Both of my kids have bruises like this ALL the time, and usually it’s from something like that. The biggest joke around our house is “first rule of baby fight club – you DON’T talk about baby fight club!”
a tip my momma taught me…. dab some wet salt (with a damp towel, cloth, or even just w/ your finger) on the Boo Boo (as soon as possible after incident) and it will help prevent/minimalize the bruising . It really works!!
Oh! Poor little girl! I’ll never forget when my daughter first started pulling herself into a standing position and slammed into the side of our entertainment center, bumping her head which caused a big bruise. I think it traumatized me more than her.
Aw… Mine stumbled into the side of the coffee table and cut open his eyelid a few weeks after learning to walk. I was so worried that the doctor at the ER would like, call CPS from all of his bruises.
OOhh Sweetie!!! Walking is HARD at first, isn’t it? But you know the best part about falling???? Hugs, Kisses and…..BANDAIDS!!!!!!!! Ohhhh Annie….WAIT UNTIL YOU GET TO WEAR A BANDAID!!! WHOA!!! PRETTY COOL STUFF!!!!!!!! NOT that I want you to EVER have an “Owie” cuz I Definitely DON’T!!!

Oh no! Hope it heals soon Annie!

I bet the toy box has a dent in it. What I gather from your writing is that Annie is a tough cookie. I hope the bruise clears quickly. Poor thing.

Welcome to toddlerhood. My son had a nasty habit of bashing his face on something just before we went to the doctor’s office. She will survive this.
