After I wrote about Annie completely preferring Mike, something in her changed – it was so dramatic that I was pretty certain she had read my blog. What, a 22-month-old can TOTALLY read sometimes. Anyway, now she comes to me and lets me rock her and cuddle her. I am so happy.
Molly says:
Sweet girl. This makes my heart so happy for you.
Jenny says:
Yeah!!!!
My uterus just screamed “I want one of those!”. What a sweet girl.

Sweetness!
Rachel R. says:
I’m so happy for you. My daughter is 17 months and she’s thankfully a mama’s girl. My heart went out to you when I read that post the other day. I’m glad Annie is coming around. She seems like a feisty, independent girl… but even they need their mama’s sometimes.
Colleen says:
Those moments are the best- especially at THAT age! Enjoy!
Rebecca says:
So did you take my advice and have Mike take her to get some new vaccines?
Or have you hidden chocolate chips in your pocket?
Abby says:
This makes me happy Heather!
Sue says:
So very happy for you, Heather! Annie is an exceptionally smart little girl, and maybe she was feeling your hurt. Good job, Annie!!!!
Courtney says:
I got my 23 month old to cuddle by saying, “Are you my baby?” and she ‘pretends’ to be my baby- meaning she will lay in my arms like a baby.
It’s not as good as it sounds because when you ask her what babies do, she cries (mimicking a baby). Thus whenever I hold her ‘like a baby’ she cries.
But at least I get to hold her!
Courtney says:
Love!
Lanie says:
That is so great! Take care.
