Madeline and Annabel were really “grabby” babies who always (accidentally) yanked on Rigby’s fur. James hasn’t reached that stage yet, so Rigby feels safe cuddling up next to him (especially when he’s sleeping).

Oh my goodness….such a wonderful dog!
We had to give away our bichon because he bit our infant son twice. It was so hard but the vet thought it was for the best. He said since we moved so much with my career, he had formed all of his attachment on us instead of his property. When our son came along, he snapped. We have him to friends without children and visited him often. He has now passed but I think about how much I would have loved it if he would have accepted our son and they could have grown together. Sniff sniff. Yay for Rigby.

I bought those same jammies for my little Silas!

Snuggly pups are the best. I have a picture just like this of me and my pup snuggling on the couch together that was just taken recently

I have pictures of one of my kitties sleeping next to my daughter as a baby. She also wasn’t a super grabby baby, but more than made up for it by tackling one of them to the ground as a toddler. As a result, both cats want nothing to do with the baby.
Leslie says:
Your baby is ADORABLE!!
Jordan Taylor says:
oh be still my heart! If that’s not the most precious picture I’ve seen all day.
PS… the daily photo is back to working for me! I dunno what was happening. I think my internet connection was being shoddy. (I’m in a college dorm. Explains so much!)

My “baby” is now 15 but my 12 yo Sheltie still considers him her boy. She pouts if he does not acknowledge her right away when he comes home and she mopes around until he does come back. Fur babies are great!
