But just think how much mess you can make by smearing it everywhere while pretending to eat it!

At least it’s not in her hair…yet. My daughter loves black beans (it makes for nasty diapers) and although she uses a fork, she seems to know when we’re hoping she won’t make a mess so she’ll eat some with her fingers and then she’ll decide to play peek-a-boo.

She’s really giving it some thought!

She is definitely and diligently weighing the pros and cons.

Its obvious that you dress Miss Annie to the nines, but when and if she decides she likes spagetti (ms) you might want to have the No Shirts at the Table Dinner for her. My niece does that with her two little girls and I think that might be part of the appeal of spagetti for them. (They’re 4 and 2 – not a tradition that will continue for long, obviously.)

Great picture! Lucky that she keeps the clip in her hair

She is so cute – my son STILL does that, and he’s 20 months old!
Annie’s hair is just about the cutest ever, btw. Adorable!
