What a little climber. You need to take her mountain climbing…….just make sure you teach her how to climb out of the box and down the mountain before you take her any higher.
Her cheeks are the best cheeks ever and that smile is the best! She’s beautiful Heather!
Personally, I’d rather them crawl in to the toy box than pull everything out and strew it across the house. She’s so cute though, I’m sure it’s hard to get mad at her.
I have given up trying to keep my climber out of the toy box. My new one is trying to keep her from climbing on top of it, then standing up and dancing. Seriously.
Mummy and Daddy Spohr might discourage climbing in the toy box but ‘we’ all know that they are being spoil sports and ‘we’ know its fun and she wont stop! Lol.
May have to send you a copy of a photo of my son – he would balance on his belly across the washing basket in front of the washing machine and climb half way in (front loading before you panic!) and either empty or fill the washer. It was hilarious! He would also sit for HOURS in the washing/ironing baskets
hah! We strongly discourage climbing in the toy box at our house too. Primarily because my potty training 2 year old niece now waits until we put her nap time diaper on and lay her down for her nap, once she is reasonably sure we believe she is asleep, she promptly empties it, climbs inside and POOPs in the diaper while sitting in her toy box….sigh….
I just want to say that letting her climb into the toybox is a GREAT activity! My oldest son is 25 now and when he was a toddler, I woud sit him on top of the toys in his toybox. He would sit there for a LONG time and play with toy after toy after toy, dropping them off the side as he emptied the box one toy at a time. After a while he would be sitting in the bottom of the empty box. For me, this was a great way to keep him busy (and in one place) for awhile to allow me to get some household chores done. Let her play in the toybox, it’s great fun!!
Oh please! You got it on clearance at Target! What’s she gonna hurt!? Would you rather she dumped them all out all over the floor so she could be one with them!? I think not!;)
P.S. This was meant to be funny, not snotty and snobby and eye-rolly…so no one jump me!;) Love, hugs and blessings to you all!?
I was recently venturing through a pile of old photos and this photo reminded me of a few I found. My brother and I used to climb into our toy boxes (and in his case, any box, draw, or cupboard he could find). There’s even a photo of me somewhere where I look just like Annie and am giving the same face. It gave me a serious case of de-ja-vu to see that photo.
Melissa says:
I hope she is always so adventuresome!

Adventuresome? Hell yes.

So cute! Next step… breaking free from the gated community!

She looks quite pleased with herself. Little rascal.

Well there’s your problem! That’s not a toy box, it’s a rocket, or pirate ship or tractor *g*
TamaraL says:
My thoughts exactly!! Toybox…yeah right!
Penbleth says:
I told you kids prefer boxes. Annie is like a lifesize doll in there, so very cute.
Skye says:
That expression is priceless!
Brandy says:
I would rather my kids be in the box than the toys on the floor!

She does look quite proud of herself! Go Annie!!! Sorry mommy!

The look on her face is priceless. My daughter loves climbing in our dirty clothes basket. If she only knew, ick.

She just wanted to be closer to her toys, is all. Haha! =P

Haha…I just posted this today as well. Sophie has decided that’s where she wants hang out. I guess better then standing on all the chairs or tables.
