I like to hold James against my chest, and Annabel has begged me to let her hold James the same way. I finally gave in, much to Annabel’s delight. She loved rubbing and gently patting James’ back, and he liked it so much he fell asleep after a few minutes.

OK, that just killed me dead. So sweet.

I absolutely love the way that her arms are wrapped around her sweet baby brother!

All those worries about how Annabel would adjust–looks like it’s working out fine. She is the picture of contentment in this photo.
And on an unrelated note, it’s amazing that Annie’s teeth are reflecting a lot of bone growth, with more space between them. I cannot even believe she is old enough for that to be happening!
Paula says:
Well, I think you and Mike could have a date night and leave big sister in charge… His hair is amazingly beautiful and I love that he is bonding with Annie.
kakali says:

It so precious. I remember when I had my little one, the older sibling wanted to hold her and I kept thinking she is to small. I finally gave in and I am so glad I did, because they will eventually get to big to hold. Its so nice to see all the love you are surrounded with.

wow…she has the “mothering” gene. My daughter did not respond so favorably to her little brother. Enjoy it all, especially the cuddles with your boy.
