She loves this box, she’s made it her briefcase. Also, she is wearing a dress that I wore when I was a toddler. She wears it better.

She’s so adorable!

Oh I love this photo! She looks like she is saying Hurry UP I’m going to be late from work! Parents are such trouble!!
April 15th, 2011 at 12:32 am
Cutest picture EVER!
April 15th, 2011 at 12:33 am
What a face! Too cute.

too cute man – I remember I son also had a box like this (was a shoe box that looked like a briefcase) …
You have to put up a pic of you in this dress… way back when you were wearing it.

You know she is such a star, Hollywood has nothing on Annie and her expressions.

I adore this picture!! I remember you showing us pictures of Maddie when she would make that face! Too cute…both of your wonderful girlies!!!

I was thinking the exact same thing, how much she looked like Maddie! And those piggie tails are killing me, they’re so cute!

I also though wow she looks like her big sis Maddie…Both BEAUTIFUL GIRLS

Could she be any sweeter? No really, could she? The briefcase is adorable. And I love seeing babies wearing mommy’s ‘hand me downs’ *g*
April 15th, 2011 at 2:54 am
She is just too cute! No really. It is unfair to other babies how adorable she is!!!
April 15th, 2011 at 3:00 am
So sweet! How fun that she can wear the same clothes that you wore when you were a toddler. Looks like your mom bought you nice, timeless things made from natural fabric. I had to pitch all of my 1970s tiny polyester pants suits. No way my girls were going to put up with those.

Oh, that face! She looks like she just got out of a really annoying meeting. She’s too cute!

I think this is my first time commenting here. I’ve been reading for a year or so, but I’m a bad blog commenter :-/.
I just had to say that I think Annie looks a lot like her big sister in this picture :-).
I really, really enjoy your blog. I’m so sorry for your loss :*(. I appreciate the realness of your posts about your grief. My heart breaks each time I read them. I ,too, lost a child, a preemie born 4 months early that lived for 11 days, 9 years ago in June. I feel like I barely got to know him and it hadn’t even really sunk in yet that I had given birth to him SO early before he was gone. I always wonder what he would have been like.

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I’m sure your son is still around you and I bet, he’s amazing!!! Nice to meet you!

Thank you, Jenn. I definitely feel that he is! I was lucky enough to go on to have 2 more beautiful babies. Another son that was born just as early and spent 6 months in the NICU. He will be 8 in August. Then my daughter was born 3 months early and that extra month she got made a world of difference. She spent 7 weeks in the NICU with no complications. She just turned 3 at the end of last month. I am blessed :*)

IF I didn’t have my own kids, I’d say she was the cutest thing ever. She’s still pretty close.
April 15th, 2011 at 6:36 am
I can’t even take this photo!! She is the cutest thing ever.
April 15th, 2011 at 7:15 am
That’s awesome! She looks like she’s late for a very important meeting! hehe She wears that dress WELL!
April 15th, 2011 at 7:18 am
She is serious about her work.

The only thing better than looking at this photo would be giving that adorable little munchkin of yours a great BIG hug! This just made my day – thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous girls with us!
April 15th, 2011 at 6:15 pm
And then I ate her whole.
April 15th, 2011 at 6:46 pm
Good lord, I love that kid.
April 15th, 2011 at 7:41 pm
I have a dress from when I was a baby, and I put it on my baby when she was about the same age so I could take a picture, but sadly, she hasn’t worn it other than that, since it didn’t age as well as your dress did. It’s so worn now you can practically see through it and the color is almost completely gone. It’s great to have that connection though!
That is such a cute picture too!
April 15th, 2011 at 8:16 pm
Love that girl and her piggy-tails. She looks ready for a full days work to me…
April 16th, 2011 at 7:57 am
Love this picture! She reminds me of Maddie in this picture. lol
April 16th, 2011 at 9:19 pm
Annie’s like: “Come on, momma! I want to go back to New York again.” ;o)
What a CUTIE! Love everything about this photo. Her expression, the box-turned-suitcase, and the dress. That dress reminds me of an episode of, “Full House;” Michelle’s first day of pre-school. Adorable! =o)
