we are visiting cousins this week and there is hope. my 3 year old morning girl drives me bonkers, but their 9 year old morning girl made us waffles yesterday and is making us muffins this morning while playing with the 3 year old. morning people can make breakfast and entertain little ones! It is beautiful.
I’ve never commented on a photo post before, but I absolutely LOVE this one. With Annie running around. and you and Mike in bed in the background it is priceless.
I have 5 kids. I thank sweet baby Jesus EVERY DAY that only one of them is a morning person, and that she’s now seven so she can get her own cereal and a book. LOL! Even my 6 month old knows morning doesn’t REALLY start till after 9… I’ll be even happier when he realizes how glorious it is to wake up at 10:15 haha!
The energy of a toddler is amazing. If it could be bottled, meth dealers would be out of business ASAP.
Clearly though, this continues to be depleted until approximately age 16, when you will spend a huge amount of time trying to get them out of bed and do chores and go to school.

You can nearly see the energy coming from her in this picture.
There is nothing like the energy of a toddler!
