With Mother’s Day tomorrow, some of us (ahem Mike) are scrambling for last-minute gifts for our moms. I’ve put together a few quick and easy DIY ideas that I’m sure Mike’s mom any mom would love.
There are tons of free collage templates out there – you can download them for Photoshop, or you can find collage-builders online that you can then print at home. Slap that puppy in a frame and you’re good to go!
I plan on color-correcting this picture of my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and then framing it next to a picture of me, my mom, and Annie. Every year I’ll replace it with a new photo of the three of us.
This is one of my favorite gifts to give. It’s so easy, and the best part is that it’s totally fine to make a new one every year as your child grows. Annie is due for a new one!
My mom is getting a little something-something of the iron-on variety.
If you want to take things up a notch, you can buy your mom a photo printer (my mom loves hers). Don’t forget the card!
I am also going to attempt some photo magnets this year, I’ll let you know how they turn out.
Anyone have any last-minute ideas for Mike?

Wow, this is great! Thank you very much for sharing this idea. I was looking for last minute gifts for my mom today and I just think these are lovely. How much is that frame?
Heather says:
I usually get my frames at Michael’s or Aaron Bros for like, $5!

Funny thing is, I made my mother a photo collague as a last minute gift just BEFORE I saw this post this morning! What program do you use? I use pizap, probably not as sophisticated as whatever you have.

Oooh, I love that apron!
