Over the last six weeks I have:

a) Finished a huge project
b) Wound down a contract job
c) Helped organize the class booth at Annie’s school carnival
d) Started job searching (see b, above)
e) Had two ear infections (one current)
f) Had a sinus infection (also current)
g) Clocked about…4 hours of sleep a night, on average

But this weekend, I am going to start taking better care of myself. I won’t have any current contracts (which is terrifying and the worst part of freelancing), won’t have any big projects looming, and the school carnival will be over. I’m going to go to bed at a normal hour, I’m going to get back to eating healthy, and start exercising beyond walking to and from Annie’s school. Burning the candle at both ends has basically made my body revolt, and I can’t remember the last time I’ve felt this physically and mentally crappy. I’m nervous about not having any freelance work lined up (especially at this pricey time of year), but the silver lining is the extra time will allow me to get a handle on myself and start moving in the right direction.

…orrrrrrr I might sleep for 100 straight hours, only waking to eat a pint of chocolate peanut butter ice cream. It’s a toss-up at this point.
