can do for her 🙂
November 25th, 2010 at 2:18 pm
What a face! LOL. But are you seriously doing time out at 10 months? What for? I see that you responded that she bit Daddy, but time out is not going to stop her 🙂 Most parenting ‘experts’ don’t recommend time out until the child is two and can actually understand, to some degree, consequences. She’s not thinking “That was wrong and I’ll never do it again”, but “why do you hate me suddenly” 🙁
November 25th, 2010 at 2:47 pm
Well, she hasn’t done it again since. We do what works for us.
