My 3yr old was given a whistle at the State Fair this week, I just smiled and thanked the man then quickly made it dissapear. I’ll spend $ on a quiet toy instead of a free noisy one!
I feel your ear pain. It is also torture to listen to your child when she is just learning to play violin. But she is SUPPOSED to practice. headphones, anyone?

HA!! My husband is a musician so he has a ton of recorders and we gave one to Noah (who’s 3) and I completely agree. VERY bad idea!
